I'm not usually a thick crust person, but I have to say--the crust here is beyond amazing. It's perfectly crunchy and light, not doughy at all (which I normally don't like). You have to try the white beans--oh my gosh, I'm still dreaming about them. I wasn't a huge fan of the thin crust pizza, but everything else more than made up for it. Definitely order the princess cake, and I loved the Little Gem salad too.

Ordered right at 2:30 PM on a Friday for a 6 PM pickup. I tried: + Half pepperoni / half red top Detroit-style pizza - the pepperoni half was particularly good + Whole Sicilian - also tasty + princess cake - perfect + brown sugar sprinkle cookie - excellent + chocolate chip cookie - good Nice to find some good pizza in LA!

This was my first time dining in here and the restaurant is pretty small, cute decor and workers are friendly. Pizza was good but not worth a long wait. We were able to make a reservation but the pizzas didn't blow us away and we usually love Detroit style pizza.

Quarter Sheets is a small pizza shop located in Echo Park that focuses on Detroit style pizza. The shop was founded in January 2022 and has received numerous accolades. Not only is this Chef Nancy Silverton's favorite pizzeria to eat at in LA ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpcYNdAZWE4 ), the shop was also ranked #15 on the LA Times 101 list in 2025 and has been on the list since 2022. The shop was recently selected as a James Beard Semifinalist for Outstanding Pastry Chef or Baker in 2026. [Parking]: Street parking only. I got really lucky and was able to find a street parking spot on Portia St. [Ordering]: There is a single walk-in & to-go waiting line for customers who want to order by the slice. Customers who made a reservation or placed an online order can skip the line and go directly to the takeout window. On the day of my visit, Princess Cake and Heidi's Grapefruit Tart (seasonal) were already sold out by 6:30 PM on Saturday. Once I placed my order, I waited about 10-15 minutes before receiving my pizza. [Dine-in reservation]: Bookings open at 9 AM two weeks in advance of a given date on Resy and a 10-minute grace period is given for all reservations. Walk-in dining is available and visitors are welcome to join the in-person waitlist. [Online order]: Online pre-orders (whole pies only) for same-day pickup open at 2:30 PM and the shop opens at 5 PM. [Atmosphere]: There are tabletops just outside the pizza shop so customers who order to-go can eat their pizza while standing. [Menu]: The menu is pretty straightforward. The top highlighted items per Yelp are Princess Cake, Red Top Pizza, and Sicilian Corner. *** Red Top (mozzarella, red sauce, grana & basil - $5.50 per slice): Crispy on the bottom and soft in the middle with a light touch of tomato sauce - great pizza. Sicilian Corner (QS sausage, Fresno chili, broccoli di ciccio, red sauce, mozz, pecorino, sesame crust - $8 per slice): It had a hint of toasty flavor from the sesame crust. It was a very saucy & spicier pizza with a crispy bottom. I liked this pizza a little better than Red Top. *** A solid 4.5-star on pizza, but I am not sure if Quarter Sheets' pizza is good enough to justify a 30+ minute wait.

Outstanding Detroit style pizza and wonderful desserts. Nice people too! Pizza came out fast and perfectly cooked.

Amazing. I will never question why restaurants are so booked up months in advance. Quarter sheets is no different. They were booked up but we got lucky and got a week day evening reservation. The walk in and to go lines were still pretty long and the tables were all taken. The parking was tight and limted around the restaurant but we got lucky with neighborhood street parking. The menu looked unassuming with plan names like house salad but the ingredients are so fresh and unique they make the dish heads and shoulders above its peers. I will definitely be back for more!

I was so excited to finally try Quarter Sheets, and it did not disappoint!! The place is ran like a well oiled machine! Our reservation was at 8pm, parking was still hard to find, but eventually you will find street parking. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted and seated immediately by a super friendly employee. Service was flawless and prompt, our server was great and helpful making suggestions. The place is cozy with about 8 tables, and a bar that can seat about 6 or 8 people, not sure. On certain days they have a bar pie menu(in addition to their regular menu), which is for full pies. They were busy in the restaurant, with to go orders, and people waiting outside. I never felt rushed, enjoyed every bit of the food and took dessert to go, which I ordered the minute I sat down to ensure they did not sell out!! Pizza was amazing, and the dessert Oh my......on another level, not much else to say!!

Possible but not easy to find parking. Long lines of people waiting to get pickup so don't wait in line if you have reservations! They have a pretty strict late policy I believe. This only speaks to what a non-pizza lover thinks. Mushroom pizza is my favorite of the three flavors I had, two others are pepperoni and a cheese one (don't recall the name). Citrusy mushroom is very refreshing for something as heavy as pizza. The Detroit style pizza is too much bread and too greasy for me. I can only speak for myself. As someone who doesn't loooove pizza, I'd prefer to just go to pizzeria sei and get their lamb pizza.

The best pizza, wine, and cake in Los Angeles. Been obsessed for years. This place is beyond! So in love.

I finally tried Quarter Sheets and it was worth the hype/wait!!! This this definitely a top 5 pizza spot it LA, every slice I tried was delicious and packed with its own unique flavor. The dough is so light and has a nice crunch too, but the sauce it where it is at (as it should be for any great pizza). The service is fast (if you're not waiting for a table). The ambiance was cute and cozy, but we didn't get to dine inside due to the wait and they don't take reservations either :/ 5/5 - Red Top: my personal favorite of the night, especially with the added ricotta on top, yum!

This place is good, not amazing, but pretty good. I'd go back if someone wanted to go, but not a favorite. I guess we got lucky and we're seated in about 10 minutes. Had I waited much longer than that it probably wouldn't have been worth it.

Detroit style pepperoni and turning leaf
    Peter C.

The pepperoni was great. But I wasn't expecting to have the best slice of pizza I've ever had with turning leaf. The flavor combination is inspired yet somehow classic. The dough tastes extremely premium and perfectly cooked. I believe it might be a sourdough crust, which is not what I would expect, but actually elevated experience. Was expecting an overhyped Echo Park hipster restaurant, but this place is absolutely legit.

Came on a Friday night 20 minutes before opening and we were seated right when they opened. We got four slices to share and one slice of princess cake. I've only had detroit style pizza a few times, so the crispy cheese around the sides is always a pleasant surprise. all the slices were good, but prefer super crispy pizzas. Red top (4/5): this was my favorite. i wish there was a little more sauce because detroit style has more dough. Polish riviera (3/5): i think there was so much cheese that it overpowered the potato and garlic cream. the only other flavor I got was the lemon. Princess cake (4/5): $14 for a slice! definitely pricey but worth the one time try. i really enjoyed the marzipan and the fresh cream in the cake. not a raspberry person but i could still appreciate the flavor. I didn't personally eat the other two, but my boyfriend ranks the pepperoni 3/5 and the Sicilian corner 4/5. This spot is cozy with table and bar seating. Definitely make a reservation if you can, but walk in works as well. When we arrived there was only one other party waiting in the walk in line, but by the time the restaurant opened, the line was super long!

The pistachio flavor struck first--not merely a taste, but a DECLARATION. Pure, unadulterated essence of Sicilian nuts, roasted to absolute perfection, ground into submission and transformed into something transcendent. The cream filling cascaded across my palate like a Mediterranean breeze, while subtle notes of butter created a symphony that left me defenseless! But the assault wasn't over. The black sesame cake sat before me, ominous and alluring like midnight itself. One bite, and suddenly I was falling through dimensions of flavor! The nutty, earthy depth of toasted sesame seeds wrapped around me like a silken robe, each layer revealing new secrets. Sweetness balanced perfectly against that characteristic bitter edge--yin and yang achieved in cake form! The texture? Impossibly moist, almost sinful in its richness. Finally, the berry pavlova delivered the knockout blow. Crisp meringue SHATTERED into a million crystalline fragments, giving way to clouds of cream and an explosion of berry compote that was simultaneously tart, sweet, and utterly devastating. A culinary arena where only the strongest taste buds survive!

I really wanted spaghetti and finding good pasta in LA, in my opinion, is difficult. So, I hit up Yelp and this place had stellar reviews. I tried to have my food delivered and while they came up on one of the platforms, it said unavailable. I called the restaurant and I was told they didn't offer delivery. So, I got in my car to get my grub. I parked at the Smart and Final and walked over (it's a close walk). There's ample free parking as street parking was not available. I decided on the spaghetti bolognese because they didn't have a spaghetti with marinara. I wanted meatballs so I got a side of three. Please note that the menu does not indicate the meatballs are tiny so when I saw 9 on the menu, I asked if I could just have 3. At that point I should have been advised they were tiny and I would have taken all 9. The pasta, as you can see, doesn't look appetizing but at least it tasted decent. Would I return for this dish? Absolutely not. I will note that many of the reviews pertained to the vodka sauce pasta. I may consider giving them a re-do but just to try the vodka pasta. The meatballs were excellent, by the way, but I wouldn't be surprised if they came from a bag in the freezer. The pasta did not come with garlic bread so I got a side of that too. Their garlic bread wasn't bad but it reminded me of those frozen loaves you can buy and pop in the oven yourself. Not exactly what I was expecting from a place with these types of rave reviews. Now for the kicker....when I was placing my order, I noticed they had the equipment for Grubhub. I asked the guy taking my order whether they offered delivery and he said, yes, through an app but it's very expensive. I told him I had just called and was told no delivery is offered! He responded he hadn't answered the phone and deferred to who did. Wait for it....that guy told me they do not offer delivery because a real person isn't making the delivery! Grubhub DOES use real people and it's a food DELIVERY app! ‍ Needless to say, I was irritated I had to drive myself to get subpar food. This is definitely not a yummy in your tummy place and I'd tread with caution if you're relying on the reviews before trekking over. Notably, the place was pretty full at 4 p.m. on a weekday. There is indoor and outdoor seating but the place is pretty small.
