Very rude customer service, I went in to Voortmans egg ranch yesterday, fortunately they weren't busy, I been going here for years, I grabbed my eggs and checked them and there was only one cashier, who looked annoyed, maybe she didn't like my Veterans hat, I have no idea, but she was very rude and didn't even bother saying thank you after I thanked her. While I'm sure there is much more to this operation than most people realize, from a consumer's standpoint they do one thing, and they do it well. Ok, two things... there are chicken eggs and quail eggs. Voortman's eggs are all-natural, cage-free, and hard to beat in terms of quality or price. I especially appreciate the freshness - the eggs are good for nearly a month from date of purchase, which allows us to stock up a bit without worrying we won't be able to use them soon enough. The only question is whether it's worth making a stop here for eggs, which is something you could buy at any grocery store. Personally, for all the reasons mentioned, I'm happy to go the extra mile to buy my eggs here. read more

I had been looking at a couple of egg ranches in the area since this whole situation started and shortages in the grocery stores began. I had seen all the great reviews but my sister and I were a little hesitant to come because we had seen all the crazy lines they had, and well you know how that goes lol. Thankfully I noticed Joe G check in, I asked him how bad it was. He said it was smooth sailing and no limits! We were up so fast....lol and down to that Egg Ranch within a couple of hours. We ended up buying a case of eggs, 6 flats for $30. Now we didn't need that many eggs, so we ended up spreading some around in the block to our neighbors and family members. So Joe, thanks for beating us here and egging us on lol! We've been coming here weekly to support not only Voortman's Eggs Ranch but to buy our neighbors, family members, friends and ourselves some eggs. I've been going to Voortman's Egg Ranch since 8/2022. I "was" impressed first of all with their "transparency". I asked if the chicken were fed organic feed and they quickly responded to my question which disproved the misinformation another reviewer was spreading, that Voortman's eggs were organic. Sellers/manufacturers should be transparent to their customers about their products. It is the honorable thing to do. In my next email to them asking if they were washing their eggs with chlorine, I did not receive an answer. I thought that maybe they did not receive my email. I sent them another emaiI, and still it was ignored. I guess their transparency was not as much as I thought. I remember reading about a farmer who was selling his non organic produce as organic and when he was caught, he committed suicide. That was heart-wrenching to read. Why couldn't he just be honest? How can an honorable person enjoy his profit based on a lie? Most of the population cannot afford to buy organic and would still continue buying non organic produce. I asked Voortman's if the eggs were washed with chlorine because halides cause hardening of the arteries. It is I think a USDA requirement for egg producers to wash their eggs with chlorine under the pretense of making them "safe", more sanitary, just like your drinking water. I will not go into this segue or I will be writing a novel. I used to get eggs from Wisconsin because there were no tyrants there forcing them to wash their eggs with chlorine. Well, government agents started destroying eggs not washed with chlorine as they crossed the border going into California. Californians are so asleep to these matters. I just happen to know because I read everything I can get my hands on. Had Voortman's told me their eggs were not chlorine-washed, I would've considered that another stellar reason to promote their place of business, but instead they decided to step back on their transparency. I locked myself into a presumption their eggs were always a better buy than the supermarket eggs, or even Costco's eggs. I told everyone I knew to go to Voortman's. The other day I purchased large eggs for $17.50/flat of 30 eggs. What a far cry from the $6.50 we used to pay. Is it still worth it to brave the flies, the cow dung smell, the uneven pavement (sudden drop) that scrapes the bottom of my car each time I exited that place? They fixed that road not too long ago and I was very happy that my car no longer scraped the road as I exited Voortman's lot, however, the other day, it happened again. The soil they deposited to make the transition from their place of business to the road a gradual smooth transition is no longer working. The soil most likely got compacted over time. With the amount of money they are now charging for their eggs, they should be able to deposit a few cubic feet of soil to fix the problem again. When it is raining, is it still worth driving there and getting your car splashed with dung water? I went to Sprouts earlier today and their package of large 18 brown eggs cost me $6.69. That equals to 37 cents per egg. Voortman's flat of 30 eggs at $17.50 equals to 58 cents per egg. I placed the eggs side by side and some of the Sprouts' eggs were even slightly larger which surprised me because I thought egg sizes were standardized. You decide if paying 37 cents per egg is better than 58 cents per egg. Most of us are not rolling in dough, and the economy will get worse by the day because it is being orchestrated. I hope you all wake up from being complicit or subservient to these corporations/elite who couldn't care less about us. I still give Voortman's a couple of stars because the employees there are always friendly. read more

My family has been buying eggs from here prior to the egg inflation. Service has always been exceptional, kind staff and will answer your questions. My brothers house gets the organic brown flat- two dozen per flat for $9. Medium AA white eggs were $3.90 a dozen. I just left with 8 dozen and paid $30. I had to go to Ontario airport. I heard there are some good egg farm in Chino Hill. Lately the egg price in the supermarket had gone skyrocket. So why not make the trip more productive and pick some egg from an egg farm, I found this place from google map and read some review on Yelp. They did have plenty of customers come by, and some of them even pick up a whole case. Price for sure is lower than the supermarket in my neighborhood. I pick up a flat of small brown egg of 30 for 6 dollars. That amount of money did not buy a dozen of egg from the market. They have other sizes of eg, white and brown. read more

30 extra large eggs for $4.75 is a steal!!! This ranch has a variety of egg options for cheap prices. Choose from brown, medium, large, extra-large and jumbo sized eggs. They even sell double yolk eggs and quail eggs (3 ten packs for $5). I realize the eggs are not cage free yet we all know those policies are not strict enough to make a significant difference for the chickens. This review is base on their price change as of 03-25-20 as to back on Feb 17,2020 we're less.. but as far as Feb their prices were excellent and their product still as good as it get's I stop by today to pick up some eggs, usually I get a full box of Jumbo size for 17.50 per box and 3.50 per flat. But for today 03-25-20 they only had white in X-large and Medium size and brown eggs, but not for me.
