This place is nasty and dirty. The don't use covers for the pedicure tubs. After a customer got down getting her calluses removed, the employee did two sprays of Clorox cleaner and briefly wiped out the tub. I will never go back here. read more

Very, very rude manager /owner. I don't know her name but she always wears her hair up in a bun. My first visit was very pleasant with Tammy but she's always booked and I get why. Unfortunately the other times I've attempted to go, I get stuck with the rude and nasty one. I let her do my nails once and was very unsatisfied with her work and service. She acts as if I needed her and she didn't need me and therefore I should accept whatever she does for me. I went back hoping to see Tammy and was told Tammy could do my nails, but it turned out she couldn't and they pushed Ms. nasty who always seems to be available on me; I refused to let her touch my nails and told her in the nicest way that, if Tammy was not available, I wouldn't want to proceed & she just flat out said to me, don't come back here again. Who says that to customers especially when they are not causing any problems. That lead me to posting this review. She has a very NASTY attitude. My nails last the longest they've EVER lasted! This is impressive because I'm in healthcare so I'm pretty hard on my nails. My natural nails are also longer than they've ever been. The colors can be different between dip and regular polish, but the techs all work to make the best match possible. The shop is very clean and all staff are friendly and helpful. I have been wanting to go here for quite some time and finally glad I made it in today and got a pedicure (my husband made it in before me and raved how great they are). I visited Pinky Nails & Spa with a friend of mine last weekend, and I had a good experience. We had reservations (pedicure for her, dip manicure for me), but they weren't quite ready for us when we got there. They seated my friend at a pedicure chair and began her pedicure, but they were really kind and let me sit next to her until someone was ready to do my dip manicure. My manicure was good; the nail technician listed and got the shape just right (lately I feel like everyone makes my nails look too sharp when what I really want is a old-fashioned oval shape). I don't like in Columbia, so I'd to have to really love a place to drive this far regularly for a mani or pedi, but my experience here was good and I would go back. read more

I was meeting friends in Columbia, but a tad bit too early and I found this place to be very close to where we were meeting. It was much needed as I had missed my nail appointment earlier in the week. I walked in around 9:30 am and was greeted by a woman who was servicing another client. I needed a gel manicure with the old polish removed. I was seated and serviced quickly. My nail tech sits in the far right corner. She was extremely careful and patient while doing my nails. She offered me water, checked to make sure I was ok with the color I picked, and even double checked her work. She gave me the best hand massage which came with a hot towel. There weren't any prices listed anywhere and I didn't ask upfront because my nails were tore up and they needed some love and care. The gel manicure came out to be $30 which is pretty reasonable. The place was really clean, I even user the restroom and that was clean also. I would stop by again if ever in the neighborhood. read more

I don't know if it's a manufacturer error or the salons misnumbering (numbers were written on a sticker on the jar). The owner accused me of being too picky and refused to recommend another color to better match. In the end, I spent an hour and 15 minutes in the salon only for them to remove my previous polish because they could not achieve even a close match. I came to Pinky's because my normal salon had a long wait, and I needed my nails done desperately! I did matte black with a pop of gold shimmer on the ring finger. I told the lady it was a special weekend for me and i didn't want to be rushed. I called the salon to make an appointment and she said there was a spot for me to come in. I told her it was a special occasion for me and dont want to be rushed during my appointment. I had driven by this place many times and finally decided to go one Saturday morning. Little busy but I was attended to and sat down within 10mins. Place was really nice and clean ! My tech (I unfortunately didn't get her name) was very friendly, small talk pleasantries and all that. She made sure the length I wanted wasn't too long and that they matched lengths on both hands. I'm a first time customer. I was a bit skeptical of men doing acrylic nails because they never turned out good and they had a high charge. So the technician was an older gentleman who started to work on my manicure. I asked him for an oval shaped acrylic refill. When he was done shaping them, they were several uneven sizes. So I asked him if he could change it into a coffin shape if he could. He spent extra time trying to make sure these nails they not too thick or too long, which is what I wanted. when my nails were finished I was shocked and in love with them. The only problem I had was feeling pain when he was filing the acrylic down and he didn't not apply a base coat. Other than that he great, I would highly recommend to acrylics. read more

I was looking for a nail salon near home and based on mostly good reviews, booked a mani pedi with a recommended tech (let's call her TechX). I booked a gel pedi because it was snowing outside and it dries fast (didn't want to wear flip flops). I opted for a gel manicure, too, after being assured that it would last much longer. TechX did ok with the pedicure, but when we were at the manicure station, she spent more time talking to the other techs then paying attention to what she was doing with my nails ... and it was obvious the next day when four of the nails had chipped (I had done nothing to cause the damage). I called the salon and they told me to come in and they would make it right. When I got there they wanted TechX to do the repair. I refused, and said someone else could remove all the gel and I did not want it redone. They agreed and were very accommodating. Because they were so gracious about the repair, I booked another appointment several days ago on their website, selecting an open slot with the repair tech. At 7:30pm before my next day 4:30pm appointment, I got a text that my tech was not available and for me to call them. I responded, asking that they schedule me with anyone except TechX and provided my phone number. I did not get a response. Pinky Salon: if you can't manage online booking, don't use it. If you can't honor an appointment, call the customer to rebook instead of asking them to call you (and you could have at least responded to my text). I wanted to give you another chance, but there are other salons that hopefully are more professional. read more

Nana and Tina are good at what they do and they're very nice and courteous. Other than that that place is really not a good spot to go to the owners. Not a clean filing job, very rushed, the polish wasn't done very nicely.

It was ok. My daughter and I enjoyed our pedicures and they were accommodating with the additional services I asked for. However, the place was very dirty. There was thick dust on some parts of the store, the bedding in the wax room was dirty, the massage chairs were dingy, and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the pedicure baths and tools. They also rushed my daughter's French manicure and the white tips are wavy and there is only a strip of polish on her nails. She won't complain but I know she's disappointed in how her nails look. read more

Nana is a hidden gem. This used to be my favorite place. Today I went in. Spoke to Nana and asked if the person i booked the appoint with told her want i needed? She told me to talk to the owner/manager who said she was the one who booked my appointment. The lady then went on to tell me that they couldn't do the nail design I wanted because of the flower. I said okay that's fine what kind of flower can you do? She said a simple flower I said okay do you have a picture? She said no we can't do that flower we could do a simple flower. I said okay I'm willing to work with you. I will accept a simple flower I'm fine with that I just want to get my nails done. I'm here because I love nana. She then told me that Nana would be the one doing to designs. I told her that Nana told me personally that she does not do designs. The lady ended up telling me that Nana does the best designs there and when I told her Nana said she doesn't do designs the lady told me that Nana's told her she doesn't do designs. So then I went back to the point out that I said when I called I told her I needed two people want to do the designs and Nana to do the rest of the work. She then told me that they don't even do that. So I asked why would you not say that when you booked my appointment? She rolled her eyes at me so then I proceeded to ask her was that just to get me through the door to get money? But then I asked why would you not want to do the designs on my nails for more money? So then she said well Nana can do your pedicure and you can go somewhere else for the rest of your nails. So by then she started to annoy me and the man came out. They started getting a little loud with me so I got slightly loud with them and said they were not running business correctly and I'm not understanding why they are not trying to cooperate with me this is a customer service business. They didn't said you can shut us down we're asking to leave and you can never come back. I said okay fine and I walked out. Went to report them to the Better Business Bureau and lo and behold they're not even registered with them. So now they are being investigated. All I wanted was to get my nails done for my birthday. The salon needs a little cleaning and a good wipe down. The massage chair works but the nail polish were absolutely very old. Service was nice but the nail tech cannot speak nor comprehend english so communication was difficult. Also, the biggest no-no was the unhygienic tools. I wish I could have given this place a zero. I came in June 8th my birthday. We came at 7 and they closed at 8. The technician made an error with one of my nails and instead of starting over on that toe she sanded it down and polished over the top and broke the bond of the gel polish. The service was $55 and I paid $65. The next day the polished came off the toe nail and I went back to get my toe nail repaired which I didn't have a problem with. When I walked in the door before I could say anything the tech that sits right right at the front counter was like do you have an appointment and I said no. She was like we are busy and can u come back and I said no. She said well we are busy. I told her I need someone to look at my nail because my polish came off and I just got my toe nails done here. She started laughing like it was a joke. Very rude! When she started laughing I was so irritated and asked her what she thought was funny. The Male tech the only one in there came up to me and said u will have to wait and now I just feel as though my money isn't good enough for a repair at this point. I have a tech taunting me and she's steadily laughing while he's trying to work something out with me. This lady is pure evil. He starts telling me to stop raising my voice while he's raising his. I finally said can I get a refund and he said it doesn't work like that and told me to get out of the salon. I left out and my Mom was in the car. I told her when I asked for a refund I was put out. She went back in and spoke with the Man and he apologized for yelling and asked my Mom to tell me to come back in to repair my toe nails. This place sucks. They do an okay job but they are greedy as heck. I do my own designs because most places can't do anything that I want so I went in two days ago and got them done which I have multiple times before ( they do an okay job nothing to write home about also not worth the attitude!) at this place and the nail tech starts shaking his head and gave me a nasty attitude saying we have to replace half of them and I was confused and asked why. He said because I used superglue, but I only used super glue on 3 of nails so I stated that. I totally understand that if your nail breaks and you glue it back on it needs to be replaced because a fungus will form. He said no we need to replace more which was annoying bc I know how many nails broke. He goes on saying it's not about money! Multiple times he repeated it so I responded by saying okay it's not about money for me either it's not that expensive to replace nails but I know how many I broke. Then he asks if I do my own nails and I said sometimes so then he was nasty and says well we don't like to do nails for people that do their own bc we don't like to mix. I can understand that but I've been going to them for the past couple months and I already spoke to the lady about how I do them sometimes and she had no issue with it and on top of that I wasn't doing them myself during that time I had been going there so the set was their set. So we got into a little bit of argument and I said that's fine I won't be coming back and he said that's probably best. So the next day 3 nails break in the same hour and they were all the nails that he replaced. I call them and they say he told you that you needed a new set because they are old. He never said that once he said we needed to replace half of them not that we should do a full set and on top of that they are not old they did a new set for me themselves a month and a half ago. So when it comes down to it they are all about money and rude as hell. They offered no refund or no new set. DO NOT GO HERE. Nice, quick service. I get acrylics from Tuan all the time. He is very quick, careful and good at any shape. Tammy is my back up person if he is out of town and she is also good and very sweet. The prices are very reasonable as well. If you are the type that likes lots of designs or anything super intricate they don't do much of that here. read more

What a wonderful experience! I just dropped in here because it is located close to my home... but they have a new loyal customer for sure! Upon entering, It isn't flashy like some salons, but don't let that turn you away. I was made to feel completely at ease right away. Tuan was so professional, as was the demeanor of the whole salon. I had been told to try something at a different salon that literally almost wrecked my nails. Tuan carefully and painstakingly removed what had been done and returned my nails to a healthy condition. It took a lot of work, yet he did not charge me any extra. Other things I appreciated: nail techs were not carrying on loud conversations across the room from each other, were not eating or paying bills while working on my nails. Everyone seemed friendly. There was a brochure with a menu of services... my last place did not ever have one so I had to keep asking what they offered and how much things cost. Pinky's did not have their techs do a hard sell on their customers and I felt like they truly cared about me and wanted my business. Finally, I also appreciated that they let you add a tip to your credit card purchase... much more convenient. Please know that they changed ownership a couple years ago, but yelp does not let them remove former reviews. Tim is wonderful!!! I have gotten my pink and white solar nails done by him and only him for over three no close to four yrs and he's never done a bad job! I love the nails every time! He's so worth my drive 30 minutes and setting appointments. I love the no top coat just buff and my nails always look amazing! I can go between 3and 4 weeks in between.
