The salon is on the smaller side but very clean and inviting. Three of us got gel x full sets and one got a regular gel manicure. The experience was very soothing, and the technicians were gentle and checked in frequently to ensure the length and colors were to our liking. Most places (unless they are high end, or located in yaletown or something), the service is usually rushed, and their motive seems to be to just get the job done quickly and move on to the next customer. So I really have no issue with the service here. What I'm disappointed about is how long (or short should I say) my nails lasted. It's only been 3 days and my nails already started cracking and the nail polish starting peeling off. Usually shellac lasts for 2 weeks minimum. It's only been THREE days! I paid $80 including tips to get his done, and it only lasted me a few days. I could have bought a regular nail polish at shoppers, and did them myself, and it would even last longer than these 'professionally' done nails. Really a disappointment, especially having paid almost a hundred bucks for these. Will definitely not recommend.
