Just moved here in 12/2025. Overall the reviews looked good and the loft apartments felt unique. Though to start with the negatives I dont understand all the good reviews, or people just have low standards. I came from living in Irvine company apartments in the OC and that was pretty good. Here you can hear people opening/closing cabinets, or using the shower, as if it's in your own unit. The water pipes are loud too. You can hear neighbors talking and making noise through the walls, it's pretty annoying, even though it seems they're talking in a regular volume. So it's really not a quiet complex. There is on site laundry but only 2 washers and dryers a piece, for the amount of units I think there should be more available. For the positives, the complex is centrally located next to the freeway so it's easy to get in and out of the area. Packages are delivered to the door which is nice. The loft units feel unique and was a big reason for choosing the complex. The management/ managers seem pretty nice and competent. When initially moving in I worked with Madison, then Tez, as the former was leaving. From my perception I think Carlo tries to hire competent managers so I'm sure whoever fills the spot will be good too. Overall good place but I think many of the reviews don't know what quiet means. read more

It's been a little over two months since my partner and I moved into Vista Pointe and I'm so beyond thrilled to be here. To begin with, getting this place was basically fate. We looked at 18 places over the course of two days. Didn't love any of them. We almost gave up and then saw this place randomly on our search. We called and toured the next day with Ruth. She's the property manager at the other Vista Pointe location but she was super communicative and friendly, and gave us a great tour of the place. We fell in love immediately. That being said, the application process was a bit difficult. We didn't get approved at first, even though we "checked all the boxes." (great credit, income, prior history, etc). But we're independent contractors, so we still needed a cosigner. Through that WHOLE process though, Ruth and our now current property manager Madison, were SO helpful and communicative. They constantly gave us updates and really fought for us to get in here. It's nice to know we're in a place that cares for its tenants, but also wants to make sure only responsible adults are moving in. Now our property manager Madison lives on site, and I cannot rave about her more. I've never had a landlord or manager that cares SO much about the tenants. Anything I need, she's a text away. Any time of day. Which is nuts. Our maintenance requests are handled right away. As are any other issues. (though there hasn't been anything major). It's an older building. Anyone moving in needs to know that. Walls are thin. There aren't any crazy new amenities. But the renovations are great. We love our one bedroom townhouse. We're right by the outdoor grilling/hot tub area, which is also a great perk. There's gated parking included. And the location is prime. You can't beat it. We feel super lucky to be here, and hope to stay here awhile! read more

I've been living here for over a year now and I can honestly say that I enjoy it very much. The manager, Terrell, has to be one of the best managers out there. Extremely responsive and very reliable whether it's something small or very important. I can't imagine another property manager doing a better job! The building is well maintained and it feels very comfortable to be in one of these units. Gated parking makes it feel safe and an unusually quiet area considering how close we're located to the freeway and businesses. Would definitely recommend without hesitation! read more

Nice, quiet, mid-century apartments that are comfortable and peaceful. The complex is not too large @ 30 units, and is located near stores, restaurants, and quick access to freeways. The manager, Terrell, is first class, providing you with all the details you need. He promptly resolves any issues, and provides quality service. The units and grounds are well-kept. The parking lot is gated, so your auto is secure, and tenants have assigned parking spaces (would like to see consideration given for a carport cover for the parking lot). There is, also a dedicated laundry room with coin-operated washers and dryers (would be nice to have digital payment options for the machines). Am a fairly new tenant, but can give a high recommendation for one to consider Vista Pointe I as their next home. read more

I had a very pleasant and smooth leasing experience so far at Vista Pointe I. Terrell, our manager, is a great communicator and people person. He is friendly, quick to respond, thorough, and addresses maintenance problems quickly. The community here also seems very friendly, as every new resident is definitely vetted thoroughly before signing a lease. All of the appliances are new upon move-in and I think the space is really clean and cozy. If you choose to live in the studio, you can have the option of keeping or taking out the furnished items, which I really appreciated. read more

Great apartment complex and Tyrrel, the manager, goes out of his way to assist with any issues. From changing out windows to fixing closet doors, he always seems to be on top with great communication. My wife and I toured the community and found it pretty fair for the location. right off the freeway. Easy to get to Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, or Downtown from the 101 or 134. The manager Terrell seems like a standup guy. read more

Having been here for three years in a 1 bd/1ba, it's overall a really wonderful place to live. The neighborhood is what you're paying for - this area of Studio City is gorgeous! Lots of trees, the cute Valley Village downtown area nearby, walking distance from Ralphs, Starbucks, etc. on Ventura. You get one assigned parking spot per studio or 1 bedroom. It's uncovered and my car is starting to see a lot of weather damage (although I don't blame Carlo Apartments for that!) I do hope they have an opportunity to offer covered parking for future residents. Moving in: Everything was new. The apartments come with a gas stove, new carpets, walk in closet, new bathroom fixtures, and window air conditioning and heat. I'm pretty sensitive to temperature and the air conditioning window units have worked just fine at keeping the apartment cool in the 90+ heat in the summer. The downsides: - The price is steep considering what you're getting. I moved in prior to them raising the rent and I know I wouldn't pay any more than what I'm paying now for my apartment, as nice as it is. - If you have an apartment facing the building next to us (not the parking lot) the noise is ridiculous. Between dogs howling and yelping to parties till 3 am, it's rough if you have odd work or school schedules. (This is even after filing complaints with the manager of the neighbor building about the noise levels.) - The heater frequently has trouble kicking on. Likely because of it being such an old system. - The new manager isn't super competent. She's sweet, but very young and is pretty occupied with her own family. If you have questions about things, you'll likely be directing them to the owners of the building (Carlo Apartments) rather than her. read more

All I can say about where I live , is that is such an amazing place. It's very quiet, central to the red line and the freeways. There are a lot cool places to eat around the area not to mention the market is near by. The new manager is such a wonderful person and is really good at getting back to you promptly when you have questions or concerns. Washroom is always clean, jacuzzi is always warm, the building is kept up very well, gated parking is such a plus and the maintenance crew always does a good job when things need fixing! read more

I love my apartment! It is a beautiful town home with plenty of space and very affordable for the area. The building is always clean, great location, near 101 fwy, quiet street, gated assigned parking and security entrance. The building manager Annie makes herself available and is very friendly! The one thing I do wish is that we had a pool instead of a Jacuzzi. read more

I have lived at Vista Pointe 1 for over 5 years now, and have loved my time there. We have had 3 managers in that time, and all have been awesome. John, our present manager, is friendly, caring, and very attentive to resident's needs and concerns. Unfortunately, I am moving at the end of this month, but to a much larger place, much closer to my place of business. I will miss some of the wonderful neighbors I had at Vista Pointe, most of the people here are very respectful and friendly. Do not hesitate to rent here! read more

I've been looking for a new place for a couple of weeks and I've seen a lot of questionable places, so it was a nice surprise to see an apartment that was both in a great area and clean. The manager called me back back almost immediately (the ONLY time a manager has done that since my search started), and she's this charming and fashionable multi-tasker with no B.S. The apartment was perfect with parking and everything, but we were hoping they would make an exception for our miniature yorkie Rufus Rex, but no pets means no pets :( I'm recommending everybody I know take a look at this place if they're looking for a spot in NoHo since I couldn't move there. read more

I have been living here for about a year now and I love it! I have never had any issues with anything, and if I have ever had a question, the manager John is always so helpful and prompt to respond. I recently had a tour of this apartment building and I did really love it! It's nice and cozy, has great lighting, carpet, seems generally quiet and really affordable. My favorite part was the awesome and super sweet apartment manager Annie. I've lived so many places in Los Angeles, and no apartment manager has ever been as nice and accommodating as this gal. And when we did the tour she was actually assisting with a tenet who needed help, and she was just so great with them. I honestly wouldn't have left my current apartment, if I had an apartment manager as reliable and helpful as that. I really wished I could have moved in, but I didn't realize it was a no pet policy. But, this place is really clean, nice, has parking, everyone in the building seems really friendly, and it's a great location. read more

Annie is one of the top apartment managers we have ever had. She is attentive and responsive. She takes our concerns very seriously and works with the management at Carlo to keep us happy (within reason). There are two managers who we have had here that are hands down the best. Thelma P. Scott (RIP) and Annie. This building is located in a very quiet neighborhood, great neighborhood shopping, and very close to freeways and only 5 minutes from Hollywood, 15 minutes from Burbank Airport. I highly recommend any tenant to apply, you will be taken care of too. read more

Apartment hunting and moving is a literal nightmare! In addition to making plans for our wedding, my husband and I needed to find a place to live. We love the apartment we found at Aqua Vista. Our manager is charming, considerate and had our best interest in mind from the moment we met her. Thanks to her our wedding could happen with far less stress and we have our home now, convenient to work and play and grocery stores. The neighborhood and the apartment building is very clean and well maintained. We are very happy here. read more
