Our youngest turned 5 and we wanted to throw him an extra special birthday party with friends. We've done private room bowling parties before and they're so great for enjoying time with other families and kids. You have a sectioned off private area so kids can run around and play and adults can relax and chat knowing the little ones can't escape easily. This was a 10/10 party! We paid for: 20 kids to bowl for 3 hours in the Z Lounge, endless soft drinks for 2 hours, 5 large 1 topping pizzas for the 20 kids and then adults had leftovers. We let the adults know it was a party for kids only to bowl and we'd have drinks and pizza for the kids and the adults were welcome to order food and drinks with a waiter that came to and from the room often. We also kept the $200 in arcade money and 20 ride/attraction passes for our kids instead of sharing them with the kids that came to the party. Our kids had an amazing time using those at a later date. It was totally worth it for everyone to have an amazing time and not have to host a party in our home. The food we made with her help was delicious, and we left with full bellies, a set of simple recipes, and four mason jars of tasty sauce that we've already used to make another meal at home. If you enjoy Korean cuisine, we highly recommend Grace's classes. She also caters events and sells her sauces, marinated beef, and meal kits that we would buy regularly if we didn't live in San Francisco.

Matter of fact, my friend has a D&B gold card that they don't even make any more. He has a gazillion points on it and he is adept at playing a lot of the midway aka fair games. His daughter is just as adept so imagine my surprise when I blew through my $25.00 card in about 10 mins and each of them had won a combined 50,000 tickets. What was cooler than cool was that my friend asked my daughter, which stuffed animal she wanted and she pointed to a pig with a green hoodie. The employee was so kind to get out the ladder and grab the pig with the green hoodie. My friend handled the employee the gold card and I don't think she had ever seen anything like it She swiped it and basically said, " Ya. You're good". I laughed so hard. I ended up asking her if she had ever seen a point total that high, and she had not. It was a cool experience for everyone. In the end, I am not that savy in playing these games and the carpet does smell like old socks but I can see where it can be fun once and awhile.

The Discovery Center is located near many Boise favorites such as Julia Davis Park, the Boise River, Boise Rose Garden, and the Boise Zoo. This makes it easy to turn a trip to The Discovery Center into a full day of good times. If there's a feature of interest, I would recommend making the time to visit!

We had such a great experience with the manager at the village Cinema today while trying to see the…read morenew Toy Store with our 1 and 2 year old. My husband and I both love and grew up watching Toy Story movies and were so excited to watch the new one with our kids. We had high hopes but it was apparent after the first 20 minutes we were not going to be able to stay. I tried walking with my baby but she began crying and I didn't want to be "those people" so we decided to leave. I was the one year olds first movie and only the second for my 2 year old. I thought it would be worth a shot to ask the manager if they offered any discount or something to try and come back and watch it again, with no real expectations of it being offered because I mean we knew the risk lol. But the manager was so kind and gave us free tickets to return! It was such a sweet and kind gesture and I really appreciated it. We will definitely be loyal customers to this theater from now on

They had it in auditorium 6 originally and…read moregot perfectly placed seats on the website before hand, when we got there they had moved the movie to a separate theater with less rows and our seats were not compatible with this new theater. So we were just floating. And then the individuals that came in and paid on site were also assigned seats, which the computer new my seat arrangement and chose to not accommodate for that. Overall a rocky start to our experience. The movie itself was great and the seats were nice aside from the creaking. The sound was also not properly calibrated for the previews and movie itself.
