I love the vitality bowl in Fremont! I go there every day for lunch. Unfortunately, the vitality bowl in Danville does not seem to have the same standards. I've been there at least a dozen times, hoping to have a smoothie that tastes the same as the one I purchase in Fremont however, every time I've been disappointed. perhaps the young gals working at Danville are not properly trained? Hello fello açaí enjoyers, I would just like to bring this to everyone's attention. I went here for the first time today, and i had high hopes because everyone i knew said it was pretty good. This turned out to not be the case. Not only did it take 25 min for it to come, the flavor was bland. Nectar and Pressed Juicery (just down the street 2-3 minutes away), are much faster and better options. If you're a açaí connoisseur like myself then I would not recommend this place. I know around this time of year life gets crazy and we have places to be and people to see, so having a bowl take this long is not exactly ideal. NO VITALITY, ONLY LIFELESS bowls! We (+2kids) went there after a hike to fuel up with something fresh and healthy instead of feeding my kids a dry snack bar. I was wrong. They would have been better off with that bar. My kid askd for the vegetable with Hummus. It is the most simplest item on their menu besides water. Carrots and Celery with Hummus dip. What we got was ridiculous. Huge chunks of unwashed carrots and muddy pieces of celery. We also ordered for a panini and a hummus sandwich. They were okay. We are regulars at Vitality Bowls in Danville. Their ingredients are fresh and healthy and set a great standard for the kids to easily choose healthy options. They offer curbside pickup and no contact delivery which is fantastic if you have kids in the car and don't want to lug everyone in and out to pick up food. Jaime is the best manager. I hope that she is there forever. 90% of the time our orders are perfect. When they aren't, Jaime is always super helpful to fix the issue. I used to only get açaí bowls but when I tried the green goddess dressing, it became very difficult to get something else that was sweet because superfoods are in the salads, too! I love to order from the app because I get loyalty points that add up quickly to get discounts easily, but when I can't leave to pickup food, I'll use DoorDash and not accumulate points. Manager Bria is very aggressive and rude! I used to come here a lot since I live in the Danville area, and I love their power paninis! I never knew there was an option for chicken or avocado as the protein since no one ever specified this to me at the location when ordering! I usually order a power panini, and it comes with chicken. No one ever asks me for chicken or avocado. So today, I thought I'd switch it up and try my friend's order, adding avocado to the power panini, which I thought had already come with chicken. Enrique took my order, and I ordered it just like this: "Can I get a power panini and add avocado." When he was making my sandwich, I heard him mutter, "Sh*t" I was a bit concerned, but I got my order, and it was very poorly wrapped, almost like they had just crumpled the paper on the sandwich and pasted a sticker on it. I assumed they were new, so I paid no mind to it. I took a bite of my sandwich, which tasted funny. I opened it up and noticed that the cheese wasn't melted. It was just a cold slice of cheese. I further looked at it and saw there was no chicken. I spoke to my server, Enrique, about this, and he said it's because I chose avocado as my protein. I tried to explain that this was a misunderstanding, and I said to ADD avocado. Bria G. Came out, and with an aggressive tone, she started questioning me. She claimed she was the manager, which might be true, but I have doubts just because of how she handled the situation and her tone. I told her it was a misunderstanding, and I thought the sandwich originally came with chicken because no one ever specified the protein option to me whenever I ordered. She kept repeating herself, getting a bit more aggressive, basically saying that it was my fault the order was wrong since I didn't know about the protein options. Still, I told her I never knew that the protein had different options, and none of the staff ever told me or specified when ordering. She took me to a tablet to show me, but I told her I didn't order off a tablet; I ordered it at the register. She said oh. I went on to ask if I could pay the correct price of the sandwich, and I tried to give them options that might be a little easier for them. I asked if they could either remake it, give me a side of chicken, or even add chicken to my already-made sandwich. She said no to all the options. I was confused about why the sandwich couldn't be remade since it was made wrong, but then I asked if I could pay for a whole new sandwich and get the other one refunded. She REFUSED and got a bit more aggressive in her tone. I asked her multiple times why I couldn't just refund my sandwich, and she said because there were no mistakes made on their part and it was solely my fault... The cheese wasn't melted; no one specified or asked me for chicken or avocado as a protein at the register when I was ordering. I even said ADD avocado. And yet she gave me no slack for my confusion and pointed at the menu, saying it specifies there! She told me to read it, and when I didn't say anything, she spoke very loudly, saying, "Chicken or avocado!" I told her I had never read the menu since this is what my friend usually gets, and I had just copied her order and how she usually orders it. (Also, why would I look at the menu if I already knew what I wanted?) She had nothing to say besides no refund for my sandwich. I paid for a whole separate sandwich to be made right and asked for my receipt for both orders. I opened my new sandwich when I got home since I felt uncomfortable eating there after that interaction with Bria (the manager), and there was no Dijon, so it was another very upsetting order. I'm distraught by my interaction with Bria, which was handled very poorly. As someone who worked in food service, this was NO way to handle a situation like this, and this is especially unbelievable because this attitude is coming from their manager! I hope to talk to the owner about my experience with Bria. I love Vitality Bowls; their food and bowls are delicious! This location is also very convenient for me, but after that interaction with the manager, Bria G., I don't think I want to return. I hope to get a refund for my sandwich and resolve this issue, and I hope Bria can improve their customer service experience as well. I have hope! read more

I recently visited Vitality Bowls and was impressed by their smoothies. They're super fresh, delicious, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The bowls are also great, especially if you're looking for something filling and nutritious, but I have to say, they're a bit overpriced for what you get. While I understand you're paying for health-focused options, I still wish the prices were a little more reasonable. Overall, a great spot if you're craving something fresh and healthy but be prepared to pay. The staff are nice however quality can differ sometimes. read more

I'm a Vitality Bowls regular. This location is hit or miss, with a tendency to either shortchange the sizes (large bowls aren't filled all the way) or miss requested ingredients. They also take a long time to fulfill orders compared to other places. But I've finally had a bowl that required a review: The acai filling was only an inch thick, the majority of the bowl was granola, and it didn't clear the top inch of the takeout container. It was more of a smoothie starter kit. After this, I'm not sure if I want to give this location another chance. read more
