Short nail girl here!! NAIL TECHNICIAN: Annabella I have been getting my nails done by Annabella for so long now and they NEVER EVER disappoint. My work requires I have short nails which was one of the biggest bummers given I've done long, design packed, nails my whole life, but, Annabella has completely changed that limiting reality for me when she showed me short nails can be just as great. The health of my natural nails goes without mention. Sometimes I can't even believe it myself. I look back and thank god that I have to transition out of long nails because they were DESTROYING the integrity of my naturals. My nail beds have grown significantly and overall, it's a lot less maintenance to have short nails. I've attached photos of some of my favorites she's done for me and now I'm itching for a new set (though I love my current). 10/10 recommend Annabella. I had a really disappointing experience at this nail salon and would not recommend it. I got Gel-X nails done by Annabella, and almost immediately when I got home something felt wrong. My fingers were in pain, and it felt like the nails were lifting or separating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called the next day and spoke with Samantha to explain the issue. I asked if I could come in to have two nails fixed and the set filed down because they were unusually thick[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (I've had Gel-X many times before and never experienced this). [[HIGHLIGHT]]She told me to come in, but when I arrived, she dismissed my concerns and said it was "just the glue settling" and that nothing was wrong. Despite clearly seeing how thick the nails were, she didn't offer to fix them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] By the very next day, the nails started coming off. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called again and asked for the set to be redone since the issue was clearly due to the application, but they refused.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is unacceptable, Gel-X sets typically last me at least 3-4 weeks, not just a few days. I ended up going to another salon to have them redone, and even that technician commented on how poorly the original set had been done. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, this salon showed no accountability and no respect for my time or money.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would not return. read more

Had a pretty good experience at Katie's. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone was super friendly and they were accommodating to what I wanted for the most part.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My nails turned out great (not like the picture I wanted) but they still looked cute. Very great service! Top quality work, I've had my nails in for 3 weeks going on a month and no chip in sight. I'm due to return later this week. The space itself is very clean and the technicians are professional as I didn't have to wait at all even though I was 5 minutes early. I've gotten my nails done here over 4 times now and I cannot say enough good things about the service. The salon itself is very clean, and makes me feel comfortable. I've seen them sanitize stations/pedicure chairs between clients and consistently change out tools to prevent any sort of cross contamination between clients. The owner and staff are all attentive and knowledgeable at completing manicures and pedicures, even with outlandish designs. The pricing is reasonable and the amount of care each client is given is spectacular and I have yet to see or experience leaving disappointed or dissatisfied with my service. I've gotten acrylic and aprés, and had no problems with either. Elijah does an amazing pedicure and is gentle throughout the entire service. I can't say enough good things about Amanda and Mya, who create some awesome designs and have no problem replicating various designs off pinterest or instagram. Overall, I will be back and continue to use them for my nail services, as well as recommend them to all my friends and family. read more
