(Find a better place that respects your money) This used to be the spot. Unfortunately ruined by careless employees and Rafael the manager who is as dull as doorknob. The experience hosting a pizza party was ruined. They delivered the wrong order, and I have guests who couldn't eat meat. First time pizza has ever looked like this. No idea what was happening in transit, but good lord. However, an on going issue...we specifically put on the instructions NOT to ring the doorbell, because our dog will bark his head off. It's just what he does. We try to avoid this anytime food is delivered. But what the driver do? He rings the dang doorbell. We have sent feedback time and time again requesting the delivery driver read the instructions. I was assured that would happen, clearly not. We also requested contactless delivery, meaning put it on the porch and leave, since everything is already paid for. This place is my all time favorite Chicago Thin crust pizza. The crust is perfect, the cheese is perfect, and they never mess up my order. Being from Chicago, sausage is my preferred protein over pepperoni, and their Extra cheese and sausage pizza is the best. I've been to a ton of other pizza places over the years and they're always just missing the mark whether it's not enough cheese, sausages are too small, crust isn't right, or they add some weird spice and it just doesn't taste good, but his place does it all perfectly. This pizza is right up there with Maria's, Rosati's, and Vito & Nick's! This place's stuffed pizza is also very good. I wouldn't say it's as good as some other favorites like Giordano's but it's fantastic and definitely will satisfy that super thick, super cheesy sensation everyone gets once in a while. After doing Cemino's, Aurellio's, Lou Malnati's, Rosatti's, etc, I finally found a pie that stands up to the better pub- style pizzas in Chicagoland. If your a fan a Vito & Nicks or Foxx's, this pie is for YOU! Vita Bella has successfully captured what a thin crust pizza should be! I went for the sausage, green peppers, mushroom, and black olives and I found all the contents very fresh and tasty(especially the sausage and the sauce), and the crust was thin and crispy, just the way I like it. I picked up, and after a 15 minute drive home, the pizza was still very hot and NO mushy pieces in the middle. Kudos to the folks at Vita Bella for creating such an exquisite pie! I'm disgusted with this place. It's the 2nd time I've had an issue with them, this time was the last straw for me. I was told my 2 pizzas would take 60 mins to be delivered when I ordered online, I called an hr and 20 mins after I ordered and they apologized and said it'll be leaving in 10 mins. I had a party of 6 to feed and 2 babies who were starving. I said if it's going to take longer than the 10 mins I'd like a refund. They promised it wouldn't take more than 10 mins. So we waited. The pizzas took 2 HOURS to be delivered and my guests had left due to it being almost 9pm at that point and the babies had to get to bed. They told me I would receive a refund for the inconvenience and to call the next day when they opened. I call and ask for my refund and the horrendous manager did not care at all what happened and then refused the refund I was promised. Now I'm out $85 with tip and have 2 giant pizzas that my guests never got to touch. I will never give this place another penny of mine. We preordered and prepaid for a catering event for 4.24.2021. Driver showed up 22 minutes late with only half the order and looked at us cluelessly, then left claiming he will return with the other half of the order. Without being able to even keep the food warm due to the lack of chafing dishes, he returned 45 minutes later STILL WITHOUT THE COMPLETE ORDER! Still looking at us cluelessly, he proceeds to tell us they do not have the preorder place settings. Cold food and no place settings! Driver and multiple calls to the restaurant confirmed to us that there was no manager on duty that night, they took our information and assured us that a manager would reach out.
