Nail places have gotten a little ridiculous price wise, I know, BUT they told me on the phone that a full set starts at 50. I get there & they tell me it's 50 for the set + 5 for the length (which wasn't long AT ALL) + 5 because I wanted 2 colors + 10 because one of those colors is flat black. I just moved to surprise in November and in that time I've visited this establishment probably 6 times. The pedicure or manicure itself is always good (that's why I'm giving any stars) but the owner is so mean to both her employees and customers (unless she's working directly with the customer which is appointment only for her). The entire time I'm having my nails done the owner screams from the front of the shop to the back at her employees. It ruins the relaxing environment and Cleary makes the employees uncomfortable as they begin whispering anytime she yells. Anyways, my sister and I waited 45 minutes a few days ago for a pedicure. We ended up leaving because the owner was so extremely rude to us. Our feet were put In water that was cold it was extremely busy so I tried to get someone's attention to warm it and the owner heard and said "we don't soak until you're ready for the pedicure cause you'll wrinkle". I reply"Ok but I have water and it's cold" "yeah we have a method we know what we are doing" so I remove my feet as cold water isn't pleasant. She walks by and yells "seriously NOW you don't want to soak?!" I again explained that the water is cold that we've been in water for 20 minutes. She laughed and walked away. Finally 20 minutes later still no pedicure (which Normally is fine but we weren't told about the wait) we decide to leave to which she yells again "we just wasted water on you this is why we don't soak customers till they're ready for the service" for a THIRD TIME I tell her we didn't ask for water just for warmer water. She doesn't listen and we leave. Never going back. It's a shame because otherwise it's clean and friendly but the owner is terrible read more

The front/waiting area is super cramped. The whole place once you sit down for a service is really nice set up. But once my nail tech came up to me, immediately said "how do you want your nails". No how are you just straight to the point. But afterwards I asked her how she was doing, she was rude and would just stare at me. I was given the nail colors and she was demanding my hand. I asked if I could look for a nail color first and she rolled her eyes and I know she was talking shit about me to the man next her. She also had me get up to get the nail color for her. And the cherry on top was when she sneezed twice without turning her head or at least covering her damn nose. She did do a good job on my nails but she could work on her customer service skills. I was there on Feb 1st, 2025 around 2pm. After reading a lot of the reviews for this place, I've seen the same thing about customer service. I usually go to a friend that has her own nail business that doesn't nickel and dime you on everything but since I moved I no longer get to go to her. I did say something the first time I felt the guy scrape my ankle and he said, " sorry ", but then kept using the purple sponge looking thing. I have a total of 5 scrapes/ scratches because of him. My first thought when I walked in as a new customer was "danggg, this place is nice!" I'm glad it was pretty so that I had something nice to look at while I sat there waiting for 30 minutes past my appointment time. They did an adequate job but I'll still stick to my regular salon and use this place as backup. The edges of my nails could have been cleaner. They were also supposed to be square but they came out pretty rounded. As far as colors go, their gel selection is fantastic but I get the sns/dip manicure and they had maybe half the selection as the salon I usually go to. Another wonderful experience today with my girls for Mother's Day. We made a reservation two weeks ago to make sure we could get in and we were seated right away. Thank goodness for that because by 11 the lime was outside. We all knew exactly what we wanted and they all came out even better than I envisioned. It's been 3 years since my last review, time flies. I have lived in a few states since my last review receiving services from other salons. I can say this salon does a great job with powder, acrylic, and gel. I don't have a specific tech, they all do a great job. Even with new management the atmosphere and techs are all the same. The waiting area is small because they try and seat you immediately, even if they are super busy. You may be moved around depending on the service requested and the tech that becomes available quickest. If you have issues with your nails (breaking, bubbles, chips, etc) they are happy to resolve any issues. The prices have recently increased due to "COVID". It appears to be 15% across the board. read more

We had appointments today. I was scheduled to get a pedicure, soak off my acrylics and get a regular manicure. My pedicure was fine, no complaints, which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. They didn't soak my acrylics off during my pedicure which is nice when other salons offer that. It's definitely a time saver. So after my pedicure they sit me at a station to start soaking. After 15 minutes sitting there I look around and my tech is now doing a pedicure. After a few more minutes a new tech, I assume is the owner, told me she would finish my service. I told her I just wanted them soaked off and a manicure, no polish. She drilled down some of the melting acrylic and told me to soak for only 7 more minutes, 15 minutes later she came back to drill it down more and told me only 3 more minutes. By that point she left a paper towel there I grabbed it and started wiping away the goo of melted acrylic. She came back after another 15 minutes when I told her I was done. I no longer wanted the manicure. Just get me out of there. She had the nerve to tell me my cuticles were very dry. I said "well yeah my hands were drenched in acetone for an hour, what else should they look like?!" I left with acrylic still on my nail beds, charged the 10 bucks for soaking off. Acrylic is all over my fingers and palms. And there was no apology from them. Instead it was my fault because the acrylic held on too tight to my nails. I should've been filed more than twice in a 1 hour period. Note for the owner: if you guys are so concerned about time, that you are double booking clients then you really should have some time saving steps in place. Soak off the nails during the pedicures. This saves you time, and the clients. We won't be returning. read more

I don't know why I keep coming here. Would zero star if I could. I have been hurt the last four times I have been here. I'm not normally one to complain but it doesn't seem to matter which technician I get I leave with a torn cuticle (ironic) or a blister. Additionally they really don't seem to care how your nails turn out. I'm color blind and I can't just show them a picture of what I want nor do they care to help me with the colors.
