Early lunch for the four of us. Got a great table on the rail overlooking the bay. We ordered a variety of items: New England Clam Chowder. Club Sandwich, French Dip, Chicken salad, and Margaritas. Food was good, no complaints. Service was excellent. Lots of fresh air and clean bathrooms.

Cute little place we like to stop by for happy hour, and watch the sunset. Good service, most of the time it is not too crowded so service is awesome. We like the calamari strips which is the same dish as the one we used to get at the Kona Inn. Really soft and tasty. Good drinks, I like the relaxed atmosphere here.

Well, let's see the server had 2 tables including us and she could not tell that the order what incorrect, even though I was clearly removing my green chilies from my French Dip. We had water with our Mai Tai's, but only received after requesting again. She had no server mindset in a service industry. Place was meh all around. My husband had the Mahi fish and chips and it is was ok with onion rings. Drinks were great.

Great views and nice outdoor seating area. It's in the center of the touristy street. Their menu has lots of burger and fries options. I really enjoyed their potato salad! Server was very helpful navigation the menu with my child's allergies!

My son and I were exploring the shops when we came across the Kona Canoe Club. I believe it was just opening for the day and we were able to be seated immediately. We sat on the deck right along the railing with a superb view of the ocean. We were close to it. It could literally hear the waves lapping up on the lava rocks. It was a great view and a nice place to enjoy lunch. My teriyaki chicken sandwich was very good. I recommend it. The french fries were a little bit underwhelming and for the price the quantity was disappointing. My son had the hamburger and said it was tasty. It did come with plenty of tomatoes, onions and lettuce. He enjoyed it. Again, the potato salad was a bit disappointing. Not bad... Just not good. Overall, the service was pretty good. However, the reason for four stars versus five is after our server dropped off the check we never seen her again. I sat patiently for about 10 minutes trying to remind myself that we were in Hawaii and that I should be on the island time. However, finally, I had to flag someone down to take my money. Trying to pay the bill literally added an extra 20 minutes to our dining experience. Weird! Overall, the view was great and the food is pretty good. Just make sure to pay the check at the moment they drop it off.

This place was not very good other than the view and the onion rings. Otherwise it didn't have good food. The hamburger was decent. The nachos was horrible they put them in the oven or burner and the chips and cheese were well done like burnt and it didn't taste that yummy. It was not worth getting. Everyone got something different but I only ate the two. See my photos. They made half of our group food then I don't know what happened. I have other photos of my friends food but I don't try them or comment

Delicious sliders! Loved the combo sliders! Especially the fork tender pork! Best fries in Kona! Huge nachos that 4 can share! Don't miss it and be patient! Enjoy the view while you wait for your delicious food and cold drinks! Friendly server with great sense of humor and tips on cool beaches Thank you Denise

Stopped by for afternoon cocktails. We were able to snag an ocean view table without a wait. Our server and other staff were all very friendly. The drinks were delicious, especially the toasted coconut one, yum!

The clam chowder was seriously THE BEST I've ever had! It's an absolute MUST! It is a little pricey, but you're in a tourist town, eating fresh seafood with an ocean view, so that's pretty expected and I didn't think the prices were outrageous. Good service. I ordered the steak & eggs, with gluten free toast, and she ordered the eggs Benedict with pork. Her dish came out, and halfway through, she noticed a hair in her food. They took it back and remade it, but she was already grossed out, and the server made no attempt to discount or remove the dish from our bill. My steak was cooked right (medium rare), but it was incredible tough, tendony, and over salted - so much so that I only ate half of it. We both had indigestion and felt awful after. Also, the "grilled" potatoes are deep fried, just FYI. The only positives were that the server was nice and the service itself was quick.

Sat in the back covered area near the bathrooms. Our waitress was a middle-aged lady who didn't even greet us. First thing out of her mouth was "what are you having to drink?" Mind you there were only two other tables occupied in that seating area. What's worse was a lady dressed in casual clothes (pink shirt and denim shorts) who wore a crossbody strap that held her phone. She looked like a tourist, but then she started seating people. At one point, she grabbed a full sauce bottle from a pantry approximately one table away from us. The bottle dropped and glass shattered. The sauce even hit my ankle. LUCKILY, the glass did not. Did she say anything or ask if I was ok? Nope. Nothing. She proceeded to grab cleaning supplies and carried on. The food here was mid, which was also a bummer. Do not recommend.

I've updated my rating accordingly. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= On our first visit, I wanted to order the Tourist Trap, a high-octane drink served in a pineapple. Unfortunately, they were out of pineapples, so I decided to come back another day for it. Because this second visit was for my birthday, I specifically called ahead to confirm they had pineapples available. I was told yes. When we arrived, there was a 15-minute wait, and I confirmed again at check-in that pineapples were available. Again, I was told yes. After being seated, we waited another 20 minutes before anyone took our order, only to then be told they were out of pineapples. At that point, we left. Being out of something happens. Telling a customer twice that it is available, after they specifically called ahead, then wasting nearly 35 minutes before admitting otherwise is a completely different issue. This turned what was supposed to be a fun birthday stop into a frustrating waste of time.
