After taking umpteen videos and photos and sending them to the various companies and lots of phone calls, only G&R cut out all the back and forths and came out to check out the install requirements in person. Juan was terrific, understood everything i needed and got the info back to the main office for a quote which came out cheaper, but not alarmingly cheaper, than what the competition had quoted me. Scheduled for a week later when Juan (with some help from Ramon) completed the install quickly with a clean install and exactly how we discussed. Couldn't be happier and they'll definitely be my first and only call for electric work moving forward.

The technician installed a light for me and also helped troubleshoot another issue I was having. He was honest and thorough in explaining what needed to be done, which I valued. The repair ended up being more involved, so I asked for a quote -- but it came in much higher than I was willing to do day of. I ended up getting a second quote that was about half the price, so I decided to go with another company for that portion of the work. That said, I really appreciated the technician's time, professionalism, and honesty. Just wish the pricing had been more competitive.

He answered all of my questions and e-mailed a detailed, written quote a few minutes later. When I was ready to move forward, they put me on the schedule for the next business day. On the day of the job, Eddie and Ricky arrived on time. When they got started, they noticed a critical safety issue: the main line installed by the previous homeowner was not up to code, and it was a safety hazard. They gave me an updated quote, which I accepted, to replace the main line as part of the job. The work was done in a couple of hours, and SDG&E replaced my meter the same day. Scheduling and payment were easy. I paid by credit card, and they e-mailed a receipt a few minutes later. I would happily work with SRP Electric again.

When I sent them a question regarding the job they bid they stated they would not work my project because I canceled an appt due to work. Won't answer questions. They don't give you the bid with the permitted price. This was a job that is suppose to be permitted. I wouldn't do an electrical install without a permit. They should be pulling permits on jobs that need them without the owner requesting. I had to request a permit to be added. The original job did not come with a permit. So they applied for the permit without even knowing if they could run the line and do the job. They sent me messages continuously about moving forward and I told them their price was excessive. Why don't they put the whole thread of the text messages in of me asking about adding a permit and them repeatedly asking if I was ready. My response of why is their pricing so excessive. Double for the same exact work from multiple other licensed co tractors. Read their reviews of trying to price gauge people

Gave me some excellent tips to pass on to Bert my very experienced handyman. I can easily recommend Ochoa Electric to anyone. And, they are pretty darn good on RVs as well having worked on other RVs in my Park. My problem started 2 days before their arrival. I have a very experienced RV repairman (Bert). He told me I needed to have a Licensed Electrician to check out my electrical problem (that is one of the things about Bert I love...he is not ashamed to tell me when I need to hire a pro). They understood everything I shared with them about how my electrical problem unfolded and what Bert thought we needed to check. They went to work checking out everything I showed them and what Bert told me to pass on. They found the problem. It was a simple problem of loose connection(s) in an older RV. It is great to work with professionals!
