The owners of Grams have done really well to take the American diner feel and kick it up a notch with fantastic brunch specials and dishes that add a modern flare like today's Cluckin Awesome Chicken Sandwich. Will be moving over 8 hours away and Grams diner is one of the places I will miss most for brunch! I have loved coming here over the past five years. I always enjoy on Fridays seeing what their brunch specials would be for the weekend. Always good food and nice service. It can get busy and sometimes be a little bit of a wait but all the food is cooked to order, so it's worth it. Drink specials have always been on point as well! read more

We figured we'd try Grams one more time since initially (2+ years ago) our visits were always stellar. We even went out of our way to dine here several times. Sadly we went a few days ago & that review is available for viewing (along with the rude & snide response from the owner). Todays lunch take out was absolutely no different. Same situation, lack of customer service & bland tasteless food. I'm sure the owner will try to once again argue with a less than 5 star rating but rest assured we had 2 meals here recently & both were not stellar. read more

Came to try out this restaurant for myself, it's in a cute area, but very small dinner and extremely small menu. Food was decent though but I don't think I'd go back waited over 10 min to get our drinks & 40 min to get our pancakes and omelet. And the waitress should be more attentive to their tables with drink refills and such. (The strawberries didn't taste fresh unfortunately, and I do not eat pork and my eggs just smelled and tasted like meat) Im picky and just have high expectations for where I'm from and come from. read more

Gram's is amazing. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. They have a rotating brunch menu with seasonal options during the weekend. Gram's is a cool mix between having usual offerings as a diner and still getting creative with new ideas. $3 for a mimosa or Bloody Mary during brunch hours. Today I had the chicken fajita bowl and it was incredible - I especially enjoyed the Southwest sauce. Prices are fair. Can't wait for my next visit! read more

Went here today on way home from Adirondacks. Food was good but the service was terrible. We were finally sat at a table and given our drinks and never heard from the waitress again while it took 30 minutes for the food to come. Felt like since we weren't regulars we had to wait. On my last trip to upstate NY my friend that I was staying with decided to take me to a local diner for some brunch. As an SF resident, I was so shocked at how inexpensive brunch can be elsewhere. The prices are super affordable. Anyway, for brunch I ordered the bacon stuffed french toast that came with pure maple syrup. It was really really good, especially if you are into the whole sweet and savory combo, which I totally am. I also was fortunate enough to taste the standard brunch item, eggs benedict. The poached eggs were very nicely cooked and the English muffin was perfectly toasted and wasn't chewy like sometimes they can be. I was really on the fence about ordering pancakes too, I didn't get to try them but they really did look delicious. The service was a little slow to take our order and get the food but it wasn't too bad since I had my coffee. They did have mimosas but I opted to not have one since I was probably still a little tipsy from the night before. Overall, it was a good experience and my wallet thanked me for, for once not having a super expensive brunch. If you are ever in the area definitely check it out. read more

I went to Gram's yesterday for breakfast. The waitress was friendly and kept my coffee cup full. She also didn't rush me as I was very indecisive about what I wanted. I went with sausage gravy and biscuits with two eggs over easy - it was delicious. I've never had it with biscuits quite like theirs; it was almost sweet. I was surprised with how fast my food was ready. I hadn't even finished a cup of coffee yet. I was stuck in Adams all day so I went back for lunch. I had a beer from their surprisingly good bottled selection. They also serve a few cocktails. The waitresses talked with me for a while about my rabbits, since I was in town for the vet. I got spaghetti and meatballs - salad came out wicked fast and the main course not long after. It came with Texas Toast which was buttery and to die for. 5/5 would recommend and would even make a special trip to Adams, a 40 minute drive, just to go back there. read more

Outstanding. If this place was in a big city there'd be a line out the door. But it's a phenomenal surprise in a cute small town. The crowd were locals who knew each other but it was a warm place for us foreigners. We got breakfast and some lunch. Eggs are done well. Homemade sausage gravy and corned beef hash. Cute little diner in the little town of Adams. The service was a little slow but it was decent. My only complaint was the coffee in the French Press was very bitter and it was disappointing. The food was good especially the bacon stuffed french toast which you get to pour maple syrup all over is a delight for your mouth. We will be back again. read more

Growing up in NJ, diners hold a very important part of my heart. Gram's is probably the best diner in the area. They always have new and creative weekend specials that always taste delicious. Their eggs are local and cage free and I think that extra detail makes everything just taste better. It's always a treat when I go to Grams Because I always leave full and happy. read more

Their pumpkin pancakes were fantastic. We waited 20 minutes before we were seated. This is a popular place. The service was excellent and the food tasted good. We were staying in Clayton and returning home so we decided to stop here for breakfast. This was an excellent decision. The only problem was that street parking is limited. However I still recommend this place for breakfast. read more

Edit 4/29/16: The specials here are pretty good and the deserts are as well. Breakfasts have been pretty good lately but sometimes don't meet expectations (like undercooked homefries). Still has some good food but not as good as the year when they first re-opened. First review in 2014: The food here is awesome!
