They were very responsive and flexible as a couple of us decided to change our minds for what we wanted. When we arrived, there was parking readily available, and the technicians were waiting for us. The salon is on the smaller side but very clean and inviting. Three of us got gel x full sets and one got a regular gel manicure. The experience was very soothing, and the technicians were gentle and checked in frequently to ensure the length and colors were to our liking. We were visiting from out of town but I'm looking forward to the next time I come to the Richmond area because I will for sure book another appointment!

During my last visit, I had an appointment with Britley. I specifically told her to make sure my white tips were done properly so they would not come off, and I also asked for proper cuticle cleaning. Unfortunately, the work was poorly done, and not even a week later my tips are already coming off. I paid around $250 for a manicure and pedicure, and while money was not the issue, I expected quality service for what I paid. I had previously told Lilly that I preferred a more senior technician since Hayden had been moved to the downtown location. When I called back today asking them to fix the issue, they gave me an appointment with Hayden, who apparently is back now. However, when I tried calling again for over an hour to change the appointment time, the staff repeatedly hung up on me (which has happened before). Eventually someone answered, I politely asked if I could change the time, and they immediately hung up and blocked my number. This level of customer service is extremely rude and unprofessional. I have also personally witnessed staff mocking customers behind their backs, and it feels like they clearly have favourite clients while treating others poorly. After being a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed. The environment feels toxic, and the way customers are treated is unacceptable.

I went to this shop on Aug 11 and had Cindy. I had acrylic tops with gel polish that had grown out…read moreand I asked her to remove the overlay. She used her wand until it got so hot I had to ask her to turn it down. When I arrived at the shop my nails were long and hard and healthy under the acrylic. Cindy ground my nails down to the point that they are sore, thin and are ripping off in the quick of my nails on 6 fingers. The clear polish she put on has flaked off as it had no surface to stick to. When she was using her Dremel, she knicked a big chunk out of one of the nails and then told me she would have to cut them short. I didn't want them to be super short, but they ended up being that way because of her error. I went back to the nail shop to ask for a refund I was told in no uncertain terms they wont refund because they did take the nails cover off and that I should just file them all off and then I could put on new acrylic tips which I don't want and I'm not paying for. I am completely disappointed in the service in this place. I now cannot do anything with the nails until they rip off causing me pain and I will have to wait until they regrow in a few months. Meanwhile, they look horrific and they hurt. I have worn acrylic nails for years and I'm aware that they can damage the nail bed when removed but I have never ever had nails look like this after removal. The lady at the shop said my body must've changed and it's my fault the nails are so thin. I do not recommend this shop at all.
