Before moving, this was our go to place for cool, comfy, relaxed atmosphere. Great food! Great service! Great drinks! The Brass Rail has it all. We're ALWAYS treated like family there. It was a sheer joy to revisit and love it even more!! Thanks!!

Decided to stop in here last night (Saturday). What a pleasant local surprise. My girlfriend had suggested checking this place out for some time now and we finally had the chance. The service was amazing. Our waiter was so attentive and checked on us often during our meal for needs and refills. Highly appreciated . The venue was comfortable. Spaced out tables and nice private booths in the restaurant area, they also have a nice size populated bar. And now finally the food! The munchies platter was the perfect starter and I had a French onion soup. The Mr. Enjoyed his prime rib sandwich as well. Tasty and cooked well !

This was my first time here but my sister and her family have been coming here for a long time with their family. From the moment we drove into their parking lot I knew this place was going to be busy and when we went inside the place was beyond packed. It's a large space with a large full bar that was completely full. They had TVs around the bar and restaurant. This place was very lively and loud. They offer live entertainment. They were setting up when we came in. We came with a large group but we really didn't have to wait long. My sister told me they were known for their prime rib dinners so that is what I ordered. Everything that we ordered was fresh and delicious. Even though this place was very busy the service was streamlined, efficient and on point.

Photo showing the house salad the same price as the side sauce.

Brass rail charges $2 for a small side of wing sauce? Buyer beware!!! It's not even written on the menu by the wing section either. We only added the 1 extra sauce it wasn't like we asked for a bunch. Your waitress didn't even mention the extra fee either when ordering to inform us. The funny thing is.. as you can see from photo you can get a side salad with a meal for the same exact price... If you turn the tables around does That even seem to make sense to a customer? .50 maybe for the extra sauce.. but $2???? We even Talked to the waitress about it how confused we were being charged since we weren't informed. She didn't seem tocare much. So, guess what? We took it off her tip. Def was (her job) to inform and also what a massive up charge on brass rails side too... especially not even listing it on the menu... that's where that's very deceiving to your patrons. Hopefully this will make them see how customers being highly up charged on something so minor and fix this this kind of decision . At the minimum , train ur staff to inform! Thanks

Let me start by saying this brass rail is not in any way related to the brass rail in Hoboken . I know it's Sunday and the weather today is not really that great , but I honestly expected someone to greet us when we walked in instead of us having to look for someone . Food : my boyfriend had the burger with sweet potato fries and it was ok ... I had shrimp quesadillas and I must say I wasn't that impressed :( very blend and served cold . Food quality and service in no way at all compared to Hoboken . You can actually tell they are NOT related . The lady helping us didn't even know which IPA beer was stronger . The one thing I found mesmerizing was the fish thanks .. that was the most exciting part of my visit . They could certainly use some progress . P.S: If you are ever in HOBOKEN NJ , please make SURE to check The Brass Rail there .. you will not regret .

Brass Rail Bar & Grill is a great spot to meet your family and friends! We had a large party meet in the side room. The manager, waiters, and entire staff were so accommodating with everything. We booked the reservation last minute and created a price fixed menu easily. We did not have one complaint about our time at Brass Rail and are extremely grateful to the entire team for making it an stress-free experience for us. Recommend this place to anyone looking for a casual meal! Thank you!!!

My girlfriend took me to brass rail for dinner after I told her I wanted something laid back, fun, but also had good food. The ambiance was exactly what I was looking for with a nice hometown bar type experience with excellent food. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were crispy and the cheese was nice and melty and the marinara to dip was exactly what I had hoped. The prime rib was very juicy cooked medium rare how I ordered it and the garlic mashed was also very good. The waiter was very cool and came over not too often or too little which is super rare these days. Definitely will be coming back again to try some other stuff too and maybe to sit at the bar for happy hour.

They also have a pizzeria conveniently located right next door, which is a nice bonus. The service was outstanding--Alessandro was the best! He recommended his signature cocktail, the Orange Cosmopolitan, and all I can say is WOW. Perfectly made and dangerously good--they definitely sneak up on you! He checked in on us throughout the evening, always friendly and engaging, which truly elevated the experience. The food was just as impressive: Pollo Milanese - a perfectly cooked chicken cutlet topped with fresh mozzarella, arugula, cherry tomatoes, onions, shaved Parmesan, and a bright lemon vinaigrette. Pollo Carbonara - topped with prosciutto, spinach, peppers, and fontina cheese, served over penne pasta. Alaska Chicken (special) - stuffed chicken with shrimp, roasted tomatoes, spinach, and cheese in a rich cream sauce, served with saffron risotto. Absolutely delicious. For dessert, we shared a toasted almond cake and a caramel cheesecake cone--paired with cappuccinos, of course. The perfect ending to a great meal. It was a wonderful evening shared with wonderful people, made even better by Alessandro's exceptional service. Highly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely be back to try more dishes!

The parking was actually full when we arrived, possibly because of the bar using the same lot. But there is an elevated connected lot for the bowling alley that has plenty of parking. I have to say that the best thing about this place is the service: everyone was very friendly, and quick to attend us. Food was great, except maybe the flake fish (first course). Seemed more Spanish to me than Portuguese though. Portions were huge... actually had leftovers from a dish, which is the first for me from a tasting menu. The prices were reasonable In terms of why I'm giving this 4 star instead of 5: -we were seated at the "Chefs counter", but did not really have a view of the prep, which was really far away. Basically could just see the fireplace. The sister restaurant Heirloom is a much better chef's counter setup where you are seeing everything -Dishes seemed to be regular menu type dishes (just smaller portions), as opposed to super interesting types that you would expect from a tasting menu -Beverage pairing was okay... didn't really love the wines For these reasons, I'd likely return, but just stick to the regular menu/ experience.

When you drive past, you might not exactly know it's there- almost looks like a warehouse or closed shop when passing by. It is dark and gives speak-easy vibes. We had the horseradish shots (spicy to the perfect level- not the kind that makes your nose burn), my husband had some kind of hibiscus or fruity drink, and I had the extra dirty martini. LOVED the pickle stuffed olives that came with my drink. I selected the gin, but would opt for the vodka version next time to see if I could taste more olives. I've been coming to three of you for a while, and I've always really loved the experience. The complexity of the drinks and the thought that goes into them is really appealing to me, and I think it's worth the price of the drinks, given all that goes into them. The staff here is all super friendly, and the environment is incredibly chic. They recently added more couches, and it truly has a lounge feel, which I think is really lovely. Recently, I needed to host a private event, and I knew they had experience hosting events, so I reached out to Maks to book my celebration. The planning part of this process was extremely smooth. Max was very responsive, making it very easy, and they were flexible with the details. As for the price, I thought it was very reasonable, and I rented the entire space, which I considered a good deal. The start of the day of the party was invaluable; they arrived early to set up, which allowed me to set up what I needed as well. My guest had really great interactions with the staff, and they truly loved the environment, the drinks, and I know they had fun talking with the bartenders, which made the experience worthwhile in my opinion. Thank you, 3 BR, for helping me celebrate some tremendous milestones in my life. If you need to book a private event, I would recommend checking out this place first and speaking with the staff. I don't think you would regret booking a private event with them, as I would not hesitate to do it again. .
