My oldest attended for 5 years and still comes back for the summer, and I can honestly say that everything she learned came from the caring teachers and the strong curriculum provided by CBB. Many of her former teachers are still here, and they'll be caring for my youngest, which brings me so much peace of mind. My children absolutely love the splash pad during the summer months, showing off their crafts, and singing songs they've learned. As a parent, it's so comforting to know that my children are safe, well-cared for, and thriving here. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing, loving, and educational environment. Above and beyond the amazing care provided day-to-day, I also really appreciate all of the events they put on to engage parents/grandparents throughout the year. My husband and I both work M-F and finding Prescolaire was such a gem as we navigated becoming working parents 4 years ago. The team at Prescolaire has allowed me to continue pursuing my passion of working in healthcare (my husband's as well) while knowing our kids are cared for, loved, and having fun while we are at work! This is not just a typical "daycare". This is a place of learning with a lot of structure. My child got moved to other classrooms a lot. Her classroom only had 1 teacher so if the teacher ever had to miss they just moved all the kids over. When they did that I couldn't see her on the monitors. I think the teachers were getting kids confused because they would mark they changed my daughter's diaper, and I would come check on her & her home diaper would still be on. ( daycare diapers had her name written on them as required, so I could also tell if she had been changed or not.) sometimes she would go 5 hours or so without a real diaper change. Even though it was marked in the app that they had changed her. They would mark that they fed her 8 oz & then my 4 oz breastmilk bottles would still be in the fridge. So I think they were giving her someone else's milk. Also I could walk in & they would ask me which child was mine. So that definitely worried me. You don't have to be buzzed in( you do have a code) but if someone was in front of you, anyone could slip in while someone else was walking in the school & the teachers didn't know who the kid was much less what the parents looked like. They had pictures of the babies in their own classroom, but since they had to always move them to the older room their pictures weren't in there. Since there was only 1 teacher that meant babies were left crying while she held one baby, or changed a diaper or fed any of them. I'm pretty sure it was the cafeteria staff that would come relieve the teacher for her lunch break. They were all nice people but extremely under staffed, with a high turnover over rate. We left really shortly after we started and found an amazing daycare where there are 4 teachers for about 10 babies. Even the toddlers class has 3-4 teachers all the way until they are two. And we pay less now. The new school has better cameras & more security. Unlimited log ins at our new school. The infants have their own "playground" and go outside everyday weather permitting. it's covered so you don't have to worry about the sun as much. **** update. I didn't post my first or last name on yelp. So that makes sense that you couldn't pull my name off of any database. I also believe it was my spouse that registered our child. However, my child did attend this school. I struggled to post this because I truly thought the staff was nice. But as a parent I would want to know the experience we had. The school was just severely understaffed & everyone was new. Teachers walked out in the middle of the day & quit it got so bad. Those things can be fixed. I especially love that I can count on a few consistent faces such as Ms. Key (Kierra Parker) we love her and she's always professional and dependable. Key things that are a bare minimum for me as a first time mom in a child care facility is that my child is safe and cared for properly. What I got was way more than I can imagine. My child is LOVED by her teachers, cared for by all staff members, and she is thriving! When she started, she had a difficult time adjusting. I watched her teachers Ms. Megan, Ms. Cecile, Ms. Teresa put in EFFORT & TIME to help her adjust, make her feel safe to where now she runs off without a care in the world. There are no words to describe the amount of gratitude I have for that type of love and care. As she moved up in her Toddler class, I watched Ms. Madison, Ms. Genieve, Ms. Alyssa, teach my daughter songs, manners, show her such love. Such love that she tells them she loves them as she leaves their class and talks about them at home. These are examples of how great the teachers there are! Make no mistake that no preschool is perfect and there can/will be issues, but anytime I have a concern, I am welcome the opportunity to discuss and and it is addressed. I explained with management that it is important that we work together because we view this as a partnership since VRA plays a key role in my child's life. Working with Brian, Jane, Elaine on expectations have been great and again we are honestly thrilled to have found VRA.
