I've been missing this place. It's my third time here and I already love this spot. I really like hookah and I even have my own at home. All three times I didn't pick a flavor, I just said: "I want something that people like" and all three times there were very good flavors. First time i had white gummy+mint, second time white gummy+red gummy and last time it was watermelon+mint. The place is quiet and clean, they play music, sometimes sports, but not too loud. Not super fancy or luxury, but pretty good lounge. If you want to talk with someone while smoking hookah or do some work or homework - it is a perfect place. Also you can bring your own snacks or drinks. They have a variety of flavors and brand of tobaccos. They have really good coals (they don't smell, don't burn the flavor) and they always come to you to check if you need new ones. About COVID: they use disposable hoses and hookah man doesn't smoke it before he gives it to you, so you need to warm it up by yourself, tables and couches pretty far from each other. read more

The 5 star rating is majority for the management. From the gate they were professional and accommodating. I went to the location to see if it was a great fit for my birthday party. They answered all my questions and were hella welcoming! I booked my date and time. On the day of the party.. my car broke down I was HOURS late, when I got there they made it possible for me to still turn up and have fun!! I've Been coming to this hookah bar since I was 18. I seen old owners and new . I even through my 23 birthday here,Never had an issue until now . I got charged $65 for two ppl, I've never paid that much for hookah in my life . And that's not even the main part they were rude af to us . When asked to move for a bigger party , he was just like "I need y'all to move" and I was like where and he was like " I didn't put you here in the first place " which is true however it's a certain way you speak to customers that's not it. Mind you they were nice to the larger groups of friends and tended to them and their hookahs. I had to ask for my coals to be swapped out multiple times they never checked in . Even the same handful of songs kept being played repeatedly so , Sadly I'll have to let this place go . P.s two stars for the flavors they were really good. read more

Went to the grand opening. Grand opening prices very reasonable. $40 for 2 hookahs, 3 flavors, 3 energy drinks, and 1 water bottle between 5 people. Stayed for 3 hours. For the first couple of hours we were there, the room was pretty stuffy with all the smoke. As soon as they opened the doors, however, the ventilation was a lot better. The staff is really nice and very attentive. They go around pretty frequently to check on coals and how everything is going in general. Hookahs hit well. A decent selection of flavors. Lots of seating: couches and automans. More seating than the other new hookah lounge in Brentwood, Wicked Mirage. They have candy and drinks available for the same prices you might find at the gas station. If you want some "real food," they're right across the street from McDonald's and Jack in the Box is right down the street. Alright music. TVs playing movies/tv shows. Arcade games near door. They have a punch card: after six hookahs, you can get the seventh hookah free. Awesome! Overall good experience. Would come again! read more

I've been coming here for a while before I decided to write my review. Voodoo definitely sets itself apart from other hookah lounges and I'll explain why. AMAZING, did I mention AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Second, this lounge is not ghetto like some of the other spots like Antioch lounges. Third, the employees are pretty much family to me. They get a deep understanding of their new and regular clients, and ensure that your bowl is always spot on! Great flavors and equally great variety of choices. Fourth, it's never freezing in here like the other lounge Sultana, not trying to bash on Sultana but it made smoking hookah less enjoyable. Fifth, music is a hit or miss but not a big deal. They also play great movies every week and have a pool table. Great for parties or events. If this place closed I probably won't smoke hookah anywhere else. read more

I had never been to voodoo lounge cuz i always heard the hookah and environment was nasty but this place just got into under new management and let me tell you it is AMAZING. i love the comfy couches esp the red couch is my favorite. the new management has made everything much better. the hookahs are smooth and good. try the glass hookahs it's awesome. can't wait for the new grand opening of this lounge. great place to be to just hangout relax with friends and enjoy that hookah and music. read more

Disco lights, loud music, and arcade machines all gave the impression that I was walking into an 80's disco-tek. I like hookah lounges that are much more chill, giving you the chance to talk with friends rather than yelling at them. They serve Fumari flavors which is really good! but I could swear the hookah tasted like straight Fantasia tobacco, which is a big no-no for me (and anyone that truly enjoy hookah for that matter.) The place wasn't crowded which was a plus and the staff was very attentive with coal service. Unfortunately, too much coals and your hookah is burned. I guess the place would be good for the much younger crowd (18-19), and I'll most likely be back if i'm in the area and wanting to smoke hookah since they're the only place in town. read more

This update is well deserved! I've been going to wicked ever since I tried this place out a while back, didn't have all the best experience though as you can see from my previous review. But I started reading some yelp reviews and saw some talk about new renovations and such. So I decided to go here the other day and was exceptionally pleased =] I honestly think this place no longer has any Cons to be honest. They have added a big screen projector on the wall where the little TV used to be, it makes it look soooooooo much better. They had sports on while I was there and the owner was willing to change it to tennis for us, which was dope lol Music was good, nice mix of everything popular basically. And hookah was up to par was my standards lol As far as flavors go they added a Tangier*? line to thier flavor list, we tried the peach something..it wasn't half bad, but I definitely prefer Fumari or Fantasia brand, which they also carry along with starbuzz. They have a nice selection of flavors & I can say I've already tried them before(in the past) and like most of them so thats good. The owner/manager joey is really chill as well, dope dude. I like Wicked Mirage for sure, but If that place is a 5, then this places deserves a 5.5 to be honest =] It's nice to see the improvements, Definitely will be coming back ^_^ PS. The atmosphere of this place is really nice for a night time thing, the people working there are very friendly and make sure to always ask if you need new coals or anything else for that matter. the only thing I hate is the music, sometimes it's the worst music played on repeat for my whole entire visit. nothing more annoying than trying to smoke hookah with friends over bad music blaring for hours. read more

Walked in today not knowing what to expect, but my experience was lovely! First timer at Voodoo and was greeted with such nice people. I would come here more often if I didn't go to school in SD. I've been to many hookah lounges in SD and this one is by far the best with customer service. They are always checking up on you and switching out the coals, making sure it doesn't get too harsh. I'm a regular hookah smoker so it's nice having someone else do the dirty work. The hookah itself tastes really good as well. First time here for myself and friends and the first time I've even heard of a Hookah Lounge in Brentwood. It was a solid hour drive from Walnut Creek, but definitely worth it. The atmosphere is very relaxed for the most part. A couple of TV's and a huge LCD projector. We were greeted by Goose who was extremely helpful and kind with picking out flavors and mixing what together. His knowledge was impressive. For two bowls and 6 different flavors at $34 that was a steal! He signed me up for a rewards program for every dollar you spend, you earn 1 point. We got comfortable on the nice couches that they had. Throughout the night they switched out our coals and made sure we were okay. The owners Sue and Joey stopped in and were very friendly. They had plenty of drinks and snacks for purchase as well as Hookah's and Vapors. If you're looking for a relaxing night out with friends and just want let some steam out give this place a visit! Second time here and before gave it a three star. I updated it to 4 star. I went in with a group of 6. Hookah were good. Customer service was great! Id give the hookah experience as a 5 star. Only reason I gave them a four star is everyone in the group but me used the bathroom and everyone said it was gross. Anyways guy that coaches baseball was guy that helped up. This was the first hookah lounge I went to, ever. And right off the bat i enjoyed it. most of the times i go i'm either with just one other person or 2. And sometimes I'm able to gather another couple of friends to meet up there. We all have a blast. Atmosphere- super COMFORTABLE couches, good lighting that is on a dimmer switch so sometimes they'll turn it down a little, 2 TV's usually playing sports, but without sound as they are playing a variety of music off of I believe they said spotify and almost every time I go someone asks me if i have a music preference and they change the station on the computer, very nice touch. Also the music is almost never turned up too loud, you can actually have conversations here! Rarely ever packed, almost always room for hookah for 2. though they change their layout quite alot, i think they are still in the process of finding the perfect layout for their spot. very roomy there as well. Menu- super simple menu, with 4 or 5 categories with lists of flavors, not alot of flavors, but they make up for it by having a flat rate fee for any mix at just $17. and Tuesdays and Thursdays it $12 hookah for 2. Really can't beat that deal in our area. Staff- Every single time we go for hookah at voodoo someone greets us and asks if we already know what we want or not, if we don't they come to our couch and let us ask questions about mixing, or what flavor goes best with what, its that little personal touch that really makes me feel comfortable at this lounge. They also come by throughout the smoking and change coals and blow out the ash and ask us if everything is enjoyable. The only thing i could nitpick about the staff is that i never really know for sure who is the staff and who isn't, they seem to change it up pretty often and its like every one there knows each other, but i guess i'm not a regular enough customer to know everyone who works there. but despite the many people i've met working there, they have all been great. My favorite mixes are 75% white gummi with about 25% dragons breath. very smooth and flavorful, you can add or subtract the dragons breath depending on how harsh you like it, i find it to be a little bit rough for the people i go with, but i enjoy it. Also 80% double apple and 20% mint tastes almost exactly like girl scout thin mint cookies. it was kinda unreal, me and my friend just randomly discovered that, gonna try it out again tomorrow with a little bit of chocolate mixed in to see if we can really get that thin mint flavor. Absolutely in love with this hookah lounge! Great atmosphere and customer service is fantastic. I had no problems here at all. They have an amazing group of people running this lounge. Some of the other reviews on here does not do any justice to this lounge. Their list of flavors is endless and when you're stumped on what to get they always lend a helping hand :) They have karaoke nights on Monday and its always packed but the staff at Voodoo are always on top of coals and making sure everything is going good for you and your friends. Tried out Tangiers and fell in love with the mixture they made me. Voodoo Hookah Lounge has the best flavors in town! Ive tried other hookah lounges and honestly nothing is good as voodoo.
