We were picked up by an older model stretch limo (we wonder if it would make the tune at the HHV entrance- he did) & we had to walk a mile to get to it. The driver was in great shape apparently & practically ran to the car - we are not & couldn't keep up. For the ride back to the airport later that week, after confirming twice (once I called the phone number & was told it was not AAA Titanium, but when my husband called back someone else answered & confirmed for us) we waited where we were told & had to call again to find out where our driver was. He was 5 minutes away due to traffic. When he arrived in his minivan it was a taxi service! We were warned that there are scams trying to get you to pay again. We were fortunate in that these people did have our prepaid reservation, but it sure felt like a scam. We paid $140 for round trip service in an SUV. We could have paid less than $80 for a taxi round trip. Never booking transportation through the Hawaiian Airlines transportation portal again! Live & learn.

Used to use Oahu Airport Shuttle when I previously lived in Honolulu, so I decided to try them again to see if OAS would still be a good fit for my airport shuttle runs. Making reservations for departures or arrivals hasn't changed. Call their (808) 681-8000 number or go to their website (oahuairportshuttle.com), reservations made 72 hours prior and on-line qualify for a 10% discount. They will text you both a confirming reservation and on the day prior the number and name of your driver. I've used them twice for 2 airport round trips since I've come back to Honolulu, OAS have either been extremely punctual or have texted updates. I love the fact you don't need to get picked up at the busy personal or commercial arrival area, but in a licensed area Diamond Head of Baggage Claim H. Their one-way fare to/from McCully/Moiliili with the 72 hr on-line discount is $26.10, pretty reasonable and hasn't changed too much in 7-8 years, pretty amazing. The whole ride-share phenomenon wasn't around the last time I used OAS, so I'll probably use a ride-share at least once to see how it compares. But I wouldn't be surprised if Oahu Airport Shuttle compares favorably. Will repeat and recommend!

Use them and you won't be disappointed! They are always on time and have never made us wait. They are extremely patient with frazzled travelers, like we tend to be. I love that they waste no time loading suitcases and arranging things "just so". Their vans are clean and well air conditioned. There is plenty of room! Every single driver that we have had has been genuinely friendly. There is no dodging obstacles and speeding to the airport so they can drop you off and pick up their next customer. They unload your bags and make sure you are checked in and have all of your things before sending you off with a friendly aloha. Airport pick ups are much the same. Again, we have never been disappointed. Prices are reasonable and we have never had an issue with them not being available. Tip: Book online for a discount. The bottom line...this is the ONLY shuttle service to use!

I texted 15 minutes after the agreed upon time and again 30 minutes later and said I considered it a no-show and would go to plan B, but that I do write reviews and I would give an accurate account of the situation. At least half an hour later, after we had stored our bags at the airport instead, he contacted me apologizing for the error and offered to store our bags for free, but it was too late. Bottom line...I would give them a chance, but I'd call to confirm ahead of the actual pick up time.

We were greeted by Lee , the sweetest little lady that was not only very informative but also very personable. She shared her life story how she came from her country to Oahu on spring break to party and loved the island and never left, even leaving her boyfriend behind. Great story! She had us laughing and even exchanged personal phone numbers. My wife emailed her a picture of us and she put it on her wall behind her. Lee told us what packages were a rip off and what packages were worth the money. We ended up booking the Stars and Stripes package. She saved us money by telling us other sight seeing spots without needing a guide and that way we won't be rushed with a group either. This lady actually cares about making you happy because she wants you to be a repeat customer not just take your money and never see you again. This business does close early so check their hours. There is some free parking on street but if you cannot find free there is a lot nearby that you can pay by the hour. I really recommend this business and look forward to her visiting us here on the mainland or us visiting her there. Prices are not the cheapest but experience was well worth it and the peace of mind was priceless, unlike buying from vendors on street that WILL rip you off.

I stayed on the 19th floor with beautiful city views and a partial ocean view. I spent 7 nights there, and the room was consistently clean and comfortable thanks to excellent housekeeping. It's about a 20-minute walk to Waikiki, which is nice if the weather isn't too hot. Otherwise, the hotel offers a shuttle service that runs every two hours. Uber rides typically ranged from $9-$15, though Lyft was consistently a bit cheaper. There is a $50 daily destination fee, which is provided back as a credit to use at Sera on the property. While the credit is a nice perk, the experience at Sera didn't feel very welcoming. I've shared a more detailed review about that separately. Overall, still a convenient and enjoyable stay.
