Stopped by for a quick iced Americano. Place is was empty but it was not morning. Nice greeting from the barista. Ordered my drink and it was only $4.35, a fair price. Was asked, "do you want an extra shot? It's free shot Friday" and gladly accepted. Express was not bitter not rich and smooth either. Drunk was pure expresso and ice and would have preferred a touch of cold water added. Place is better than Starbucks though!!! read more

I wish I had taken a picture of the sausage egg and cheese ciabatta that I just devoured before thinking to post it. But my experience today at this location was 10/10. It's 1/2/24 and I don't know who was working but she was the sweetest, friendliest young gal and she made a great soy latte! She was helpful and knowledgeable and one of those people who just have a positive energy. I loved her! I know this used to be a forza and I did frequent it often and honestly I am happy that not much has changed with the rebranding. The spot is large, warm and welcoming. The bathroom was very clean. There are tons of drink and food items options which is why I went inside to see the food case and decide on what I sure was the best breakfast option. I've been needing to find a new cafe with good drinks and food options after CANCELING SBUX and I am so glad I found it. And it's very close to me!! I've been going to the classic coffee in Lakewood for over 14 years as I loved the express detailing but now with that under construction and the UP location closer, coupled with the excellent customer service and delicious/many food options I just became loyal to this location. I didn't want coffee and they didn't have matcha (menu is somewhat limited), so I got a smoothie. It was tasty but did freeze me out with it's iciness on a cold day. What wasn't icy though was the service. And pricing wasn't too bad either -- about $5 for a decent size. Bottom line: Good service. The first thing I'll say is I LOVE their coffee. BUT I have a huge issue with consistency. Each time I come here I order the same exact drink and each time I am charged a different amount. I've ignored it because it's a discrepancy of less than a dollar- until today. I ordered two iced 12oz quad shot espressos with white chocolate. Nice place, used to be a Forza and is now apparently something else. Barista was nice offering suggestions; however, I took away a star for what I think is a really good health reason. We had gotten our drinks and we're sitting talking while one of the worker's little boy of about 3 or 4 wandered around. That was fine until he opened the refrigerated case with all the bakery and other items inside and proceeded to put his hands over many of the items in the case. Some were covered with plastic, others not. Who knows where that young man's hands had been and none of the other workers paid any attention to him so he continued. They make a nice latte and the beans they stock for grinding at home are excellent. The ladies behind the bar have good energy and will happily fix something if you aren't happy with it. My most favorite espresso place around. There's something about the coffee they use. It's simply wonderful.

Once upon a time, there used to be many Forza's in this town. Now, they are a rare species. I was so excited to discover there was one left within driving distance. This Forza still uses the same brand of bean and roaster, which makes their americanos rich and delicious. The coffee frappes are amazing. They taste like coffee and ice cream and not like those nasty sweetened chemical frappes from the green mermaid place. The paninis and donuts are great. I've worked here many long days, and into the night. The staff and owner are always friendly and upbeat. It is a popular place and it can be hard to snag a table large enough to work at. You'll often find many regulars pushing two small tables together for their meetups. If you like good coffee, this is the place to be! read more

Forza is just down the road from my significant other, so I guess you could consider this our local spot. The coffee is decent. I would say this is on the 2nd tier of coffee-dom, with the likes of Valhalla, Bluebeard being the first tier. This is a solid cup of coffee. They also have breakfast burritos and panini sandwich things. I've only had a couple, but they were good. When I don't want to make the trek to 6th for Bluebeard or Valhalla, Forze more than fits the bill. read more

This spot has been one of my favorite coffee spots. It seems with the name change (from Forza to Classic Coffee) they misplaced their customer service. Today, my daughter and I walked in. There were 4 people working behind the bar. Not one greeted us. We stood at the counter for a bit and watched staff Interact with 2 customers who were seated at the end of the bar before leaving. Classic Coffee bought Forza in University Place and changed much of what made Forza great. Same coffee distributor, Dillano's but very different coffee blend. Not the Forza blend. You can definitely taste the difference! Forza used Ghirradelli chocolate powder and Classic Coffee uses something different. Even the pastries have changed. Its too bad because I was willing to drive out of my way for great coffee. Disappointing! The coffee is great! My favorite place to get coffee. The only constant problem I gave there is the baristas confusing a 16 oz drink with a 20oz. I order 20oz frappes all the time. They literally make it in a 16 oz cup and then try to argue with me that a 16oz cup is a 20oz cup. This happens every other time I go. I have literally gave them the coffee back and said let me see the 16oz cup then. They said they were wrong and made a 20oz only a few times. Most of the time, they will argue and say it's a 20oz when in fact it is only a 16oz. read more

So I order a breakfast burrito and a coffee at 8:17am. The girl gives me my coffee and asks me to pull around back to their pick up area for the burrito. 20 minutes go by and still no burrito. I walk inside and she looks at me and says, "oh yeah, the burrito". She then asks the other girl to put one on for her. I explain to her that I have 2 kids in the car that need to get to school and to just cancel the order. She proceeds to get an attitude with me like it's my fault, finally completes the refund in between making drinks and then slams the receipt down at me onto the counter without saying a word. I'll chalk it up that maybe it was a bad time of the month for her, but learn a little customer service, especially when it was YOUR FAULT. This establishment not only lost my personal business, but also my corporate business. You never know who you may be waiting on any given day...oh well, coffee stands are dime a dozen. We come here often to write. The staff and owner are all kind, welcoming and helpful. Their coffee is fresh and a damn sight better than a certain coffee chain that will take your bucks (get it? winkwinknudgenudgeknowwhatimeanknowwhatimean?). The only drawback is that ironically because the owner is so welcoming, we often find ourselves in the in the midst of one community group meeting or another, which tend to be loud in such a small place and create an atmosphere too distracting to work in. But in addition to all the other perks, they're open long hours, and they don't lose their friendliness no mtter what time of day you're there whether it's first thing in the morning or a minute before closing. read more

I believe this store and the 2700 Bridgeport store are the original Forzas in this fast growing chain. I was in Seattle a few months ago and saw a Forza in the U District - wow! Because this is one of the original stores, and I'm guessing it is still company owned (as opposed to franchised), you will find very consistent, high quality drinks. As a semi-regular to this branch for over 8 years, I can hardly think of a time when I've had bad service. You will find a small selection of the average coffee shop fare here - cookies, small sandwiches, bagels, etc. They're fine if you need a bite with your caffeine, but not worth a special stop. Lots of specialty (aka foofy) drinks here if you like frappacinos and those types of drinks. Better than the other independent coffee spots in the area. read more

What happened? I know you guys changed your name but the coffee is terrible. I went to get my usual caramel macchiato and instead I got all sugar and barely any coffee.
