Awesome bubble tea and snack place in Brighton! They have really cute decor inside and booths that I enjoyed sitting at eating some popcorn chicken. I missed Vivi's, so I ordered thru Yelp, and my order said it would take 30-50 minutes, which didn't seem too bad considering all the deliveries. It only took 20 minutes from the time I ordered to get the contactless delivery at my house! Super quick and super easy to order right off of Yelp! I ordered 3 drinks 3Q milk tea, taro creme brulee, and passionfruit yakult. The pudding in the 3Q milk tea is sweet and adds the best flavoring to the milk tea. For the taro creme brulee, I really enjoyed the cream at the top, but wasn't too much of a fan of the taro bits and wished it was a taro flavored milk tea instead. The passionfruit yakult is SUPER sweet and I added in jelly, which was definitely a perfect addition to these fruit drinks. Highly recommend and will be ordering more bubble tea soon! read more

The taro creme brulee (get it with pudding!) is so darn good. Crunchy bits of brulee, the pudding gives it a nice creme brulee feel, taro bits, and perfectly sweet! The takoyaki (4 for $5) was amazingly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. With 2-3 pieces of octopus in each ball I was in heaven. Service is fast and friendly. The space is clean with tons of outlets and seating. Music is good and not too loud. This place is right at Brighton Center, near the library, and open late. read more

Wish I could give zero stars! I ordered delivery and under milk tea it says "includes tapioca." Well mine didn't come with tapioca! Also specifically asked for them to add it or call if it wasn't included by default just to make sure. Fix your ordering system or fix your brains. read more

Brought my coworker here and she really liked it. I got salt + pepper chicken & she got spicy. Honestly, flavor-wise, they were kind of similar. Finally it's open and it's the only bubble tea in the Brighton center. Waited after the soft opening to come and I've been waiting anxiously to come here to try it. I had tried the one in Quincy and it's pretty good so I expect this to be up to par. Seems like they are still in training mode with the staffs . They are very pleasant and nice , the decor was a little Contemporary with a few tables and window counter seats . So I decided To go with the most popular drink which is the Vivi milk tea with chia seeds, herbal jelly and red beans as additional charges for .50 each . I usually prefer less ice and less sugar. I also tried the spicy popcorn chicken which was hot and crunchy with some kick to it. It's a good little snacks to go along with the bubble tea drink . So far this new location did not disappointed me. Next time I'll try their new attractive drinks that flashing on the menu screen and posted outside the store window. I'm glad that they picked this location since there's none around Brighton center and they also open til 2AM. That's surprisingly late for a bubble tea place. I would say that the owner did an excellent job overseeing and training their staffs to cater to this community. read more

My favorite thing about this place is that it's open until really late. The decor is super cute and makes it a great place to just hang out with friends, especially late at night when literally everywhere else is closed. The drinks is really mediocre compared with other bubble tea places I've tried. The waitress there was so cold and not welcoming at all. We waited there for 2 minutes and she didn't even talked to us and was really impatient when I asked something about the menu. The shop looks cute but the service was horrible. Yummy!!! Everything is so good here! We always get the apps (wings, takoyaki, popcorn chicken, and sausages) and they never disappoint. The bubble tea is flavorful and best of all- consistent!!!! I did get a few of their fancier drinks before and found some of them unnecessarily complicated- foam doesn't really add to the flavor.... Amazing tea but absolutely rude service. I was ordering tea and apparently didn't speak up loudly enough as I was wearing a mask and distanced due to covid. The cashier was extremely rude and disrespectful. Instead of asking me to repeat my order, she rudely dismissed me with impatience and attitude, "I can barely hear you." This is a great little bubble tea place with some appetizers you would not really find anywhere else. Keep in mind if you don't like your fruit teas too sweet, just ask for no sugar! It's already super sweet. My faves are the Special Fruit Tea and the popcorn chicken. read more

Got the popcorn chicken, oolong milk tea, brown sugar milk tea, and 3 macaroons. To start off with, I typically used to default to 50% sugar when ordering milk teas while living on the west coast and found that to be just fine. I've been asking for full sugar for most of my orders in Boston because it just tastes too diluted otherwise. Even with full sugar, it's like either the tea isn't as strong or whatever milk they (talking about general boba places, not this one in particular) use is mostly water. Not sure if that's an east coast thing or if I've just had bad luck but it was really surprising the first few times! This is the case with Vivi, too. I ask for full sugar and it still seems too watery/diluted no matter the ice content. The popcorn chicken though was great. Nice flavor, not too salty, goes well with ranch, enough for two meals for me. No complaints there. Macarons were good. Different than the ones I've typically had where the filling was harder/thicker. The filling here is more airy, sort of like a light whipped frosting. It seeped out the sides which made for some messy eating. Tastes great though. read more

This has been one of my favorite spots for ever. Staff is friendly, prices are good, they have a variety of options and atmosphere is extremely cute. I have never had a bad experience here. I highly recommend the salt and Pepper popcorn chicken that is always one of my must haves, along with the takpoyaki and one of my new favorite is the herbal jelly. Vivi in the Quincy location used to be my favorite when I was still in the area. Excited for them to finally be in my new neighborhood! This one is cleaner, more chic, and they open until 2am. The Vivi signature fruit tea is definitely my favorite. They have ice jelly, chia seeds, and small cut up pieces of fruits. Surprisingly they don't use the same literal reward system as the one in Quincy. So you can't use the same reward card you get from Brighton to be applied to the drinks you get in Quincy. read more

The customer service is absolutely terrible. The lady with the pink hair is the rudest person I have ever witnessed working in customer service. Tried the Lychee Oolong tea with tapioca beads, then went back to taste the popcorn chicken and takoyaki. Everyone was pleasant, kind and prompt. The entire process was delightful, from ordering to pick up--gazing at the decor provided me my dose of adorableness for the day. The chicken was beyond delicious, although it seemed like the nuggets were mostly dark meat--the flavoring and spices were impeccable. None of the pieces were fatty or unedible, unlike what you get sometimes from other chicken places. The takoyaki was a new experience, but the balls were flavorful and tasty.
