I felt as though I was being "upsold" and being forced to commit to a surgery date so I would be able to take advantage of a "bundled" discount but i would have to pay 20% down and schedule surgery that day. I informed her staff I wanted it a second opinion because this was a very big deal to me. Her staff still continued to push and I just had all kinds of red flags along with my own intuition that something isn't right. Additionally I was told she (Dr Ho) is not comfortable just doing a mid face lift she recommended a brow lift, neck lift, and deep plane facelift basically a complete overhaul for almost 40k. Always get a second opinion. Exercise caution because there is an upsell component in this practice and a push to schedule the surgery same day as consult with 20% down. This is a red flag

No suggestions for an in person consultation. If I look so "extremely" uneven, wouldn't you at least want to try to help me? Photos are limited for evaluation. Also, I just mentioned what one doctor suggested years ago. Obviously I don't believe that what was mentioned then is still what I need. I just finished medical school and honestly, I'm still so peeved and hurt by this unprofessional encounter I felt the need to write. Having a congenital eye disorder results in a lot of insecurities, and having a sensitive bedside manner is really important when helping potential patients. I felt awful about myself after this encounter and stopped seeking help for some time...I just hope whoever wrote that email has learned to be more sensitive towards vulnerable patients.
