Our wedding was over four months ago now, and one thing we still get compliments on was our amazing DJ: Chase Edwards! He was really attentive to our wants prior to our wedding and delivered on the big day. He went above and beyond in finding a unique Portuguese song for us. He also was great with our very last minute change of axing the garter and bouquet toss. We met with him on google hangouts since we were planning our wedding remotely a couple times before the wedding to get to know each other and iron out the details and loved him! He is super accommodating and just as authentic as his tape on the Vox website. When you choose your DJ it's important that they are someone that you would hang out with. We hired Vox Djs to mc and dj our wedding at The 1909 in Topanga. Cam Arnett did an exceptional job at both mcing and djing the event. He was professional, organized and on time, but more than that he was also friendly, laidback, and cool. Cam did an outstanding job working with us and the vendors to make sure the day went smooth. All of guests had a great time at the wedding and many people complimented the music. We had some discussions and gave him some song requests, then he was able to gain a sense of the vibe/ feel for our event and he did great. He was very easy to work with and did a great job guiding us through the process. It was notable, that we had difficult Vietnamese names to pronounce during the wedding party introduction during dinner, and Cam practiced beforehand and successful delivered. Our wedding on 9/21/13 was AMAZING! DJ Andy Rossi and DJ Mike G did an AWESOME job! The dance floor was packed from beginning to end. We have received several comments from family and friends stating how great a time they had and that they hadn't danced that much in a very long time. Vox Djs and DJ Ralph were SO AMAZING and instrumental in helping me out with not only music, but planning out the day. I met some VOX staff at a bridal show about a year before my wedding, and they were so nice and kept following up with me with phone calls and emails to see if I was ready to meet with them yet (I told them to keep following up wit me because I was so busy...! glad they kept pestering me!). Our first meeting was with Rob, and we communicated all of the music choices we were interested in, as well as vibe of the wedding and DJ, and other details of the event. He recommended 2 DJs within his company that we could go with, and we went home and checked out their websites/soundclouds and ended up picking DJ Ralph. We used their online music picking website to choose songs we wanted in "MUST PLAY" "OPTIONAL PLAY" and "DO NOT PLAY," Thank god for that last section. We met with DJ Ralph in person about 3 weeks before our wedding (planned it right after our last venue walkthrough), and went over schedule, ceremony, introductions, reception, dances, etc. He was easy to work with and super nice. Day of the wedding: Ralph was super calm and organized, helped us organize our wedding party for entrances, and was super good about coming up to us to remind us we needed to do cake cutting/bouquet toss etc. He even got on the dance floor to teach us nerds how to do some of the line dances (I had never heard of any of these haha). My guests raved about the music and the DJ and I definitely passed on their info to more than a few of them :) I would 100% recommend DJ Ralph to any wedding ! I talked with Mike over the phone and knew this was the DJ for us. If you need a DJ and he is available, definitely get MIKE. Very professional, hilarious, and fun. He listened to my ideas and had great suggestions which I followed, very happy that I did. He was with the wedding from the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception. He had everybody dancing for the entire night, not once was the dance floor empty. Luckily I won't need to get married again because I found my one and only, but if I do need the services of a DJ again - I will definitely be calling VOX DJs to help me out. read more

We used VOX for our wedding reception - hired both a DJ and photo booth. We had DJ Abraham Chase and he was a pleasure to work with. Very friendly! He met in person with us twice, and over the phone just before the wedding. He wanted to make sure everything would run smoothly....and it did!! We also worked with Robert Fox in the photo booth. The paperwork was a little clunky, but he really pulled through after the wedding! We lost the memory stick with all the photos on it, and he set up a drop box account and we were able to get all the pictures!! At VOX they work in silos - so you have to work through different people for the contract, DJ, photo booth, etc. It gets a little confusing sometimes as to who to contact for what. read more

DJ Deeran DJed our wedding, and we were infinitely pleased with how he did! My wife and I are big nerds, and we had epic movie/tv/internet music requests that weren't on the standard VOX DJs selection list, so we were a little concerned about getting everything we wanted for the ceremony and reception. Part of VOX's policy is that your DJ sits down and has a one on one meeting with you... or, I guess a one on two meeting... anyway, Deeran was eager to meet all of our requests and we were even able to assemble a Spotify playlist with all of our specific song choices and send Deeran the link. It all went off without a hitch! Deeran not only played all the specific requests we had for ceremony and reception, but he crafted out music for the rest of the reception that fit right in with the type of music that we loved and got our friends and family dancing. On top of all that, he was a wonderful MC for all of the typical wedding shenanigans (IE First Dance, Father Daughter Dance, Bouquet Toss, Garter Toss, Toasts and other fun activities we had planned) Not only was he excited for all of our silliness, he listened and planned out accordingly to execute everything we had planned to perfection. Our attendant, Mario, came early to set up and made the photo booth one of our favorite highlights of the party. He was fun, a good sport, and even jumped in a few photos for our employees!! Where do I begin!....my fiance (Travis) found Vox DJ on the knot they were quick to respond with as much information as we needed. Our initial meeting was with Eric who then connected us to Kyle McAuley. We ended up booking after our first phone conversation he sounded like he knew what he was doing. first off Travis and I are pretty easy going we let him know what our expectations were and from the conversation sounded like he could see our vision through. Kyle was great at responding to emails and any questions I had leading up to our planning meeting. When it came time to our planning meeting we ended up skyping due to schedule conflicts but he was amazing! made us feel super comfortable and gave us plenty of suggestions and coordination which we are glad we took! DJ Andy from Vox DJs played at our wedding in Palm Desert, California. He was fantastic. The whole team at Vox DJs is fantastic. They are super responsive and take time up front to talk with you about your music style. My husband and I lived out-of-state, so we did this all by phone and it wasn't an issue. DJ Andy hit the nail on the head with the music he played at our wedding, but we were also very specific with what we wanted. We probably provided a list of 30-40 songs we wanted or did not want played and when we wanted them played (cake cutting, dinner, dancing, etc.) I was stressed about many things the night of the wedding, but never music. Thank you Vox DJs and specifically our DJ Carlos DeLeon!! Our wedding was in July 2017 at the Marina del Rey Marriott (on the rooftop). Vox DJ was great to work with, and Robert coordinated the details and was very quick and responsive via email. While we were engaged, my now husband and I, moved across the country but were still getting married in L.A. We worked with Carlos over Skype and email and the process was really smooth and stress free. The first time I even saw Carlos was as I was walking down the aisle! Carlos worked with our event coordinator (Savvy Events) and everything went really smoothly. Our ceremony was on a rooftop and we didn't have any sound issues at all. Carlos knows what he's doing. He also has a fantastic, and exuberant personality, great taste in music and a great feel for the crowd. My family is bilingual and it was important to me that our DJ could make some announcements in Spanish and pronounce family names correctly, and Carlos was perfect for this. I was nervous filing out the questionnaire, but with the guidance Carlos gave us and us selecting just a few specific songs, he was able to fill up the entire night with great music and energy. In addition to the music, Carlos was also our MC and he was awesome! Many guests told me that they loved him, that the music was amazing, and that he has an amazing voice for MC'ing (he does!). Carlos was very flexible as things came up throughout the night. He also took requests from my guests and had all of the songs we specifically requested. For my wedding, the element of the DJ was very important because I wanted my family and friends to be entertained throughout the evening. Jeff Collins (our DJ) and Robert Corrall (Manager) were able to provide such an effortless and enjoyable experience which I will highly recommend to anyone. I contacted Robert a few weeks before the wedding and he was very quick to respond and extremely accommodating. He mentioned that one of their most experienced DJ's would be available and that he had setup a meeting with Jeff for us to go through our song list and program. After just a few minutes speaking to Jeff in person, I was confident that the reception was going to be great. Not only was he very enthusiastic to meet us as well as go over the details, but he was just a very genuine, very easy going person to begin with. He helped us organize the program and made great song recommendations. As the reception was in full swing, some of my older relatives came up to me and told me how happy they were with the selection of "oldies" that were playing. I have to give Jeff props for this because I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to entertain the older crowd, but they were dancing throughout the night and everyone enjoyed themselves. Jeff was able to transition through our program seamlessly with the excitement and enthusiasm that I wanted in a DJ. He learned the names of my wedding party and called them out to the dance floor when he saw my wife and I dancing together. My little niece, who is very talented and performed a solo Tahitian dance, was teaching me the Cupid shuffle and quickly became the center of attention on the dance floor. Jeff gave her a shoutout during the night saying how talented she was which I thought was nice and absolutely true. Jeff was even able to entertain without being behind the turntables. When he saw that the night was winding down and there weren't many people dancing he went on the mike and put people on the spot walking up to them and asking them to dance. He had asked one of my drunk uncles who gave him a sour look, but my wife and I thought it was hilarious and Jeff was laughing with us. My wife and I got married May 2017, and had DJ Andy Rossi emcee'ing and DJing our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a more fun or professional person to do so! He met with us in person to go over the schedule of events, as well as getting to know our musical tastes and preference for the wedding to personalize the experience as much as possible. We preferred the upbeat Pop, EDM, sprinkled in with 90s/2000s hits as well as some old-school vibes, without the Trap music and Chainsmokers vibe, and asked that he play it more like a mixed set than a simple playlist. David Newton and Vox DJs really did a phenomenal job at our June 14, 2015 wedding. Since we didn't have a day-of coordinator or a wedding planner, we had quite a few timeline issues, but David did so well to help us stay on track. He really went the extra distance to make things run as smoothly as possible. He was a hit with the ladies for sure! He did SO WELL playing our songs, too! I mean, I've been to weddings where they requests specific songs and get nothing, but David really listened to what we wanted and did a fantastic job incorporating all our favorite stuff. It was epic. The way Vox DJs run their business is genius. Having a variety of different DJs with different expertise and an office manager who can point you in the right direction is fantastic. I'm so happy we got to work with this company! The price was so reasonable and they even provide up lighting! We highly recommend Vox DJs! From the initial discussions, they were highly professional and incredibly responsive. Most importantly - our DJ, Andy Rossi, absolutely rocked our wedding. Not only did he time and execute all of the important moments perfectly, but also kept a really good vibe and positive energy throughout the event. After reading his background and talking to him, we left nearly everything to his discretion. We told him that we wanted some whimsical, fun love songs during cocktail hour and that he could dial it up as the night went on. We also rented the DMX lighting package and up lights through Vox after our planner told us we wouldn't find better prices. We still look back at some of the videos of the dance floor and laugh that "Wow, that was OUR wedding!"
