My first time trying this place!

I was looking for a Brewery that I hadn't been to before. Voodoo brewing was one of the only ones open for lunch and I got super excited. There are so many beers on tap and also some local beers from other breweries. I really enjoyed sitting at the bar. There were three TVs and a very friendly bartender! I will definitely return! They had an amazing looking menu, but I was not hungry at this time. I will try their food next time!

I REALLY wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt after reading some negative reviews. But, here I am agreeing with those reviews. I sat at the bar & have to say the bartenders were great. So I have zero complaints about them. I didn't have too much interaction with then because they seemed busy fixing the orders the servers screwed up. The servers knew nothing about the beer and one was even asking which button on the soda gun was the Dr Pepper. The bartender informed him they don't have Dr Pepper. They also seemed to be out of a lot of the tap beers. They screwed up another customers order and he ended up having to get his remade. Then asked to have it to go. I ordered wings that I didn't even get to eat at the restaurant. It took over half an hour and I ended up getting them to go. They were the driest wings I have EVER eaten! No flavor and VERY overcooked. They reminded me of the last rotisserie chicken at the grocery store that's been sitting there since the afternoon. The decor and concept is cool but the kitchen needs to get it's crap in order. I wasted $16 on those wings which ended up in the trash. The beer I got, Blake's blue raspberry, was pretty good and I'd recommend it. In the end, I won't go back which is unfortunate because it has a lot of potential.

Started with an awesome greeting. First time in here and we will definitely be back! We got the best burger and seasoned fries. Our beers were amazing! Great service and winning food!

Food and beer were amazing! Good vibes and great service! Big patio right in the middle of short north!

Great new spot in the Short North for a beer! Happy hour 4-6p with half off apps and discount flights & beers.

We decided to just sit at the bar, bartender was so kind and gave us as much time as we needed. We were going back and forth on what we wanted because we were so hungry and couldn't decide....finally we did though!! We got the crab rangoon dip for an app......and yum! I didn't know exactly what to expect, but it was pretty good. The dip goes a loooooong way because it came with so many crispy wonton "chips", but we had to ask for more - she was so happy to get us them!! Funny enough...all 3 of us decided to try the Chicken Schnitzel Caesar.... AND WOW!! one of my top caesar salads I have ever had!! The schnitzel was done perfectly and when paired with the squeezed the lemon, capers, & the actual salad - the perfect bite!!!! The capers really took the dish to the next level in my opinion...its seriously was so good!!! We loved the atmosphere so much we actually stayed longer than expected and decided to get the skillet cookie for dessert which was a brown butter chocolate chip cookie with pretzels and potato chips with salted caramel gelato and caramel drizzle on top!!! - the pretzels kinda through us off a little bit being baked IN the dish, but it was still a pretty decent cookie skillet!!! I wish I lived in CBUS to come get this salad again, but maybe this will be my inspiration for the next salad I try to recreate again!! if you are in the CBUS area, I recommend giving this place a visit - I can only imagine how cute the patio is in the summer/warmer seasons!!!! Salud/Cheers!!!

I also like how you can get a smaller glass of beer for a cheaper price, if you're like me and have trouble finishing a whole drink! I like how they specify on the menu if dishes can be made vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free, and even if they use shared fryers. The crispy fried eggplant was super flavorful and had a crunchy layer of rice to accompany it. It had a slight Szechuan spicy and sweet sauce. I liked how the lasagna was served with wonton chips, which made it less heavy and yet had such a nice crunch. The smoked ribeye was impressive with slow cooked beef and lots of onions. It came with Cajun fries and the fries were good! If you're into sandwiches, the Nashville hot and cod sandwiches were also solid. Service was quick and efficient. My friend ordered the small beer and there was some confusion with the waiter billing it as a tall glass, but we managed to figure it out in the end. Just remember that they do add a service charge if you don't use debit or cash!

"No Soliciting " is a bar we found online - but didn't realize is a private club for members only. We tried The Pearl next door. They were closing in minutes. So we found that North High was the next closest place that closed at 10:00pm. We were also desperate for a restroom. We walked in - the place was devoid of customers - and the bar tender was NOT happy to see us. She had a very long day - and was yearning to "Just. Go. Home." We've all been there. She agreed to let us have one drink in plastic cups - completely understandable. But she messed up by letting us stay - completely underestimating the level of style & charm (not to mention handsomeness) my colleague and I possess *wink* . "One drink" turned into a handful. A good time was had by all. We hated that we had an early morning the next day - and had to return to our hotel well before we would have liked. I will make North High a "mandatory stop" on future visits (alongside my other "mandatory stop" - The Rusty Bucket for their buffalo chicken sandwich - with an extra side of buffalo). Side note - she gave me a taste of their Bloody Mary mix. *VERY* good. I used some of my dashing character and disarming baby blues to swindle them out of a bottle for only $15. It was worth $50. But this was a one-off deal. Don't walk in there expecting the same courtesy - unless you too possess unmatched panache & flair *finger guns*.

We went today for Father's Day, about six months after the last sub par experience, hoping it would be better. Somehow they ran out of chicken again?! AND lemonade, and they had no kids menus left. Food took forever. I ordered a glass of wine that never arrived - and when we got our check it's just a tablet with a price. We wanted to leave so I didn't even check to see if the wine was still on there. Food was cold, salad was soggy, burger was very meh. For $150 it was overall a bad experience for the second time in a row. Definitely spend your money at any of the other local restaurants in town.
