    Margarita Pizza

My Friday go to .. at the ilcaffe coffee shop on broadway .. nice setup in front every Friday nights they sit along side the curb ..baked to order ! Fresh and hot I've had both the White pizza & Margherita pizza ..available in small or larger sizes ..very delicious.. love the crusty crunch and fresh ingredients just packed with flavor. To top it off .. the coffee shop has wine and beer .. to compliment an inexpensive romantic outdoor seating with lighting an ambience on the iconic sidewalk outside of the eastern building ! It's all about the vibe for me ..

My husband and I met these guys on the WB lot and they didn't disappoint. The meat pizza was really delicious and we'll seek them out again. Great truck set up, too.

Yay!! What a great experience. I love the truck! It's like you're looking into a wood fire oven, and I could see the guy prepare the dough and make the pizza. The Peperoni Pizza is $14 and worth every penny for the old world pepperoni--the tiny curled up pepperoni. It's the best! I only had to wait 5 minutes for my pizza. Fast friendly service and a very fresh product.

We lucked out at Paperback Brewing because this was tonight's food truck. Very delicious pizza with a sourdough crust and wonderful blackened blisters, lots of pepperoni and a great sauce to toppings ratio. Prices were reasonable - $18-$20 for a large pizza for two of us and $12-14 for smaller pizzas. I loved the pepperoni pizza we ordered and would gladly eat their pizza again any time.

I think Vivace may be my favorite pizza in LA that I've had so far. I follow them on Instagram to see when they are nearby and when they are, I make it a point to visit them. Usually if they are in the South Bay they stop at Brouwerij West so you can pick up some delicious Neapolitan style pizza out of their mobile brick oven and enjoy a beer from the brewery. Thin, tasty and we made three pizzas disappear in one sitting. I highly recommend Vivace not only for their food but the quality of service, always a great experience.

    11" Margherita w/ sausage

Vivace was near my apartment complex the other night and I was tired of leftovers and strangely craving pizza (been awhile since I had a good slice). I ordered an 11" Margherita and added sausage. Pizza was piping hot and fresh. I had every intention of only eating a portion and saving some but it was too good. I ate the entire pie lol. The crust was light and had a good bite, slight crunch for crisp. The sausage added the perfect amount of salt. I was not disappointed and will def get this again if they're nearby.

Definitely the best pizza I've ever had in Los Angeles (by a longshot!) and in the top 3 of best pizza I've had in my life. From its perfectly light and crunchy crust to the gourmet and fresh ingredients, I could eat this every single day. The price point is right, too, and the employees are so nice! If you're a meat eater, don't miss the crisp pepperoni cups and crumbled sausage if you're a pizza lover, do NOT skip this place. Go right now. Thank me later!

Meat Lover's Pizza (half), Pepperoni (half)

Wood-fired artisanal pizza from a truck, who would've thunk it! But really, Vivace makes really, really good pizza. I tried the meat lover's pizza (but without sausage on my half, so essentially just a pepperoni) and it was sensational. The pepperoni was very flavorful and perfectly crispy yet hearty, the cheese and tomato were spot on, and the dough was thin yet soft and chewy. It was the perfect pairing with beer at Paperback Brewery (where the truck was parked today). Yum!

The melty cheesy, flavorful sauce and toppings against the crispy crust made it super delicious. The downside is the pizza gets cold by the time you eat a second slice and you just crave experiencing what you had earlier. It is a bit difficult to have an intimate private conversation because the acoustics of the room made the music and conversations around echo. But if you're looking for the louder party vibe it's great! Super friendly staff as well, would recommend if you're in the arts district.

Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. And, as native New Yorkers, we know our pizza! Strongly recommended! Can't wait to get another Sicilian pie in the near future with some toppings.

I finally went back and tried one of their vegan pastas I hadn't tried before, and there was meat in it (pancetta). I literally am feeling sick to my stomach--I'm pescatarian + non-dairy and stopped eating meat in 2013 so I'm sure you can imagine. The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part. Do not risk it if you are vegan.

For dessert, my friend ordered the Princess Cake. Fortunately she let me try a bite so I can say it was moist and delicious! I got the coconut cream pie which was lovely with some mango on top, and to go, I snagged a slice of the stone fruit "slab" - they literally took off the "sold out" sign at opening and I immediately told our server I wanted some to take home!
