One of the reviews is from 2017, and staff has changed, and it may have been a one-off experience, and there are always two sides to the story. 3. I've been a real estate broker since 1998. I have used or dealt with most title companies and escrow companies in the inland empire area. I used a different title company for years that was very good, but didn't take the initiative that Danny with First American does. Every single real estate transaction has challenges, and Danny is super at taking on the challenge and finding a solution. He is an excellent communicator and even hand-delivers things to my door when needed. We've had 2 especially difficult escrows recently due the the fact that the properties were owned by a trust, within a privacy trust, within another trust, making it almost impossible to prove who the seller was. Danny and team were able to navigate and close. Amazing. 4. On the escrow side, I used the same escrow company for 20 years until the owner retired. I then tried several other escrow companies. Also, when we represent the buyer, we are subject to the seller's choice of escrow, so I have dealt with perhaps a hundred escrow companies. Marie Peraza and Daynia Castellanos have far and away surpassed the other companies I have worked within the last 8 years. For example, they have worked on some of the escrows listed above, and overcome the obstacles. They are good communicators and answer the phone. They are very knowledgeable and take time (even when they are very pressed for time) to explain. Very gracious and patient. All of our time is precious. Real estate transactions are normally the largest investments people are working with. First American (Riverside Branch) has been absolutely wonderful.
