I also found it easy to work with the woman who answers the phones (sorry, didn't catch your name) and does the scheduling and billing questions. BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! HIRE ANYONE ELSE!!!…read more My home started to have a leak from under the tub area. We were unsure if it was a leak in the wall or under the tub. My warranty company hired Sun City Plumbing to do a leak detection. The technician first said a "4 foot cracked tile" to the warranty company. I told the warranty that we do not have a 4 foot tile, Joe @ Sun City changed it to "cracked grout." So we assumed they actually did the work, found the issue, and we fixed the tile... that didn't fix it. Instead the leak continued and came through the walls, into 4 rooms, destroyed my carpet (all while I kept telling my warranty company that it is NOT a tile issue). I called Joe @ Sun City and asked him where the supposed crack was, he told me to email him photos and he'd ask his tech. I did. No reply. I waited... my floor was filling with water, the warranty company escalated the issue.. all while waiting on Joe. Today, December 13, 2024, I called the warranty company disgusted with the issues... they said it cannot be covered since a "tile issue" is not under warranty. I told them it is not a tile issue, it's a leak! And that Sun City misdiagnosed it. I called Joe at Sun City and asked him about the leak detection and how it was performed. He said, "we turn on the faucet and look." How can you tell if there's a leak from a pipe in the wall?!!! Under the tub?!!! In the ground?!! His quick money-grab job has caused me thousands and thousands in damage! Had he of done a proper leak detection back in Mid-November, we would not have all of this extensive damage!!! I AM LIVID! I called a real plumbing company to come out and do a real leak detection, once they do we'll be able to get this leak FINALLY fixed! INSANITY!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY GREATEST ENEMY!

We hired Maddox to correct a few items that appeared on the inspection report for our newly-purchased home in the Las Cruces area. We also hired other contractors, for whom I will be leaving much more positive reviews. Maddox, unfortunately, only managed to successfully complete (net) one among a handful of repairs, while charging us roughly the same amount of money that they estimated for all of them. My wife ended up working pretty hard to get the plumber out of our house, as at one point he had broken far more than he had fixed, and it was unclear that we would have running water at all when he left. When he did leave, he had fixed two small leaks and introduced a third, immediately adjacent to one he'd repaired. I get that it may be hard to hire competent people in today's labor market, but the plumber Maddox sent seemingly spent as much time making arguments for work that would perhaps bring our home into greater alignment with his wheelhouse, as he did implementing the needed repairs. We were offered, for example, an opportunity to have a very common plumbing product replaced with a bespoke hand-assembled substitute because a direct replacement would supposedly be hard to find. I wasn't on site but had my wife take a picture. I found a direct replacement online, available next day, in minutes. Had that been the only problem I might not be writing this review, but it went on from there. As it stands, we won't be calling Maddox back. That seems sad, as we've since met other far more competent contractors who do hold the company in high regard. If you do call them, I suggest you go over the work needed very explicitly and if you hear any words suggesting that they don't know what outcome they'll get, or that a thing you have should be replaced with something different because what you have is in some way inferior, don't let them take anything apart!
