I brought my bike in on Black Friday for a pretty standard service: install and balance a new front tire, and pull and balance the rear. A little while after I dropped it off, the service writer called me saying my drive belt had chunks missing every fourth tooth and that I also had a small oil leak from an oil pan bolt. He quoted me around $1,500 (discounted from the "usual" $1,700) to replace the belt right then since the rear tire was already off. That felt like a pretty big expense on the spot, so I told them to leave it and I'd deal with it later. I then had my personal mechanic look at the belt during another planned service. He went tooth-by-tooth all the way around and found absolutely no damage -- no missing chunks, no wear like the dealership described, nothing even close. It really looked like they were trying to upsell me on a major repair I didn't need. I called today and spoke with a manager to let them know what happened. To their credit, he said this is not the type of service they want their shop to be known for and that he would address it. I hope they follow through and prevent other riders from being put in this situation. Overall, I'm disappointed with the experience. If you go here, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any big repairs read more

I'm really upset with Harley Davidson Victorville I'll take my bike 2022 Harley Davidson an American with less than 3000 mileage this bike we bought in this location for 27,000+ tax a little over 30,000. We're not even use it to take the bike to the store to try to see how much I can get for it so I can buy another bike so I was thinking at least I can get a half because there's something normal you buy something for almost 30,000 you put a less 3000 mileage. They offer me only 4000 when they have a bike outside same conditions same bike for 27,000 they don't have to buy for me, but I think they weigh that feel our stuff didn't work nothing I don't think that's fair. What they say. I think the best way to say something like we have so many bites of this. We can get it back but not try to offer you $4000 for something that you pay more than $30,000. I'm not going back to this location for this business the way that I feel. I paid $4000 just for the boxes and the extra lights on this location. read more

A very nice dealer. Death Valley Harley Davidson has a nice appearance and organized style. Their merchandise section is in order and very neat. Their customer service personnel are kind and professional. My observation of their parts department was the same and their service personnel were on the phone, taking names and orders. So Kudos to the staff there running business like a fine tuned Harley on a nice sunny day. As for the sales floor, gorgeous bikes are inside rows upon rows is gorgeous machines rich in history and Harley Davidson tradition. Some of the used motorcycles were a little on rough side with dents and scratches etc. However, they did offer some pretty sweet deals on them. I am still shopping around. I must give full credit for this 5 star review to Charles as he did a fine job on his approach, he greeted me within the first 45 seconds, asked me a few questions, took me on test ride to see what bike is best suitable for me. His professionalism was unmatched that day. I did meet the assistant sales manager, and the Sales Manager on the floor that day as well.. I can't recall their names at the moment but anyhow, Charles had knowledge of the motorcycles I was looking at. He managed to help me realize after a test ride that the bike I was there for is not the one meant for me. He actively listened to what I had to say and made some very good suggestions. His interpersonal skills such as emotional intelligence and communication are setting the bar for his superiors to emulate. There is a future Leader among you Death Valley HD. I am excited about getting - a new Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He had me sold on a bike, but after dealing with others, I realized that I needed to be patient. I needed to process the information being provided and seek out other options. I am still shopping around. (I thought to myself: Get your own financing, with your credit union or bank, or buy cash. One thing, I did learn from a wise man working here and it was not Charles, was "cash is not King" for dealers (they want you to get in to debt.) Oh, I believe the other quote was "I don't make any money on the deal" I suppose there is More money in the Long Run.... For them and less for you.. but what do I know... Well I know that they get a check from the finance company and your responsible for the price plus interest. L.) Any how... I May be wrong and I will humbly stand corrected... I still might return to this place to make a purchase like I said so far they did offer a decent deal for a new bike. My father in law will be upgrading as well. He is talking about a CVO Street Glide to replace his Fatboy. He's the real deal. So I am going to be patient and shop around with him. I will be visiting two other Harley Dealers. It is my birthday soon. My father in law and I are going to make this year about Harley Road Trips on the Weekends and Up North. So one a thing is for certain two bikes will be purchased within this Month. Just not sure where yet. You guys I got my first Harley Yesterday and I couldn't be any happier that I was able to shop locally. It took almost 6 hours until everything was finalized and I was able to go home with my new sportster XL1200C but I'm so happy! I recently had service work on my bike at Death Valley Harley Davidson to the tune of $5,700.00. Once I began cleaning my bike after the work was completed I noticed a couple of new scratches on the leg warmers. Then when I turned the ignition switch on the custom cover came off in my hand. Then as I was cleaning the grease off of the motor I noticed my engine lights were just sitting on top of the motor. As soon as the motor got hot those wires would have been fried. I came in to the DVHD dealership today to pick up a part that I ordered. I really like the parts guys, Chad and Cris are the best and always make sure that I get exactly what I need. I happed to run into one of the HD Tech/Mechanics, Steven, who I struck up a conversation in regards to some small issues I was having with my bike. He suggested that we throw it on the computer and see if the previous owner had the stage 1 installed. Well, he was correct, there was no stage 1 download. Steven flashed my ECU which cured the problems. It's kind of cool when you come in a place for parts and leave with your bike running better than it has before thanks to a well trained HD Technician who solved it in a flash. I had a great experience at this Harley dealership when purchasing my 2023 Low Rider S. I worked with Louis on the initial review & quote and he was very helpful with all the information and really made the process simple and easy for me. Once we were ready to draft the paperwork, Dennis could not have been more honest and straight forward about my warranty, financing, and other additional options. He never deviated from the initial quoted price, and made sure I felt comfortable before moving forward with any of the presented options. I have had bad experiences with (car) dealerships in the past, so this experience was a breath of fresh air. After I bought the bike I spent the next few hours chatting with Bobby in parts about all of the parts/upgrade options that are available for this bike. I was impressed with his knowledge and willingness to help guide me through all of the available parts and accessories. At times it can be overwhelming with so many different modification options, but Bobby took the time to help guide me through it. He made this experience a breeze for me. Took my Street Glide in for a service and fresh tires. I have typically done all my own services on all of my vehicles, motorcycles, boats, etc. as I am beyond picky and know that everything is done right when completed. That being said, I have never been disappointing with VVHD, and this visit was no exception. Rene is my Service Writer there, he is a young cat, but is super thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, and goes the extra mile to ensure every customer is treated right. He knows his stuff. Couple Rene's mannerisms with Jaime in Service and it is a 1-2 punch. Jaime has been at VVHD for about 19 years and he too goes the extra mile for customers seeking quality service. Quality tech; period. Even as picky as I am, I ride away with a smile. If you are looking for a new or used Harley, you won't be disappointed here (I certainly have not been, nor have any of my friends). When I first met Dennis he told me "Come in and see me, if we can't make the number work, we will be friends forever". How true those words were. This store was my fav to shop for merch but they just lost a customer over $20. Merch I was going to buy was priced marked at 45 and they want to charge me 70 because they marked it incorrectly. If you google customer service Johnny in the service departments face should pop up! I've had horrible experiences with multiple Harley dealers over the years. Johnny single handedly changed my opinion about the company based off of my recent interaction with him. In a nut shell my bike was halfway fixed by another SoCal HD dealership. Johnny found out what the issue was explained to me why I had reoccurring problems and did every thing in his power to make sure I didn't catch the short end of the stick. He communicated with me on a weekly basis to give me updates on my bike and ensured that the issue would be fixed the right way. Probably the worst Harley Davidson I have ever been to the worst worst customer service I was told to bring in my bike on sunday for a simple battery replacement got here Sunday was told no they weren't taking walk ins every single time I have been to this Harley Davidson there's always an issue.
