He told me that if we sent the artwork in and got it paid for, I would be able to receive a fabric backdrop by Friday. So I send the artwork and am ready to pay. However, it turns out they can't do it and he calls me that evening to tell me. Fine, but he tells me they can do a vinyl backdrop with matte finish. I'm told that I can see a photo of it to make sure it's to my liking. Ok, sure - so I wait. 10/4 Wed: A woman calls me in the am and apologizes for not being able to follow through but that a 5x7 vinyl backdrop is doable. Ok, that's fine - I ask for a photo again. I wait and I wait, but do not receive any photo resembling any backdrop for the entire day. Instead, I get a photo of a wall and curled backdrop that looks like it was mistakenly sent. I email them three times throughout the day "hey can I get an update on this?" By now, an entire 8 hours have passed so I send one last email: "Please help. Bringing to this to the top of your inbox." 10/5 Thurs: Josh emails me in the early am and says "Please contact a different company. We have cancelled your order. " Like, what? Why even string me along with empty promises if you're going to cancel on me like that with no explanation? When you tell me something, I'm going to have a certain expectation. This company straight wasted my valuable time. I would have just appreciated a simple 'no' in the very beginning. Instead, I was left to scramble and find another company on Thursday for a Friday deadline. Luckily, I was able to find Speed Pro and Joseph was able to take care of me. Paid him right away. Simple, like it should be.
