He let us select our images beforehand and had them roughly pencil sketched on the canvases and ready to go when we arrived. This was no simple "paint by numbers" type class. He taught us how to mix our colors and the brush techniques we needed to get the best results for the pictures we had chosen. He even coached us on some alternative/more advanced techniques to create interesting effects to match our source images, such as adding texture/physical depth, and drips/spatters. At no point did we feel rushed and he let us stay until we finished. A really fantastic experience and we hope to do it again! Krzyzak Eyecare was recommended more than anyone else, so I decided to give them a try, and I'm very happy that I did. It did take a few months to get in there initially, so if you are reading this and thinking about schedueling an appointment, plan accordingly. While I usually hate waiting, I considered this to be a good sign that people are happy here and that I was making a good choice. For my exam, I met with Dr. Michael Krzyzak, who I felt was very personable and did an excellent job explaining what he was doing and what the best options were for my situation. After the exam I met with the absolutely wonderful Alicia, who helped me pick out my new frames and was very thorough in making sure that she had the perfect measurements for my new progressive lenses. When someone knows what they are doing like she did, it adds a whole new level of value to buying your glasses in house, rather than online. And when I came back to pick up my new glasses, she made me feel like a VIP even though I am new to the practice. The whole experience was everything that I could have asked for and I'm so grateful to have found an eyecare team that I have complete confidence in and will now stick with.
