I initially tried to book yesterday and there was some confusion about availability, the nail tech I was asking about, and the design I had shown them. I was trying to communicate that I wasn't necessarily requesting that exact design or that specific nail tech -- I was showing the photo more as a reference for the quality/style of nails I was looking for. Unfortunately, that didn't really come across, and there were several back-and-forth conversations about my appointment. I was eventually told to come in today at 11:10, which I understood to mean there would be time for the type of set I wanted. I drove over excited for my appointment, only to find out that I actually wasn't in the system. That was definitely frustrating, especially after all the communication the day before. Thankfully, they were still able to work me in, which I really appreciated because I had an event to get ready for. The nail tech who ended up doing my nails was initially a little impatient when I was being particular about the details, so that took a couple points off for me. However, by the end of the appointment, he definitely made up for it. He was able to get my nails done and the overall design came out nice. I'd give the design itself around a 7/10 -- it came out a little darker than I originally envisioned, but I also think I could have done a better job communicating what I wanted and suggesting alternatives. I'm currently getting my toes done as well, and I'm glad they were able to accommodate me and still get me out in time for my event. Overall, the booking/communication experience definitely needs improvement, but the staff was able to make things right, my nails look good, and I'm leaving satisfied. She did square with the corners slightly round. UGH. When she said she was finished, I asked aren't you going to trim my cuticles and she looked annoyed and started on them (not softly). I had to apply an antibiotic to one finger, and it took 3 days to heal. There was a lot of white material under the nails, and I asked about getting it off, she said I had to do a better job of washing! Never got my hands massaged or oiled. I booked a last minute pedicure and manicure appointment through ClassPass. I booked the…read moreappointments 45 minutes before hand. I showed up at 10:15 for a 10:30 appointment. When I showed up, the owner warmly greeted me. She was doing a manicure on a client. I informed her I had just booked an appointment through ClassPass. I was told not to book two appointments at a time as it is confusing. I was asked if I could wait about 30-45 minutes because it was only two individuals working. Both individuals had clients. I informed the owner of my timeline, and she said it was possible. Once the owner finished with the client, she took me for my no polish manicure. I apparently have a lot of skin. She took her time to remove the excess skins, but I was cut. The owner did my pedicure and removed my calluses (she said ooh after feeling my calluses LOL. Unlike most places who use a throwaway plastic to align the foot bath, that is not the case there. My toe nails looked good. I had to cut some of the service out as I had a time crunch. If you have the time required, it's a good place to get a manicure and pedicure. If I am in the area, I would go back minus the small cuts. I would also bring my own manicure set to use.

I called the salon instead and spoke with someone at the front desk. The interaction felt awkward and difficult--whether it was a communication issue or a language barrier, the process was not smooth. We eventually handled everything over text. I sent a video showing the exact hairstyle I wanted and was told they could recreate it. Throughout this process, I was repeatedly pushed to add services like manicures, pedicures, and hair coloring, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by the same person I had spoken with earlier. The check-in was technically fine, but the atmosphere felt cold and mechanical rather than welcoming. I was then assigned to a stylist. Almost immediately, I realized they were working from a different reference video and a different hairstyle than the one I had sent. No one showed it to me or asked for my approval--they just started working. They didn't ask if my hair was clean or prep it properly (no conditioning or sleeking), which resulted in many visible flyaways and a rougher look. Both the salom owner and the stylist were working on my hair at the same time, openly arguing about how to do the style and essentially experimenting on me. I was even told that neither of them really specializes in updos, but they wanted to "try" this one. After several attempts and continued back-and-forth between them, I finally had to intervene and say that I only wanted one person working on my hair. That moment was deeply uncomfortable. The owner looked at me aggressively, pinched my arm twice, and said, "Okay, I understand, okay, I understand." She then gathered all the products she had brought--various holding sprays and texture sprays--and removed them so the stylist couldn't use them. Later, she brought them back selectively, maintaining control from the sidelines. It felt tense, unprofessional, and invasive. Although the stylist continued, the owner kept hovering and interjecting. At no point did anyone ask for my feedback--no "Do you like this?" or "Is this what you wanted?" They simply continued in their own direction. The final result looked like a bunch of hair pinned at the back of my head. I paid and left, but once I got home, I took it all out because I truly didn't like it. It didn't make me feel confident, and that's the whole point of getting your hair done. Overall, I felt unheard, uncomfortable, and treated more like a transaction than a client. The experience lacked communication, professionalism, and care. The owner either needs to trust her stylists to do their jobs or become properly trained herself. As it stands, the environment feels chaotic and controlling, and it's not a place I would return to or recommend ever. Price was $120 just for the updo.
