Josh McDonough, operations manager, contacted me soon after the initial review went live. He had read the review and understood the reasons for my dissatisfaction. He and Dustin Roskam, service support lead, arrived today to make come changes to the setup about which I had complained. When they were through, I had what I had expected in the first place: simultaneous sound through the soundbar and through my hearing aids, when allows my wife and me to watch TV at the same time. Normally, I wouldn't give a 5-star review for a second attempt at delivering what was promised initially, but Josh and Dustin's professionalism won me over.

So now I've paid them to cancel the account AND the account had been reopened and they expect me to pay $30 a month. This is the absolute worst company. Now, for the past week including today, the panel date is stuck on 6:06 PM August 10, 2024. Today is August 17, 2024. The time is currently 12:10PM. I despise calling this company about anything related to the equipment and service. So here I go again. I have to be in a certain frame of mind to call them. It always put a damper on my day. And now is not the time. Especially after my last encounter with them. YELP should include ZEROs for ratings. So sick of this company and I'm stuck in a multi-year contract unless I'm able to afford to buy out of the contract at some point. I'm going to work on making that a priority. I received a receipt for returning the router and was told to call Comcast billing for any potential refunds for paying through February. I haven't gotten that far yet. I always thought refunds were processed at service centers, but maybe I'm recalling wrong. All in all, not a poor experience, just a little odd. A renovation would do this place wonders.
