Aside from respectfully keeping our voices low in the locker room near treatment rooms being used by other guests, we were able to laugh and toast to our hearts' content. On that note, the staff was so accommodating with a table for the snacks we brought, a tub with ice for our drinks, and generally all the coordination that it took to pull this off. They made it as easy as possible. And on the day-of, Denise was a particularly gracious host -- welcoming us and even patiently/considerately snapping a group photo from multiple angles (at our request, to be clear - haha). Making the appointment through Vagaro was easy, walked me through a thorough intake form, and allowed me to choose my esthetician. I went with Allegra who was a darling from the minute I stepped into Dermaspace. Any worries or fears quickly drifted off given the dim lighting, chill music and zen ambiance. Allegra had a sweet personality, explained the entire process from start to finish, was knowledgeable about anything related to skincare and health, and most importantly, gentle. The facial was around an hour and fifteen minutes, including a discussion of my skin concerns, allergies, goals, etc. It consisted of roughly four total steps: 1) Gentle facial cleansing and exfoliation 2) Moisturization and detoxification using yucca soaked cloth within a volcanic heated cone 3) Deep cleaning of my entire face, clearing out any and all clogged pores 4) Ionization facial wrap of nourishing cotton with a leather mask connected to low voltage electrical current in order to ionize the solution. Afterwards, my face felt completely refreshed and as if years were taken off. There is a reason it has won the best facial in Seattle/PNW for many years--the treatment is truly results driven and very effective. I plan to be back soon.
