Do NOT Trust Bernache Autobody I honestly don't even know where to start with how bad my experience was with Bernache Autobody. It's been almost six months since I took my truck there for repairs after hitting a deer, and I'm still finding issues that they caused. In fact, they've caused more damage to my truck than the deer did! Here's the situation: I hit a deer while driving at 40 mph. The only damage was a dented front bumper and some broken plastic in the grill. I continued driving my truck for weeks after, and then went through my insurance to get it repaired at Bernache. After about three weeks, I finally got my truck back--and it was an absolute disaster. The bumper was crooked, they used zip ties to fasten the wheel wells, the headlight wiring was just hanging underneath the truck, the fog lights were crooked and nonfunctional, and there were missing bolts and nuts throughout the front of the truck. This was not professional work; it looked like a child had put it together. Naturally, I sent the truck back. After another week, I got it back, and the problems only got worse. The headlights were now full of water (they claimed it was because the insurance provided cheap ones) and the daytime running lights were flickering. To top it off, my truck threw an engine code related to the radiator louver--a part they had touched. So, back to the shop it went. ....My truck is relatively new and had been in immaculate condition before the collision. After the third time I got it back, I realized they had replaced several front grill pieces with cheap aftermarket parts, which weren't even damaged in the collision. It felt like they were just trying to cut corners at every turn. Frankly, I feel like they're scamming people. The work they did is subpar at best, and I can't imagine how many other customers have left that shop thinking their vehicles were repaired by professionals, only to find out they were hastily thrown together with zip ties and inferior parts. I would not trust Bernache Autobody with any vehicle. If you care about your car or truck, go somewhere else. read more

I had to get my car repaired and they kept me in the loop from the start to the finish. They answered any questions I had and even helped to return the rental car for me. They were able to put my car into the shop within 24 hours. read more

I used Bernatche because of their ratings and reputation. Had a small dent in my front passenger door and a scrape on the handle. They would have it done in a week....it took 12 days, and when I picked it up, there were paint bubbles on the door, and the handle had not been replaced. They apologized, said they needed it for a half day....it took them the whole day, and I still had to wait past closing for them to finish it. A few days later, a light cover from the inside of the door just fell off. The clips for the cover had been broken, and someone at the shop attached some gummy adhesive to keep the cover in place, rather than replacing the cover and letting me know about it. I contacted Tony by email twice about it....no response. The cover is a small thing, but the deception shows a lack of integrity. I will not use them again. read more

I got lucky coming across Bernatche Auto Body. I stopped in for an estimate after a bad day, as happens when you have a dumb accident and smash your car. They were so kind and helpful, finding me the best option to fix my car and keep the cost down. The work they did was solid and fast. I can't say enough good things about this place and the staff! They treat you like family. I took my "new" used car there for a second opinion on a cut in the paint and some scrapes along the underside of the door. Not only did they do a thorough assessment and give me an estimate, but they also gave the car a once over and gave me their opinion (which I trusted). Needless to say, I bought the car and took it right back to them to get the side door fixed and repainted.You would not be able to tell the difference (and it was a satin pearl white color-not easy to match with all of the shades out there these days!) After an accident I was referred to Bernatche by people I trust. Nobody has eyes as sharp as these guys. They pointed out structural damage in my Honda Hybrid that the claim adjuster hadn't even noticed but agreed with in the end. This all happened a few days before I was about to move out of state for good so they did all the repairs in less than half the allotted time. I've known Tony (the owner) for several years, but only have had the need for his services a couple of time. The first time was when I purchased a used car with a cosmetic issue with the dashboard.
