I've been here quiet a few times only because I got a gift card.. coffee is really bitter and the flavor is just not there. Best iced americano on South Hill! The staff is friendly and makes an effort to get to know you. Drive through can be a bit slow at times, but they do their best to speed it up by sending someone out to take orders in advance. This place is clean, cute shop, friendly staff but for some reason none of their drinks that aren't coffee such as redbulls and Italian sodas taste like they should. Hands down the best coffee in ALL of Puyallup/South Hill. They home make their sauces and their coffee is amazing everytime. I have found that so many coffee places are inconsistent but not this one. Staff is always friendly and they have probably the coziest inside setting with big chairs, a couch but also practical with various table sizes. I ordered a chai tea latte once and I had to throw it out. The barista bragged about their home made chai from the moment I ordered it and I was expecting something extremely delicious. I was very disappointed when I tasted the actual latte. I almost went back to get a refund, that's how bad it tasted. I really like this place and their coffee and customer service has gotten A LOT better in the last 6 months. But. They have GOT to figure out their drive up better. This is consistently the slowest coffee drive up I have ever been to. When I come here I just prepare myself to have to sit for a while. I don't know if they're heating things up that shouldn't be sold through the drive up- or even if that's the case, maybe have people pull to a front parking spot and run it out? First time trying volcano coffee. I'm a big foot regular by heart, but wanted to give volcano a try since they are right next to our home. I didn't get coffee I got a coconut and red bull drink and it was not the best. The coconut flavoring was really good, but for the size of drink you get the pricing was a bit much. Will be going back to at least try the coffee. read more

I don't understand why the wait is so long here. This morning I sat behind the same three cars for over 15 minutes. I've never had to wait this long at any other coffee stand. Previously under the Forza brand, this shop has now been upgraded! They now have homemade vanilla syrup for their lattes, which is outstanding. They have also developed their own Chai tea recipe and it is smashing in their Marsala Chai Latte. Their new blend from Dillano's (same roaster!) is slightly better than Forza's espresso blend that they previously served. I will definitely be going back, as they have reinvigorated a coffee shop that I already enjoyed. read more

This place is very spacious inside! They have two couches and plenty of sitting space. They also have free wifi and many milk alternatives! They have soy coconut and almond milk! I was super excited for that. Not even Starbucks carries almond milk. I got an iced 12oz almond milk latte. It was only 3.50!!!! Sounds good to me. Also there are flyers hung up for a coffee and paint night. I wish they were painting something beside baby groot from guardians of the galaxy lol. I would definitely be there! Although I am sure there are plenty of people that would be excited for that! It's 40$ for the materials and a free drink. I will be back, the service was great! I told her that it was my first time and she gave me some good tips. Some of their flavors are homemade which is awesome! I love supporting local companies like that. LOVE their coffee better then Starbucks, customer service could be better. But I go for the coffee. I also hate how they kind of give you no choice to not tip lol. I'm so lucky to live near Volcano Coffee so that I can stop by before work (sometimes with my hubby) or after church (sometimes with my kids). The staff are all so nice & attentive. The drinks are tasty & wonderful. They make their own peanut butter sauce/syrup and masala chai spices. With that, I always order a chai tea latte or coconut peanut butter latte. They are very comparable in price to other coffee shops (even the more common ones...I don't like to name names coz this review is about Volcano Coffee), but everyone else pale in comparison to the quality that Volcano Coffee provides. Giving me a receipt with tips already printed on it, in increments of a dollar, on a three dollar and some change drink is not okay. I went twice to this location for coffee thru the drive thru and both times took forever. The second time I went I was with my three month old and he started to cry so I didn't appreciate the long wait. Took over ten minutes and there was only 2 cars in front of me. I had the opportunity to try Volcano Coffee for a second time, and found myself needing to add a star to my previous review. The ownership of this establishment is great, and they really care about impressing their customers to keep them coming back. I also had a chance to see the inside of this little coffee shop, and found it very relaxing and well decorated. I love the Washington national park maps on the walls. Another plus for this little coffee shop is the fact that they make their own syrup. Just more proof that they care about doing things at a higher level.
