I have a massive overbite and it's causing pain from TMJ and generally my teeth are weird. My husband's dentist recommended Laura Rothe. So I contacted them asking about a consult, which I found out was free, and they got me in 3 days later. When I showed up everyone was super nice. The building was clean. The parking was ample. They took a ton of pictures in case I decided to go with their services. The only downside was how long it took for her to come into the room, but considering it was a free consult I wasn't going to complain. When she showed up about after 20 minutes she was very kind. She spent a good amount of time with me discussing things and looking at my mouth. She made it very clear that she couldn't fix my jaw without a surgeon to do their part too. Price wise it's going to cost me $6,000 for braces not including any surgery I'll be getting since my health insurance covers that. I do not have dental insurance coverage for braces since I'm older. Sadly my dental insurance has a cut off. (sadness) Price wise compared to others it's in the upper middle of the price range. That being said she's well recommended by everyone I've talked to and I'm willing to pay more for quality. I'm working with my doctor now to get to the oral surgeon before I start treatment. Hopefully I'll come back in a few years to upset this with a before and after photo!

It seems like this clinic nickels and dimes. Their work isn't that great of quality, and they push…read moreunnecessary, or more expensive procedures. They twice told me I needed a crown instead of fillings. I got one of the crowns done, and then switched insurance to a very expensive one so on Jan 1st I'd be able to get the other one done. (They were not happy I wanted to wait a month and a half to get a crown). I saw a new dentist in January and he said I just needed a deep filling, and looked over my X-rays and said I never needed the first crown. They upsold me on a laser gum treatment and told me insurance would cover it.... It covered $40? I paid the remaining $150 out of pocket. I also got a bill from them 7 months post service saying insurance didn't cover something. When I looked at my insurance, it was denied for failure to submit the claim in a timely fashion. It took 3 phone calls before I finally said: "it looks like it was denied because it wasn't submitted by your staff on time, is that what you're seeing on your end" and magically the bill disappeared. Great personalities, terrible people, terrible treatment.

I knew JUST where to go...I called up Huerter Orthodontics and got my son in. Some of the same staff who still worked there remembered me and it was as if I was back "home." My son's treatment is going suburb, the staff are always so fun and nice, and we just LOVE the office atmosphere. Dr. Longo is an excellent orthodontist. He's very professional but personable and I didn't mind so…read moremuch coming here to get my braces tightened although it's a painful experience. He'll give you detailed instructions on how to care for your braces. My appointments were always on time and I never had to wait. The only bad experience I had was when one of his techs/assistants removed my braces and cracked my teeth...yup, not just one. She was using all her weight to remove my braces and scrape off the glue and I could hear my teeth crunching and cracking. They'll provide you with toothbrush, a small brush to go underneath the brackets, wax so the inside of your cheeks don't get raw from the braces, bottles of flouride in several flavors, elastics in different colors and a threader for your dental floss. I only had my braces for 2 years then moved on to retainers...which I lost a long time ago.

Refused to take my dental insurance card or file a claim on my behalf. Told me my bill was $400 for filing down a sharp spot on a retainer, then said oops, I guess it is $95. I was completely caught off guard by the fee for almost zero work. The staff all seemed brand new and confused with what they were doing.
