Outdoor chairs on Baltimore street really make for nice people watching. Tables are on the Ellwood side.

A great spot for a latte, a pastry (or a breakfast sandwich if you're really hungry), and some people watching. The team works really hard here, 7 days a week. You can get table service, even outside, on a weekday morning. Lots of laptops mid-morning, but everyone seemed to be aware of each other and it still manages to feel cozy. Looking forward to seeing this place succeed and keep me caffeinated for many more years.

I stopped into Vivian's and had such a great experience from start to finish. I ordered a Cortado and a Red Eye, both priced at $5. The cortado was smooth and balanced. The red eye had the perfect kick, plus they offer free refills on drip coffee, which is such a nice bonus if you're planning to sit and relax or get some work done. For food, I tried Lox sandwich ($15). The pickled egg salad added amazing acidity, they were very generous with the smoked salmon, and the everything croissant was buttery, flaky, and savory. This is easily one of the best lox sandwiches I've had. I also ordered the Cold Cut Italian ($16), which was also very good. They were generous with the salami and ham, and I liked the touch of oil and vinegar which just enough without making the ciabatta soggy. Personally, I would switch out the provolone since I could barely taste it, but overall it was still good. It comes with a side salad or chips. I chose the salad, and while it was small, the vinaigrette was delicious. To end my meal, I had the Presidio cocktail, which I had before and enjoyed. It has gin, blackberry syrup, rosemary, lime, and luxardo maraschino. It's light, refreshing, and beautifully balanced. It would be even better with a Luxardo cherry added, but still a great drink. Service was friendly, there was plenty of seating, and the space was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Vivian's is definitely worth a visit, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

First off I have to say, our server was the sweetest lady in the entire world and made our visit there 100x better! She continued to give us recommendations on food and drinks which was very much appreciated. The food was amazing, we obviously had to try one of each happy hour option, I think my favorite was the pigs in a blanket. My friend and I got the table right by the front, I love that the have the big window to let in the light and had the different option of seating.

Love the space. Small and intimate

Had the lovely opportunity to taste their new menu items and I was not disappointed. The drinks and food was delicious. The roasted rooted vegetables and yogurt dill sauce was the star of the show. I can't wait to order a platter of that. Everyone was very friendly and I met new people who i hope to link up with soon. It's a small restaurant. Somewhere I would go for carryout but have a nice cocktail or two while I wait. I can't wait til the new items are on the menu

Amazing! Chef Bobby and Miranda are culinary geniuses! We had delicious deviled eggs, breakfast flatbread and cinnamon rolls.

And instead of being on an everything bagel it's on an everything croissant.

Their menu is huge and everything I've tried was stellar. Their al pastor, whether packed into a taco, chalupa, or sope, is amazing as many have pointed out. As much as I love tacos, I've been a big fan of the tortas and cemitas lately, which are massive sandwiches and are VERY filling. The ricas aguas, horchata, and licuados I've ordered were all fantastic as well, huge sizes and very refreshing. I also recommend the tinga quesadillas - they're not like any other quesadilla I've had, with very thick corn tortillas and what seems like oaxaca cheese. Super delicious. The complaints about long delivery times are true. I usually order an hour ahead. That said, I think their service is great! Most recently the driver forgot my drinks. He rolled down his window, apologized, and zoomed off to get them. He was back in 10 minutes with a complimentary dessert, which wasn't necessary since it was no big deal, but nonetheless very nice of him. It's not the cheapest good Mexican food in the area, nor the fastest, nor does it have any hip frills - but it's darn good food with tons of options, large portions, and they've certainly earned their place as a neighborhood favorite.
