This review is strictly for a Kids Bowling Birthday Party in the Z Lounge…read more Totally worth what we paid! Our youngest turned 5 and we wanted to throw him an extra special birthday party with friends. We've done private room bowling parties before and they're so great for enjoying time with other families and kids. You have a sectioned off private area so kids can run around and play and adults can relax and chat knowing the little ones can't escape easily. This was a 10/10 party! We paid for: 20 kids to bowl for 3 hours in the Z Lounge, endless soft drinks for 2 hours, 5 large 1 topping pizzas for the 20 kids and then adults had leftovers. We let the adults know it was a party for kids only to bowl and we'd have drinks and pizza for the kids and the adults were welcome to order food and drinks with a waiter that came to and from the room often. We also kept the $200 in arcade money and 20 ride/attraction passes for our kids instead of sharing them with the kids that came to the party. Our kids had an amazing time using those at a later date. It was totally worth it for everyone to have an amazing time and not have to host a party in our home. Also, shout out to Jules who helped us during the birthday party- she is amazing!! Thanks Wahooz Bowling Alley!

You were given a certain amount of time and when it was up, you had to go ask for more time. There was a chance that you would have to go on a waiting list. They were busier than in New Years Eve. The bowling sitting area and floor was dirty from food making it slippery and I actually fell on my first ball. We ordered fries and a pretzel. Both were good except we didn't receive the fry sauce I ordered and we were not given any napkins or ketchup. I went and asked for both. I took the fry sauce as a loss. Games have become way over priced at $1.50 each. Plan to spend money and go in a day where there is a deal to make it worth your while.

Matter of fact, my friend has a D&B gold card that they don't even make any more. He has a gazillion points on it and he is adept at playing a lot of the midway aka fair games. His daughter is just as adept so imagine my surprise when I blew through my $25.00 card in about 10 mins and each of them had won a combined 50,000 tickets. What was cooler than cool was that my friend asked my daughter, which stuffed animal she wanted and she pointed to a pig with a green hoodie. The employee was so kind to get out the ladder and grab the pig with the green hoodie. My friend handled the employee the gold card and I don't think she had ever seen anything like it She swiped it and basically said, " Ya. You're good". I laughed so hard. I ended up asking her if she had ever seen a point total that high, and she had not. It was a cool experience for everyone. In the end, I am not that savy in playing these games and the carpet does smell like old socks but I can see where it can be fun once and awhile.

It kind of feels like it's dying if I'm being honest. I don't see this sticking around much longer, sadly.

Additionally, when we purchased our tickets online we inadvertently purchased tickets ahead of time for the wrong theater but Nelson still accommodated us with that and other assistance. We arrived at the theater and sat down at approximately 2:50, and the movie is already playing. Confused, I went to guest services and was informed the movie started about half an hour earlier, and the time on my ticket was somehow incorrect. Here are the issues: -Upon realizing something was wrong, I went to find an employee. Nobody is present at the ticket check in area (as it is all now self-serve kiosks). The person in front checking tickets did not have any idea and told me to speak to a manager (who was working in concessions). So, I had to wait in line (again, after we already bought concessions) for about 10 minutes before I could even speak to a manager. The manager told me that for reasons unknown, the movie actually started at 2:25 PM, despite my ticket confirmation email saying the movie started at 3 PM. After having to wait about another 15 minutes, the manager said I would be eligible to receive a refund on my tickets. Never did the manager really offer an apology for the inconvenience and did not even offer any compensation (courtesy movie tickets) until asked. This was a terrible experience....it is clear management did not care to retain a customer. Between the drive to the theater and having to wait to even speak to an employee who knew what was happening, was a huge waste of time. It's a great atmosphere to watch a big game, and the overall look and feel is pretty on par for Idaho. On top of that, its location is within the Village, so you're in walking distance to many more other shops as well.

We were on the end lane, which was nice for a little extra space. The pins stopped resetting partway through, but the server had mentioned that issue might happen and maintenance came quickly to fix it. I ordered a margarita, it was okay, though I wish it came in the glass shown on the menu and had more salt on the rim. The place itself is super spacious with an arcade, a sports bar full of big TVs, and plenty of options if you want to host an event. The service was friendly and attentive throughout. We paid about $110 for an hour and a half on the VIP lane plus four shoe rentals, which felt fair for the experience. Big Al's has a fun, party-style ambiance and is located right in The Village, so you can walk around afterward to enjoy the shops and restaurants. Overall, a really fun night out!
