Brought my 9 year old, 6 year old, and 5 year old to ride some "rides". The experienced the roller coaster and the water raft. They LOVED the experience. Brett was extremely helpful! He was patient when my daughter changed her mind a couple of times. They all said they would like to come back again. The ride lasted a few minutes. This place is also very clean. Definitely a touristy thing to do on The Strip... but when in Rome, amirite?!?! It's a clean little spot with few frills but apparently relatively big on thrills, LOL :x Anywho, the kids thought the roller coaster was neat. It was fairly calm and just an overall pleasant experience. Like I said, not super adrenaline laced, although the ones they COULDN'T ride looked promising. Place is spacious and clean. Had a decent time. However the overall excitement in the VR game was not so good. I want to come to a VR place and feel I can get a better experience than my PlayStation . I did the zombie wave game. When I came in a couple was doing the rollercoaster one. They didn't look so pleased. But I wish I could try all of them because it is priced decent for its area in Vegas. And until that point I was willing to try the other ones in the future if I ever bring a date when I'm in Vegas. What stopped that thought was the staff when I left. They guy who help us in the zombie game was cool and clear with directions. However, walking past the door, there were two other staff members at the front desk on their phones and didn't even acknowledge us until we said something (goodbye! Thanks !). THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! STAY AWAY!! Also, NO videos allowed here! Also.. the owner is a greedy money hungry tard who takes away fun memories :( unfortunate... This place uses cheap cell phone VR goggles. These are basically the same ones you can get for $10 google cardboard goggles and use your iphone. They DON'T have oculus here... Oculus is the BEST VR but obviously super expensive, so not something this place can't afford. The goggles they use are AWFUL, the pictures were very blurry and you could see the black outline of the goggles the entire time. The games are slow, blurry, and boring.. I was seriously getting bored and wanted the game to end sooner... I've used many VR goggles and these were the worst I've ever used. And the most annoying part is they don't allow videos. So we spent $100 and weren't able to take any videos.. WTF! If the owner was smart they would want videos taken so people would post on social media and show how fun it was... this would bring more people in. But of course the owner is greedy and charges $15 for the videos... WHO DOES THAT?! Esp after someone spends $100!!! TOTAL RIP OFF! I've been to other VR places.. it was cheaper and they let us take as many videos as we wanted.. was nice to have memories of this. Also, I came with my mother and I don't get to spend a lot of time with her.. I wanted to take some videos for memories before I loose her but they wouldn't allow it... how sad :( Never coming back here and hope they close down. read more

It's probably unfair for me to write a review of this place because I was sick with a cold when I tried the roller coaster VR and it made me feel pretty terrible. For what it's worth, it really did make me feel nauseous, so that's pretty realistic virtual reality! Although being sick might have added to the nausea. Before the roller coaster part of the "game" you got to go on a tour of the world and view animals and things in Norway, Antarctica, etc. That part was pretty neat. However, the images were not as crisp as I would have wanted. At the edges of the headset the images were definitely blurry. Kind of an expensive 5 minutes of time ($20) but it was worth it just to see what the VR fuss is about. read more

We went on Superbowl Sunday in the AM and it was a good time. The young lady handling us was outstanding. We did the roller coaster world tour, then the Jurassic rafting experience. The roller coaster graphic were not the greatest, could have been more clear. The rafting was a bit clearer, and had a bit of jostling involved. Treated the kids to the roller coaster adventure and they LOVED it. It was fun watching their reactions! My cousin and I also did the roller coaster adventure (I was surprised that I actually felt a little nauseous) and I also did the superhero one while my cousin did the haunted house one. The superhero one was fun, but it was more fun watching my cousin jump and scream during his adventure. All the kids were laughing and enjoyed watching him, too! Much to my fascination it allowed clients virtual reality experiences with realistic scenarios with little or no risk. These were several virtual reality experiences to choose from and were remotely controlled by staff. Virtual reality experiences varied in price and most were for a period of 5 minutes or so. Well I can see why the lower ratings. It's a fantastic concept and between my husband and I, we tried 3 different scenes. One was the roller coaster safari and it was kinda simplistic and boring. It would probably be a good fit for a child or young teen maybe. The 2nd one was my husband doing the zombie one. We may have bought the video but it was kinda lame and I could tell my husband didn't find it entertaining at all. The 3rd was the haunted elevator that I tried. That was actually kinda cool. It had 4D effects which brought it up a notch. You are not allowed to take pictures or video. I understand this to an extent. They want you to buy the ones they took, which we may have bought if they were worth buying but they don't even record all of the adventures. Found this fun VR shop by Linq on our way to the Highroller. This is such a fun experience. I didn't ride, but the kids love love love love it. After the first rafting dinosaur ride, they decided to do the roller coaster as well. I paid $10 extra pp for the second ride, must be some kind of combo promotion. The ride is about 4 minutes but this has became the highlight of our LV trip. read more

I feel so bad! I totally lost the receipt with the names of the 3 wonderful staff members that helped us during our trip. :( It was a man & two ladies, one with glasses & one with short hair. But they were wonderful! It was my familys first time trying VR & we had a blast. My mom was so scared. She was falling in the guy employee! It was super fun & we will always remember how funny my mom acted because we got all our reactions on two USBs. That's 7 videos! Plus some of the VR activities gave us prizes for sift next door. Very hidden building in the LINQ Promenade. The only reason I found it was because the screaming coming from inside. It looked fun so I went inside. The employees were very friendly. The only problem was the prices. My party consisted of three and it costed almost $100 dollars to ride a 5 minute ride. Yes, the jungle river ride was very fun and felt very realistic. It was our 1st ever experience with our family from hell. We are locals celebrating my nieces birthday. The young guy with the red hair, an the gentleman with the dreadlocks where amazing attendee's. I want to say it was the girl Janessa was a horrible hostess. After riding 3 of their attractions. The elevator, the theme park ride, & sight seeing outer space. Us grown ups where ready for the Raft. Because all the kids where done. When we heard a loud yell from Janessa telling us we weren't aloud to sit yet. But again there weren't any signs that said otherwise. We were trying to make there Job easier an settle in the Raft. One of us had grabbed the VR goggles an we where yelled at once again by Janessa an said (that's it I'm refunding your money an scream get out.) We where actually going to wipe them off with a wipe because they never took the time to clean any of the headsets. They were pretty groose. We where so embarrassed. There was a whole crowd of people. Who all agreed she was out of place. A man that was with another group of family mentioned she had check them out and was extremely rude. It's safe to say on her defense she was overwhelmed. But that's no excuse. We tried asking for a manager, she proceeded to again yell at us from across the room stating she was the manager. We asked for the owners name. She declined giving us any info. She Then walks to the back of the Room to talk our speak to someone in the phone. Again not letting speak to him directly. After refunding us our raft ride game. After all was said an done she offers us are refund back and asked us if we still wanted to ride at no cost. By then we were just over it. Wait for it, that's not where it ends. She called Linq Hotel security an said we had threatened her physically. It was just a hot mess. I'm going to go ahead an give it 2 stars for the 2 other employees who where great! read more

My wife had bought tickets for her and I to go and check out VR Adventures and play the zombie shooter, for my birthday, as it was on their website. we were both so excited as this would've been the first time that we played any VR games. when we got there, the worker told us that they don't have that experience there and that they aren't sure why it's on the website. we were both very disappointed. she suggested that their top experience was the journey around the world and the roller coaster. so since we were there, and had already prepaid, we might as well experience something. I'll be completely honest, it wasn't all that great of an experience. yes it was cool to see different parts of the world from a birds eye view. And as for the virtual roller coaster ride, you can't get the full experience as riding an actual rollercoaster. it was also very blurry. all in all, we are contemplating whether we will be going back or not or even referring anyone to go there just yet. maybe if things improve we will visit VR Adventures again. and MAYBE increase the amount of stars and have a more positive review. please take this review as a challenge to improve the experience. we are very patient people and try to give businesses the benefit of wanting to get better rather than taking this review as harsh criticism. read more

Not really happy because there was some kind of residue on my VR headset while on the Elevator experience, I couldn't see anything and kept having to remove my headset and try to clean it. I ended up not getting to enjoy the Elevator at all since I still could not see at the end. The experience is better if you go with more people because it's funnier to watch them than it is to participate. We paid for a large group and kind of just hung out watching the other people and my husband and I did 1 ride (paid for 2) and then just watched for a little bit before we decided what we wanted to do next, when we finally decided the girl said, didn't you already do 2? And we said no, we want to do this one now and she said no you've done 2 already and I told her again, no. She kept ignoring our request to do anything else and we finally had to go to the other girl. There were 14 people and we paid for 14, not all 14 did 2 activities but she wanted to make a big deal about how she thought we were trying to get a free activity. read more

I really wanted to try this as my boyfriend and I stopped by to take a peek to see what the commotion was all about as there was a crowd surrounding the front entrance. He was sweet enough to treat us to a round of virtual haunted house. $20 per adult per game. $30 per adult for two games. $15 per kid per game. They also offer family packages. Along with the haunted house game, they also offer flying over Vegas and ziplining options. Each round takes about 7-10 minutes. When you begin, they strap you up, ask you to wear VR goggles, headphones, and hold onto a remote controller. You don't do much walking in the haunted house game. You use the controller to navigate throughout the game. I don't get scared easily so haunted houses don't phase me, but it was an overall good experience to try once. Sudden objects and ghosts fly out at you numerous times throughout the game. It's a timed game so if you take up too much time getting acquainted with the game, they will kick you out of the game. At the end, you get to pick one out of four doors. If you pick the right door you are eligible for a discount or free game. Photography and videography is absolutely prohibited here! They record you during the entire game and you are allowed to buy your recording for an additional fee. It's fun watching other screamers go through it. My video wasn't particularly entertaining to watch, just a few flinches here and there and a scream at the end. read more

Staff was extremely helpful & professional. Tip: bring a sanitizer to wipe the glasses in case the person before you was sweating or something. Neat place for people wanting to check out VR before taking the plunge. "Superman" game flying thru Vegas popping balloons was very cool and fun. The DBox chair outdoor video simulator was like the California Adventure ride Soaring Around the World, but not as good in that the resolution wasn't as high and there was a bit of a screen door affect. The roller coaster at the end made my gf a bit dizzy. 5 star bc Superman is so cool, we both loved it, and I hope they add more fun games like action shooters very soon. read more

My wife and I both did the 'House of Horrors' virtual reality game, and it was actually pretty fun! My wife won a free extra game, so she got to do the 'Flying Superhero' which she enjoyed as well. A fun experience, but I wish the house of horrors was scarier and that both games took longer to complete. They each last only about 5 minutes. read more

I tried the superman adventure, flying over Las Vegas. It was a little scary at first , you really feel like you're flying and high up in the air. Once you get used to it and the fear fades away, it's wonderful ! You soar above the buildings , swoop down along the streets , arc around the top of the Stratosphere Tower, capture balloons , awesome . I'm 60 years old and I felt like a kid again, if only for a few minutes :) Try it !! read more

Furious. Selected the roller coaster ride. Sounds fun right? Got 2 min of random National Geographic images and then a blurry coaster ride that lasted what felt like 30 seconds. I am pissed. When the guy mentioned this other stuff I thought it was going to start with some ad, not dominate the ride! As soon as it finishes I whipped the glasses off and asked what the hell that was? The guy seemed surprised I was upset. I said I paid for a coaster ride not elephants and lions on safari. And the coaster ride itself was also so lame. I'm had better VR at home. This place is sooo much fun, especially when you are a little buzzed (and you should be, you're in Vegas after all!) In the Linq Promenade area, on your way in or out from the High Roller, so you have the perfect opportunity to try it. The line might get long when large groups come in, you can just buy the tix and ask when to come back, that will give you time for an extra drink at any of the bars next door (they even gave us a coupon for a pizza place next door, but don't count on it!). I did the VR roller coaster and the VR zipline, and loved both! Let yourself emerged in the experience and you'll feel the thrill! The seats are moving and shaking and that makes the roller coaster a blast, I was screaming and holding for dear life! (it's fun to watch others do it too, it's pretty incredible how people move their weight around to not fall off from a perfectly stable chair!) The zipline is so weird since it gives you the feeling of climbing and holding a handlebar (you have 2 wireless sensors to hold on too, they will save your life! At the end, at the last leg, you have an option for another zipline or a freefall. I didn't take the freefall since I was afraid that it's gonna haunt me in my nightmares for the rest of my life! But I was still shaky and scared at the end and my palms were sweaty, I absolutely enjoyed it! The guys working here are super friendly and helpful, and it's funny seeing them trying to convince some customers that they will be right there, ready to catch them if needed (that's funny because no one leaves their seats or lifts off the ground ever, there is NO danger!) read more

Haven't ever done virtual reality before. So this was somewhat exciting when I happened by it. Definitely not as neat as i thought it would be. The goggles were scratched up and distorted in the inside making the picture blurry and low def looking. Took away from the experience. Also the film was maybe 3-4 minutes and for the price, it seems pretty high. There is no vibrating or moving chair, its just stationary and their only tip is to lift your feet off the ground to make it more real. Pretty weak. Not nearly as exciting as some of the virtual reality videos you see online make it out to be. read more

-- LOW resolution graphics all around. It's 2017 as I write this, and these graphics suck. -- Wife got BLUE SCREEN (i.e. no graphics) for about 10 seconds on Rollercoaster ride. -- My left ear of headphone STOPPED WORKING on rollercoaster ride. I ended up tapping the damned thing for the second half of the "experience" which ruined the "experience." Nobody there either noticed me or cared to fix it. -- "Lift your feet off the floor to trick your brain that you're not sitting down" they tell you (for rollercoaster ride). But your legs just get tired. Why not have a little bit better mechanical setup? (i.e. A little footrest that's attached to the moving chair). -- "Zipline" really sucks and is not realistic. ONLY THING that was cool/exciting was walking onto the little plank. OH! Big deal here -- Guy talking to me the whole time during the zip line DID NOT TALK LOUD ENOUGH. I couldn't hear what he was saying. Made it frustrating and not fun. My wife went after me, and she told him straight out that she couldn't hear him. He didn't speak any louder. She told me later on that she had to take off one earpiece in order to hear him. Other than that lame guy, the other employee (a nice girl) was really super fantastic. TWO STARS for the nice employee & the overall experience. MINUS three stars for faulty equipment, low-end equipment, horrible graphics. the employee who doesn't care, and paying $60 for this experience. read more
