My family and I eat here at least 2 a month. The food is great whether we get a takeout order or dine in. I have tried numerous of their rolls and have enjoyed them all. Even when they are extremely busy the wait isn't too long. read more

When we entered the restaurant it was quiet and calm. I think we got there just before the lunch rush. But I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and flexibility with seating. I will say as of service it was neither great or bad. She was kind but didn't feel like she was very attentive. Now overall I enjoyed the sushi and thought it was well balanced. Now the Chicken Karage was definitely the best ones I've ever had and highly recommend. I ended it off with a strawberry crepe cake which was light and sweet exactly what I needed. This used to be a quick, relaxing, well priced, stop, after church services, after work, or when out running errands. A good place to meet up with friends... We have been a little disappointed the last couple of times, with cleanliness and quality of food, but this time was a real let down. It is May, and they still have Christmas decorations on doors and windows that have obviously not been cleaned. It is no longer sparkling clean, but visibly unkept, so we chose to sit on the patio. There was a huge bird's nest over the door as you go out to the patio, and birds flying through, sitting on tables, and perched above head... with droppings on everything. The entire area was filled with bits of food and trash, and the planters had nothong but rocks and weeds, growing in them. The service was incredibly lack luster and no effort put forth. We had a very long wait for our food, and when it came out, it was... nasty! Seemed like it was made prior, not done with any kind of attention to freshness or quality. The fish and seafood were dried out, the portions were much smaller, and the rolls were dried up shriveled peices, that were very obviously not just made. The Tempura was overly breaded and undercooked and was haphazardly cut. Pride in the art, or presentation was NOT, applied here. We will never again recommend this establishment, and will be going elsewhere from now on. I just hope the health dept. does not catch this, or that no one gets food poisoning. read more

First time at this location. We had only been to the Moore location but they were not open due to a fire on re-opening night. However it had been months since we had our Volcano and we couldn't wait any longer. The decor was much more modern and upscale than Moore. Okay so there's the only difference! Service...so great! As usual! Menu...same Food...incredible! Did we order our usual with a couple tries? Of course! Did the hubs and I stop eating when we were full? Silly rabbit, we aren't quitters! Always get the crab stick appetizer, you won't regret it. Our go-to roll is the Double Crunch and Lucky Lady. I'm not a raw fish girl but the hubs and oldest kiddo are. Before coming to this Volcano Sushi Bar, I have been to the one in Moore, OK. I loved it! So when I came in my expectations were pretty high and let me tell you, WOW. They did not disappoint. We were in a rush to eat, but the waitresses were so nice. They tried to get us in and out so we were not late for work. We started out with miso soup. It came out hot within minutes of ordering. Then we order the empire and fire dragon role. The empire roll was fried topped with salmon. The fire dragon contained salmon and topped with scallops. They were amazing. I would recommend those or knockout if you want something a bit spicy. Definitely worth trying. And their bathrooms -- wow !!!! They were cleaned and well kept. read more

I come here very often with my good friend. Food is great but the service is absolutely awful at this specific Volcano Sushi location. Our server yelled across the patio asking us for our drinks last time we went, then took forever to take our order. Eventually our food came out and nobody came to check on us even once. Then they proceeded to rush us out by bringing the checks out super early and didn't ask us if we wanted togo boxes. They charged us for the wrong things and messed up splitting the ticket 3 times in a row even though it was only a party of 2. Surprisingly upsetting considering we are weekly regulars. We have been going here for about a year now, and the food has been consistently good. But our visit last week was awesome. We ordered the salmon sushi, yellow tail sushi, tuna sushi, unagi sushi, mackerel sushi and a salmon skin roll. Everything we ordered was so fresh and amazing. Better then it ever was before.
