This is the only USCIS location that I've ever been to for interviewing my green card and…read morecitizenship. I have a good experience here. In a normal circumstance, I'd say I recommend this location but you can't really choose so good luck. You can only come inside 15 minutes before your appointment. I always came 30 minutes early and wait in the car to be sure I won't late. There's a lot of parking too. You need to show them your appointment notice for them to let you in. The security guards are serious but polite. After going through security, you need to go to the check-in booth so that they can notify your interviewer that you're there. Then you would go wait in the waiting area. The waiting area is spacious and usually doesn't have many people. You'd probably wait about 15 minutes before the officer calls you in. If you come in for a citizenship interview and you pass the test, the officer will tell you to wait in the waiting area to receive more information regarding the oath ceremony appointment. The 2 officers that interviewed me for my green card and citizenship were very nice and friendly. They made the interviews less scary. Side note: if you need to reschedule your interview (citizenship interview in my case), call the number on the interview notice. A representative will send the request over to the local office. You'll get a confirmation email saying they'll honor your request to change the appointment. This means you don't have to go to the interview anymore. They might not schedule you a new interview date until the original one has passed so if this is the case, you can even attend the original interview date if you can make it.

I think what really needed to improve in this place is the cleanliness. The toilets were not super clean and the interior looked scary. This place could use some more investment in the exterior and interior design because it honestly looks like a prison cell from the outside. Parking was easy to find and if there is none, there's also street parking.

If you are going to other hospitals then you are pretty much prone to not getting the right treatment for whatever ailment you have if you are on medi-cal or low income. If you are in need of mental health services, good luck finding a good therapist because they do nothing. ERs are so bad in SCC because there is a lack of regulation and agency. If you go to the ERs with little to no wait time, the doctors there are not as experienced as the ones at Valley Medical. This county is doing nothing to make sure people get the proper care they need. Sure the public health leader is good but she puts very little care on the experience of doctors and long wait times at Valley Medical. If you are living in this county, I recommend you move or remain with Kaiser if you can

Let…read moreme start by saying this was my first time serving as a juror, and to be honest, I learned a lot and actually enjoyed it. I know most people dread jury duty, but I honestly wouldn't mind doing it again. A few highlights: First off, there's some eye candy (I'm talking about the sheriffs, DA's, attorneys--seriously, not bad on the eyes). But beyond that, we had an amazing judge. Let's call him Judge BB for privacy reasons. He was incredibly kind, level-headed, had excellent people skills, and was just plain funny. One moment that stood out: a woman mentioned, "I know being a mom isn't a full-time job." And Judge BB, with his JFK-level smile (I swear he could run for mayor with that charm), replied, "I always consider being a mom a full-time job!" That's some grown man energy right there. Then there was our ADA (let's call him ADA I). He was so sweet and kind, and you could really tell he was doing his best. Low key, he's cute in that dorky way. I even thought about slipping him my number, but I wasn't brave enough to do it. Maybe next time! All in all, it was a great experience and I walked away with a newfound respect for the legal process and the people who keep it running smoothly.

There is no excuse to have in-person activities at a government building without requiring proof of Vaccination for EVERYONE (with exception of the few with a valid medical exemption, who should be excused from Jury duty).  I was never asked if I was vaccinated and it was never mentioned at check-in, on the recorded messages to the potential jurors, or by the judge.   4 STARS   - Park on the 3rd floor of the parking garage (same level as the pedestrian bridge), get your ticket validated as soon as you check-in on the 2nd floor.  When you return to the garage, there is no need to stop at the pay station, drive directly to the exit. 3 STARS -  Staff was helpful at security, at check-in, and in the courtroom.  The judge provided helpful information about the case and an explanation about COVID precautions, masks, air filtration, distancing, but the vaccination status of participants was never mentioned which was troubling. 2 STARS - Waiting area reminded me of a regional airport terminal,  (walk all the way to the backroom, it is the least crowded)   Bring a book, a charged phone/laptop.  Don't count on getting access to an outlet.   Also, bring water or soda, and snacks.

They aren't going to give you any housing, because, they claim, they have none to give. They will refer you to the homeless hotline, another fraud, for a referral to a shelter. If you call you will never get a shelter bed and they will never call you back, just another dead end. I could on ad infinitum. Truthfully, I was just being kind, because that is my nature, I try to see the good and overlook the bad. In actuality, they are an abomination and a fraud. The simpering propaganda on their website offends one's sensibilities. The imperious and condescending and haughty conduct and tone of some of their staff is truly comical and laughable in view of the fact that they produce absolutely nothing while sloping at the public trough. They presented aggression due to a miscommunication of protocol upon building entry. If there needs to be only x2 guests per screening, place proper signage at the entrance. Upon arriving I entered the building to be told to wait outside. As instructed I waited outside patiently. Before they finished screening, not even provoking this treatment- they opened the door again aggresively to tell me, and I quote "you need to WAIT. DO NOT rush our JOBS". They closed the door on me.. as I continued to wait. lol cmon now So now I am asked to enter, and these are the questions asked: "What brings you to this building today?" I say, "I have an appointment" They ask "do you have an ID?" I say, "yes" While unloading all my items into the basket I wait for further instructions to pass the metal detector. They again rudely ask for my ID. I inquired if there is any signage at the door preparing the people for this screening, I get told "YES WE DO- do you want to go outside and read again?!" Niiiiice dude If your ID needs to be presented at security check in, provide proper signage. They claim the signage at the door requests these items, but they only mention items that cannot be brought into the building. This can prevent frustration and mistreatment of both staff and patrons. I recommend better training & attentiveness to your staff. I'm going to do my best to report this to the BBB and anywhere else I can blast it. Don't make it my business that you hate your job. It's rare that these days security makes you feel secure- this was the opposite. This made me feel way more in danger than safe. I hope these A-holes find peace and a better attitude. My advice, get a therapist lol

I came to this office to get a seller's license and I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency of this office. Although the paperwork for the license said that the process could take up to two weeks, my partner and I walked out with a license about an hour after we walked in the doors. The woman who helped us was friendly and helped answer our questions. All in all, a great experience.

I called the BOE today and found that I needed a seller permit from them and that I had three years of back sales tax to pay them. The one street parking is non-existant, but the parking garage is directly next door and convenient. We (I had my boys with me) went in and the receptionist sent us right in. Not much of a wait at all. We talked to Vivian (Viv) and she was a wonderfully helpful and sweet woman (with cute pictures of her new grandbaby). We got my permit done quickly and she walked me step-by-step taking care of the previous years due. She made a mildly unfortunate event easy-peasy. Thank you Viv!
