Vox DJ's did an incredible job. Our DJ was Diego and he was so awesome from the beginning stages of planning to the wedding day itself. I kind of gave him free reign for the most part aside from the typical songs like entrances and what not but other than that we had a zoom call about a month out and kinda gave him a decent idea of the kind of music we both liked and he nailed it. Also did a good job through out the night communicating with us and wedding planner. Working with VOX DJs to set up our wedding day DJ was a breeze, but man did we get lucky with DJ Jack Matthess. My main goal for the reception was to make sure the dance floor never emptied and that the vibes were fantastic the entire time. Jack met and surpassed this goal. He struck the perfect tone during the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and, most importantly, when the dancing started. We went with the two-set system that VOX DJs recommends, with the first set being more oldies/wedding classics and the second set consisting of more contemporary music. TLDR; DJ Leon Lee is amazing!! We had a fantastic experience finding a DJ through Vox DJs. After submitting an inquiry, we received a neat price breakdown PDF which outlined the package pricing for their different tiers of DJ/MC services. After reviewing their DJ profiles, we knew we had to go with Leon Lee (aka DJ Leon de La $co) because his music taste and vibes were exactly what we were looking for. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to have Leon be our DJ/MC for our wedding in San Diego. He brought the BEST energy and vibes to the party. Personally as I'm on the shyer/introverted side I was anxious about the dance floor leading up to the wedding but Leon's professionalism and experience really shined, because it was a massive success! Leon worked his magic and even some of our shyest friends were on the dance floor dancing and singing the night away. We loved that he was also familiar with k-pop and j-pop. In addition to the DJ side of Leon, I'd like to give a huge shout out to his MC skills because he seriously brought life to our grand entrance script, which would not have the same epic impact had it been MCed by anyone else that night. Having the ability to hype up a crowd but also not sound forced or unnatural is seriously a talent/skill that's hard to master. After looking at the website and trying to see which DJ we liked best, we found DJ Leon Lee and we knew that we wanted him right away. Booking VOX was an easy experience from the start. I like how organized their company was and how you can choose from DJs of different experiences and styles. The videos they have online that show off the DJ's music styles and personality were super helpful. I was sadly unable to connect with the DJ we liked before we booked him. I feel like that should have been a sign. Our DJ we booked was quite late for our event and we did not have music playing upon our guests arrival. Our coordinator gave him an earful when he arrived, but he got it going shortly after arrival. The speeches during dinner service were not heard by half the guests, I wish I was told to get another speaker to help improve the audio quality. Overall, it was a great time and our DJ brought good vibes with him. We made several changes to our timeline a few weeks up until our wedding and our DJ was able to execute what we wanted when we wanted it.
