Dude is a hack!!! BOUGHT PARTS NOT NEEDED Brought my 2013 CRF 450 and $1400 later still did not have the problem fixed just more problems. Bike sat there for three months when I went to a second, Mechanic came to find out that he had swapped my electrical harness all around, and the problem was that two plugs were swapped on the harness. When I called Vincent up to ask why the harness was all messed around he just kept telling me that that's why the Mechanic is no longer working. There would not take ownership of his shops mess up. his OEM equivalent is not OEM equivalent the stater he had put in for the issue Was complete junk. Silicone was everywhere wires weren't where they supposed to be. I also have the invoice to prove it. read more

I wasn't happy with the carburetor repair , the incorrect expired tire diagnosis and the overall length of repair . I won't elaborate on the details. If Vincent chooses to give his version I will reply and give my version . Well Vincent Mendez I am glad you replied now it's my turn . My impatience came from your incompetence telling me that I had 2012 tires on my motorcycle that I had just bought in January of 2025 . Because of your diagnosis I called cycle gear where I bought my tires and complained and made a big stink about them selling me expired tires and that it was illegal to do so , Cycle gear was calm and said that they would make me whole and if I could please send them a picture of the expired tires . I then reached out to you and I have the text message from you and picture showing me that you read the wrong side and sent me a message saying you think my tires are good . I'm sorry but if you can't read a simple tire stamp I can't have patience with your type so called professionalism, also you said that my carburetor is worn and only found out after you rebuilt it and that its tired and worn , I then asked why didn't you let me know so we could order a new one and your exact words were " they don't make the em any more " well I sent you a picture and link for JP cycles with a brand new mikuni carb for my year motorcycle and motor . A simple google search would show you that . Instead I have a motorcycle running between 1800 and 2000 rpm's at idle and have the gall to tell me these type of bikes like to run at that rpm. Then Vincent Mendez you get defensive at my dissatisfaction and tell me "it's not your fault that I bought a money pit that you have to throw money at " ! Your a real piece of work Vincent making comments like that and Your the CEO of VRM motor sports talking like that to a paying customer along with your comment that you lost money says a lot about the person you are and your business practices . As far as the time line you were off by a month in half over the agreed time and if you don't have the time , decency and respect to call your customers and give them updates on delays due to uncontrollable circumstances then your business is bound to fail just like the motorcycle repairs you make . My primary case cover is leaking from the gasket and unlike your defense on other bad reviews you can't accuse me of having the bike for months or riding it thousands of miles . If your a motorcycle owner please take the time to read my review and choose wisely. I am not embellishing the review . If you want to reply Vinny its your turn cause I got more to my story on the belt if you would like to keep this review going , your eventually going to own up to a bad review , we all can't be wrong . 12-3-2025 was the pick up day for those contemplating using Mr. Mendez . For the record at the time of paying off my balance Mr. Mendez was generously giving me a 23 dollar credit which of course I refused and paid in full and had to ask for my two dollars in change because my exact words were " I was here to pay in full and cut my losses " . This is my very first review ever and this is cause this shop really surprised me, I called to ask what was an estimate for a repair and they gave me an estimate in the same call which for me is great. I took it to the shop and first off what I noticed was the workers were very respectful. I told them what was wrong with the atv and they said we could do it they also have great prices . They finished the work in 2-3 weeks which is amazing and quick. They told me all the recommendations for the atv that i should and should not do which for beginners is a good thing. Vincent is the man! He repaired the bike last minute and in 30 minutes. Talk about V.I.P. service. . . We have never been disappointed with his service or prices. We have taken him quads , dirt bikes , and even street bikes. The one we really thought he wouldn't be able to handle was an older Iron Horse. But he didn't ! It has been running like a champ ever since. And if you know anything about iron horse, they were discontinued. Vincent got it up and running as well. Took a large construction nail at Gardenville NV. Replug tire 3 times to get down 395, the tire and my portable pump quit 17 miles outside Adelanto. Stayed the night in Victorville and searched for a Motorcycle shop. Hats off to Vincent, a BMW mechanic before becoming self employed, had the torx bits for the BMW. I had crashed my motorcycle and I was looking for a mechanic on google, found VRM and took it there, meeting Vincent he is extremely friendly, gave me great price to fix it, and he's very experienced. I called him many times throughout waiting for it to get fixed and he gave me updates, he's very understanding. Once I got the bike back he gave me free decals and a pin, it was a nice surprise. On the way back home I broke down, he offered to pick me up in a truck, now that was extremely nice, taking your bike to VRM is like a family, I got the bike working and it turned out it was something I did. My go to place for service and repair. I havd been back 4 times since my first review and each time fast and friendly service. Inspects the bike lets you know what is needed and what can wait. Absolutely stellar service from Vincent and Crew at VRM. I dropped off my DR650 because it developed a "ticking" sound in the engine after it sat in the garage for over a year. Just listening to the motor run, Vince said it needed an adjustment and *possibly* a cam-chain adjuster due to inactivity. Two days later I get a call back that the bike is done; just needed the valves set and a little freshening up. That was it. I was overjoyed that nothing was serious. Cost was very reasonable; I would've paid more without arguement. One of the best things about VRM is the professionalism from Vince and the boys.
