This is a good tea place. Loads of fruit tea options, which is what I like best in an iced tea. My favorite is the apple. It has bits of apple that has been soaked in sweetness. Came on a Friday evening. Got a osmanthus honey tea and a lavender milk tea. Both were unimpressive: the lavender milk tea tasted too watered down. To make matters worse, they didn't have any black tapioca! The employees offered the weekend only dragon fruit tapioca. The dragon fruit tapioca was surprisingly decent. Especially compared to Gongcha, which also offers dragon fruit flavored tapioca. I was still disappointed by the lack of regular black tapioca when it wasn't even close to closing time. The interior is crowded. And there was only one stool to sit on for customers while they wait. But there's plenty of places to sit outside. read more

Very cute boba shop with a friendly staff. I opted to get a classic brown sugar milk tea that comes with boba. The boba was definitely fresh as it was still warm at the bottom of my cup (I got the cold version). The boba was cooked perfectly, which was great. The milk tea was also not too sweet. read more

I've been wanting to try Ten One Tea House for a while now, & today was my lucky day! I was hanging out at Arsenal Yards in Watertown and saw that there was literally a Ten One Tea House located here... I was STOKED! They have self ordering kiosks , two of them, which are perfect if you have ApplePay or pay by tap. We were not sure what to try, so we asked the staff member for recommendations. Brown sugar milk tea is their #1 best seller! We decided to get three Lahr brown sugar milk teas with boba, whole milk, & less ice. Since the sugar is fixed for this drink, we were not able to ask for % less sugar. Thoughts: The boba was yummy! It was also still hot. Had a nice chew & was the star of this drink! The milk tea on the other hand was mid. I also think that this drink tastes way better unmixed. Once I mixed it, I found myself tired of drinking it. Boba 10/10, the actual drink itself, 6/10. This was my second time trying milk tea here, and I was impressed this time! I ordered the Matcha Latte, and it was absolutely delicious. The sweetness level was spot on, just as I requested. They use organic milk and the matcha tasted high quality. The service was quick, making the overall experience even better. I had a very unpleasant experience here. Two staff members were present but they didn't take my order even though both of them clearly saw me. I didn't realize there was a kiosk (they didn't tell me to use the kiosk either...), so I waited for quite some time just standing there. But the moment I started ordering at the kiosk after I finally figured it out they immediately took the order of the customers after me. The service felt careless and disrespectful, almost as if customers are treated differently. This kind of service really ruins the experience. read more

I've tried countless boba places, from local to chain businesses. Out of the many places, TenOne has one of the best drinks when it comes to freshness and quality. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea with boba, and this has been the best brown sugar milk tea out of all the other chains. If I could, I would rate TenOne a 4.5/5 stars, but I had to settle for 4 stars. The only reason I did not give this a 5 stars is that the drinks are quite pricey, with my drink being $7.96. I am aware bubble tea has been inflating the past couple years, but $8 seems quite a lot. Besides that, everything from the milk tea and the tapioca is very fresh and well prepared. Not to mention, the service was excellent, and took less then 5 minutes for our drinks to come out. The store is well lit and has a great ambiance to it. I for sure recommend this place if you are around the area. Definitely not a drink to get every day, but for a treat once in a while. read more

There can be a dozen people by the time I get there, and I'm still always surprised how fast they make mine. They're way faster than the other locations closer to and in Boston. I like how they will remake your drink if you notice something with your order. It doesn't feel like just their policy, it's clear they're super accommodating and friendly. We put in an order on the tablet and waited for over 20 minutes and when I checked in with them to see if our drinks were coming soon, they said we were still third in line. Each order also seemed to have multiple drinks. They were clearly overwhelmed with orders and couldn't keep up. You could tell they were stressed. I asked to just have my order cancelled because I was going to be late to pick up my kids, and she said she didn't think she was able to cancel orders. So I just told them to skip my order. But money and time wasted. Would appreciate a heads up in the future if there's an extended wait. When putting in the order there weren't many people in the store, but apparently there were a lot of online pick up orders or people who put in an order and then left to pick up later. Felt bad for the staff since it seemed like they were working hard. Everyone was already ordering on the tablet only, two people making drinks, both didn't seem very experienced - one often had to refer back to a chart to make a drink. However, they do make their drinks quickly and they encourage customers to use the kiosk. No bathrooms. Ten one's tieguanyin milk tea may be my *favorite* tea in the US. It's hard to find solid milk tea in the greater Boston area, so my husband and I drive 45 mins just to stock up on milk tea each week. The staff is so incredibly nice and the teas are always consistently good. read more

tbh, their brown sugar fresh milk tea is the best i've ever had. and i've drank A LOT of milk tea. it's the right amount of sweetness and the boba is a perfect texture. i also love that you can get it decaf. this one drink alone deserves 5 stars. i'll have to try their fruit flavors next time. read more

I'm so happy this tea house opened in Watertown! I love the idea of mixing fresh juices with tea. I tried the grapefruit and green tea and it was fantastic. It was really easy to order on the iPad and the one guy working there was super fast and efficient. I just wish that they opened earlier instead of 12. I am sure people going to workout at rumble, f45 or at any of the nearby gyms would frequent in the morning for a healthy tea drink if they opened earlier on some days. read more

I am checking the progress of my order (it's 35 min after I placed it) and it still shows up as simply "order confirmed." I tried calling--twice--and nobody picks up. There is no way to leave voicemail, there is no confirmation that the number I dialed is actually Ten One Arsenal Yards. Where is my order? I ordered in advance on purpose because my friend is picking up and is on a tight schedule. Please have better customer service. Thank you. read more
