Few minutes later when she puts the new color on, she asks me the same questions again. Once again I said "no thank you" she continues to do her work and she's so distracted at whoever walks through the door -- and then she goes "can you wait here for 5 minutes? My customer came in" -- like what excuse me?....finish what you started aka my nails. So whatever she leaves and comes back and only does two layers of dip powder. And then she kept filing down my nails. I told her to stop but she kept filing them down..nails look horrible. I got a light color and light colors require multiple dips NOT to where you basically see my nail. I should have NOT gone and just kept my natural nails. Btw: she asked me 2 other times if I wanted pedicure and my eyebrows. I said, "no thank you" I went in for dip powder and was TERRIBLE... -Length was too short -- didn't ask for this short. Remind you that I walked in with stiletto shaped nails and it's not what I walked out with. -Didn't ask for almond shape -Two dips = too thin I'm not going here there's no recovery so now I have to wait for my nails to grow. Their branding is also very polished; you'll notice it everywhere, even on the technicians' aprons. When I signed in, I told the receptionist I just needed a fill-in and that I thought I had Gel X. She explained the difference between Gel X and builder gel, and we confirmed that I indeed had Gel X. My original nail tech asked about the color I wanted and seemed excited to match a similar shade. But once she realized I had Gel X, she told me there was no way to do a fill-in and that the entire set would have to be removed and redone. She explained her reasoning, which I understood. I agreed in theory, but I let her know I was on a time crunch and had to leave within an hour. If I had more time, I would've been open to removing the set and starting over. Unfortunately, she kept repeating that she wasn't doing it and became visibly frustrated: huffing and puffing and making the situation bigger than it needed to be. It was uncalled for because she kinda mean! She made a situation that was small into something HUGE! Thankfully, Anna and Aaron (the owner/manager) stepped in. Aaron demonstrated how the fill-in could be done while Anna and the other tech watched. Anna then took over and completed my nails, and they looked amazing. I'm really grateful to Anna and Aaron for actually listening to what I was asking for and working with me instead of immediately dismissing my request. Their professionalism made all the difference.

Customer service in the beginning was good but declined when they messed up my nails. First let me say that I always get my nails short and I've had fills before. I have never in my life dealt with this. They asked if I wanted it cut down and I did but not like this. She cut the nails from the bottom first. I have never seen them cut soo much nail at the bottom for a fill but everybody is different so okay. She then broke a few and just starting going to town on my nails. Then she cut the top to match where she broke the nails. She started drilling more and cut me. I asked her if she had something to stop the bleeding she grabs something and puts it on there. It can't get worse right. Wrong!!! She then proceeds to lay the acrylic on my nails. Now I know what regular acrylic and a dip is. She did regular on my nails and they came out super thick. They said they had to put white on top to alter the color because I wanted it to be green instead of what it was. So before she put the white, I told her that it looked too thick and messy. She said it was that way because I wanted it short. Excuse meee!! Nobody asked for it to be this short. I just wanted them slightly trimmed because they had grew a little. Then she started conversing with someone else who works there. Then she cuts them down to make them thinner and files them more and cuts me again on my other hand. I started bleeding again and she tries to stop the bleeding. At this point I'm just ready to go because I'm not about to go back and forth with someone who keeps saying that my nails came out this way because I wanted them short. When she finished I had polish all over my hands, cuts, they were uneven, bulky all over again, spotty in certain areas, and they are just atrocious so I asked her to just take them down because I don't have the time. Also I told her if she couldn't do it or didn't know how it was fine for her to have said she couldn't do it but don't do this to peoples nails. So she calls someone else over and they are saying they can fix it. She already butchered my nails and cut it all the way down how can you fix this. So the lady is like if you want us to take them off you have to pay for the first service and for us to take them down. I'm not doing that. I legit vocalized every step of the way and she cut me multiple times. Plus it still came out like this. The only thing the other woman did was sit me down to square them up more cause clearly that was the only thing she saw wrong. I then took a phone call and was expressing what happened and she kept talking into my conversation about how it was because I wanted them short and dipped. I took a picture of the business license because I one hundred percent am going to complain. 0/10 I can't say whether or not to go there but I can only say what my experience was less than an hour ago. My work requires I have short nails which was one of the biggest bummers given I've done long, design packed, nails my whole life, but, Annabella has completely changed that limiting reality for me when she showed me short nails can be just as great. The health of my natural nails goes without mention. Sometimes I can't even believe it myself. I look back and thank god that I have to transition out of long nails because they were DESTROYING the integrity of my naturals. My nail beds have grown significantly and overall, it's a lot less maintenance to have short nails. I've attached photos of some of my favorites she's done for me and now I'm itching for a new set (though I love my current). 10/10 recommend Annabella. She is so thorough, trustworthy, talented, and sanitary.

My fingers were in pain, and it felt like the nails were lifting or separating. I called the next day and spoke with Samantha to explain the issue. I asked if I could come in to have two nails fixed and the set filed down because they were unusually thick (I've had Gel-X many times before and never experienced this). She told me to come in, but when I arrived, she dismissed my concerns and said it was "just the glue settling" and that nothing was wrong. Despite clearly seeing how thick the nails were, she didn't offer to fix them. By the very next day, the nails started coming off. I called again and asked for the set to be redone since the issue was clearly due to the application, but they refused. This is unacceptable, Gel-X sets typically last me at least 3-4 weeks, not just a few days. I ended up going to another salon to have them redone, and even that technician commented on how poorly the original set had been done. Overall, this salon showed no accountability and no respect for my time or money. I would not return.

So if you don't have an appointment, choose your time wisely!! Mimi is guilty of putting you in a pedicure chair till she is finished with another customer, or having someone else start and she finishes!! The salon is clean and they make sure to clean the pedicure chairs in between clients!! They sanitize their equipment in between every client. The prices are very affordable and in the almost 10 years I have been going there, the price of a pedicure has only gone up $1 or $2!! Mimi is very good at hand designs!! I was able to walk in here without an appointment which I appreciated very much. I finished my gel mani pedi in about an hour and a half, the pedicure prep was fine but for the mani cure, my cuticles weren't cut and my nails weren't very buffed. That became evident when all of the gel came off of my thumbnail the next day. I came back in and got it fixed for free but in the process of fixing it, the manucurist put my whole hand under the uv which made two other nails start to peel. A ten minute fix turned into a good 45 and I got it fixed two days ago and my polish is starting to lift again. $80 dollars for my gel to last two days is crazy.I need to find somewhere with builder gel.
