Third, Dr. Alfreda seems competent but very rushed even though I've never seen another patient in the office . He doesn't seem to be particularly interested in establishing a solid relationship with his patients which as a concierge doctor you'd think would be of primary importance. When going over test results he sits behind a huge wooden desk and scribbles notes on the paper that are barely legible. You are given no summary of visit with your vitals to keep for future reference . I have has only 2 primary care doctors both through my insurance provider and I can say the care which I received from the doctor, nurses and staff were much better I don't take any pleasure in writing this review. I believe in supporting local businesses and always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But 2 years was enough. I see that others have given health4life good reviews so maybe it just wasn't a good fit. I have since found a new doctor , covered by my insurance and the attitude, efficiency and care especially among the staff is far superior

This is by far who you should make your Doctor. From the front desk and reception to the after hours care they provide. It's a 24 hour coverage that is well worth the concierge coverage. No sitting in an office trying to balance a clipboard as you look in your contacts for the emergency phone number and address of the person you list. Also, no balancing everything with your wallet because many practices want your insurance ID number in 17 places on the forms. Having all this done before I walked in the door was great! I had a seat and within a short time, I was called in. After some preliminary breathing tests, I was told Dr. Orevillo would be in shortly. And shortly it was. No long wait. We discussed my history and he had much of the information he needed sent from my primary physiscian. I could not get the prior place to return my calls to obtain my records from them. I was immediately put at ease by Dr. Orevillo. He's a very personable man and we decided on what would be next. He's going to get the CT scan insurance approval, and then I will see him in 3 months. As I was leaving, he noticed my Las Vegas Valley Bicycle Club patch on my shirt. He's a cyclist also and we chatted briefly about the joy and hazard of biking in this city. Firstly, I wanna start by saying the staff has not been rude by any means, but just extremely unprofessional and unorganized. I started going to this doctor, specifically Dr. Noorda, because of the incredible reviews he had about him as far as his practice and medicine... I wanna make it very clear that I am only continuing to come to this office because of the incredible care that I've received from Dr. Noorda and only because of that. Otherwise, it has been extremely frustrating and an impeccable waste of my time... I Initially went in 11/26 to get blood drawn and provide samples that I was asked for for testing... When I arrived, there was a ton of confusion on what test were actually supposed to be performed on me so that was frustrating, and then after they finally figured everything out, and I was able to provide them with the correct paperwork, they took the samples they thought I needed it, and I proceeded to leave the office as normal... Literally less than three minutes later they called me back to back letting me know if I'm able to rush back in. They forgot to give me some test that we're on the list for me that day, which was already a red flag, but I decided that everyone makes mistakes and I went back in with no problem., Mind you I live over 25 minutes away, so this is not convenient travel wise for me by any means, but I will travel anywhere for good care. Fast-forward to today, December 4, I go in for my appointment to drop off the test that I was sent home with 11/26 to test me further, and when I went in to drop off the samples, everything appeared to be fine. I gave them to the phlebotomist, And I left... As per usual. Unbeknownst to me, I'm driving 25 minutes away to go back home and get back to work, I'm on a work call as I drive home and I noticed that Mountain View called me twice back to back... I'm on an important call so I cannot switch over, and the first thing I thought is there is absolutely no way they are calling me because they forgot something again, I am already traumatized that happened to me the first time. Once I was finished with my work call, I gave them a call back lo and behold just to find out that yet again they incorrectly read my charts. They told me that the way that the tests were requested. So now I have to go back for my appointment December 18, but we were originally supposed to discuss all of the results that I had already sent in, now that Appointment is essentially obsolete because the testing still isn't done, mind you I have driven back-and-forth to the office more than five times now trying to achieve the same results and something that should be extremely simple... all she could literally tell me verbatim was "well you don't have to drive back up here if you don't want to I was just making you aware"... Girl of course I have to drive back up there. This is my health we're talking about, no matter how frustrating it is I'm going to do whatever it takes to finally get these test submitted, but wow the hoops I've had to go through is crazy! I'm typically not want to complain, but the situation has left me feeling helpless and in disbelief!

Considering the seriousness of diabetes, I found the lack of education and guidance to be extremely concerning. The visit felt rushed and impersonal. His office is consistently overcrowded, and it seems he may be seeing more patients than he can reasonably give quality attention to. Fortunately, my pharmacist took the time to thoroughly explain the medications and provide much-needed information about managing diabetes. I believe patients deserve more comprehensive care--especially when facing a life-changing diagnosis.
