That's a lot of time. Please don't trust your car to one of the chains. The price tag and "quick turn around" might seem great, but I promise you, you will end up getting burned. Our cars run so well (one of them is going on 19 years in 2026! Crazy!), and I know the whole staff at Centerville is always looking out for our family and not upselling every five seconds. And honestly, the turn around has always blown my mind at CSC. This parking lot is ALWAYS full, and our cars are ALWAYS ready on time (We call ahead for appointments. I recommend doing the same).

All the techs working started to yell frantically, and Kirk rushed to the car to turn the engine off. After I asked if they could document the incident in case of engine failure in the future. Kirk laughed and said no and kicked me out of the service area. Upon completion of the service, I again asked for documentation, and he said he needed to call his boss and ask him how to handle the situation. At this point, I started recording. Kirk then came back and said there was nothing he could do and that I needed to pay and leave. When he was asked about his side of the story, he said he had already given it to me, although he hadn't. Later, he admitted he was not in the room when the engine turned on, cut off the electricity, and switched to engine power. He then told me the oil change was on the house, so I called that suspicious, and he revoked the offer. After I paid, he left the office, and that's when the tech who was working on the oil change admitted on camera that the engine was on.

We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up. I trusted him and he lied several times. I am now at a mechanic shop hats legit and have had to get ANOTHER rental car for the week. This guy has lied and set me back almost 1500 and my car is in the same condition as it was 13 days ago. Do not trust him

But they also repair just about anything. I bonded with most of the guys here because we were all truck drivers in the army. They always think its cool since I am a girl. Even without that fact they were always nice and never tried to get me to fix something that didn't need it. One time I came in and said "Jack, its leaking oil but I don't have any money yet, please don't let it cost too much". When I picked it up he said "I fixed the leak for now, just keep it topped off, but if you don't get a new tire you are going to die". How's that for honesty? My truck sucked and I was there often. They would drive me home, to work, or just give me one of their personal cars to drive. Jack let me haggle a little bit over cost, and would offer me a shot or a beer from his secret stash in the back to soften the blow. Once, after I practically dropped my paycheck to fix my ride he threw in a 6-pack of tall boys. That is service my friends. When I told them I was moving to Cali in my heap they were worried and checked it out for me. They did "just enough" work on it so I could make it there but told me to ditch the thing once I made it. I got to Cali with no problems. I only wish I had sold it sooner - it broke down within a few months and cost $700 just so I could then trade it in. Oh well. They couldn't patch it (devastated), I couldn't afford to buy a new tire because where the nail was, it was hard to fix and be safe to drive....This man told me to hold tight and came back a few moments later to tell me they were gonnatake care of everything for me !!!!!???? WHY? So I can be SAFE, ME! They don't know me at all. Never been there, and He advocated on my behalf so I can be safe...Who does that anymore?
