Helped run some in wall HDMI cables and identified and fixed a dangerous outlet! Some previous "electrician" made the ground wire live and they fixed it for us. Could have died if it wasn't for White Horse Electric! Note: I watched them pull the bad outlet out of the wall like this. Scheduled an appointment and they asked me to text a random number with my contact info. I did and another electric company reached out to me. I scheduled a time with them, they were two hours late, rushed the job w/ errors and didn't fulfill all my requests. White Horse Electric asked me how it went and I told them I wasn't happy with the experience. They said they usually charge an excessive fee (think it's $95) to service my area, which was something they didn't mention when I got the quote for the job. The need to guilt me into feeling thankful for not charging me an undisclosed fee, and having me schedule everything with some random company through text messages, was not ideal. I would recommend just contacting a different electrical company directly. This is a contracting team, probably best used for emergencies. My service to check a fuse on my circuit box was $180. read more

We had White Horse come out to do what we thought was going to be a straight installation of a motion sensor switch, 2 Nest Protect fire alarms, and the replacement of an outlet that had shorted out. At first, it started out rocky, being scolded by the electrician, for trying to do things myself and that things weren't just an install but he needed to diagnose why things weren't working. Over the course of the call, I realized that he just cared about his work and our safety. He explained in detail why I couldn't use certain switches (I bought the wrong one) and that the 3-way switch was installed incorrectly when the house was built. When he got to the outlet that shorted he stopped in his tracks and told me that there is no way that he was changing it out because it could cause a fire. He explained that we would need to upgrade the circuit breakers and to which kind so that the house would be safe and protected. He also ended up changing all of the switches on our 3-way that were old and wired incorrectly and now everything works better than before! We will definitely be calling Luis and his guys for our electrical needs again. read more

I have been trying to get this company to complete the original job they agreed to complete for over a month now. We had them demo our old light boxes, install new light fixtures, and replace old fans in three bathrooms. 99% of the work was completed in a reasonable two days. However, the technician that did demo/install did not activate humidity sensors, and this was not brought to my attention until they were ready to bill me, of course. I refuse to pay until the job is 100% done, and I have called multiple times to get a technician to come back out without success. I couldn't be happier with this company. They were super responsive from the start, and also were so patient with me when I totally messed up the first appointment meeting. The quote was easy and we were able to do it virtually, which is amazing since I'm a million years pregnant and so tired. The pricing is so so fair, and the technician (Jose) was AMAZING. He was clearly so knowledgeable and passionate about his work! He made sure we knew ALL the different outcomes that could take place (eg more holes in the wall than we had expected due to the weird construction of the house etc). To top it off, Jose found a $100 bill stuck behind my desk and he immediately returned it to us. The last time I had a contractor here (for some HVAC work) one of them stole $500. So this super honest gesture from Jose meant everything to us. It was very obvious that I would have never known the money was missing, but this company has a lot of integrity.
