She did my hair yesterday and it's exactly what I want and looks beautiful. She's been blonding my brunette hair for several years now and does a fabulous job. No it was definitely her negligence that destroyed my hair before my wedding I had to tell her my head was getting really hot then she panicked to wash out and ended up dreading my whole hair so bad she took scissors and chopped it out. She has not admitted any wrong doing said sorry or offered any type of refund. So $300 later and still counting for repair I now have to chop my hair off after years of really long hair. She has thinning hair [and is in her 80s and her dermatologist has advised her not to use a brush, as it will denude the scalp eventually]. When she made her appointment she asked for someone who is experienced at dealing with thinning hair and the owner said that was herself, so my mother made an appointment with the owner Julie. She was treated very disrespectfully-- Julie refused to give her a haircut unless she was allowed to use a hair brush on my mother's hair, even after my mother explained that the dermatologist had warned her not to use a brush. My mother uses a special "styling" comb that works quite well. Other stylists have had no problem with giving my mother a haircut using the styling comb instead of a brush! I felt terrible that I had recommended this place to my mother and she was so disrespected. Thankfully my mother stood her ground and left. I cannot recommend this establishment after that experience. If you must go, don't let the owner Julie deal with you unless you prefer being disrespected.

The light ash brown came out NEARLY BLACK. I had just spent 16 weeks, 3 half day appts and over $1000 getting dark brown OUT of my hair at my local salon in CA. I am beyond upset. The stylist then argued with me about the color. She then said it would take 30 minutes to fix (after I just went through this process at my local salon, I know a 30 minute apt will not fix the issue without burning all of my hair off). The attached photos are my initial requests and the final product, after about 10 shampoos. Still dark brown.

Our appointment was Sunday at 9am and the wedding was scheduled to start at 4pm. I was originally worried that we would not have enough time with the amount of people that needed to get done, but we didn't have a problem at all. The girls were quick and got us out of the door right when we needed. I got my hair done by Tyla who did an AMAZING Job. She perfectly captured what I wanted and at the end of the night, I did not want to take my hair out. I was also worried that it would fall throughout the evening but it stayed PERFECTLY! We danced all night and my hair looked fantastic the entire time. The reason I gave this salon a 4 is because I was less than impressed with my nails. I was totally bummed because the bride paid for the manicure as a gift to us for being in her wedding and my nails didn't even last to the end of the wedding. I just got a standard manicure (I will post photos.) The paraffin wax was fantastic but I would have done without it in exchange for a quality paint job. My nails stayed wet for at least an hour after getting them done. I have never had this happen before so I was a bit confused. I feel that I could have painted my nails better myself. I paint my own nails about once a week and I've never had them not last the first day. By the time the wedding came at 4pm, I had at least 3 chipped nails. by Monday, the day after the wedding, every single nail was chipped and they looked terrible. I had to remove the polish the day after because there was no way I could deal with it chipped and rigid like it was. This problem seemed to happen to the other 3 bridesmaids in the party as well. We all just got regular manicures. The bride got gel polish which looked fantastic! I am not sure if maybe the nail tech is just more used to gel or what? Anyway, I was really disappointed in my nails. I was hoping to at least wear them a couple days after the wedding, but as soon as I got home I took the polish off immediately. I was bummed. But how awesome did my hair look??

I came prepared with several pictures of what I had in mind and Janay helped me narrow it down, explaining what she thought would be best for my hair type, then she set to work. We gabbed the whole time and I felt completely at ease and relaxed as she worked a miracle. She styled it as I normally would and then voila! The magic was revealed! I love my hair now and feel years younger. I will not hesitate to come back to Flawless for any future hair needs. Very satisfied customer.
