We found this beautiful car online and made the trip up from Naples. Noah, our salesman, was…read moreresponsive, informative, efficient and super knowledgeable. He had everything set to go when we got there and thankfully it was exactly what we were hoping for! The finance manager Mike was also great to work with and didn't at all try to push anything extra or waste our time. They both made the process as easy as I imagine buying a car could be! We are so happy with our purchase and are looking forward to purchasing more vehicles here in the future.

I had been a customer of Norm Reeves Volkswagen in Port Charlotte for approximately two years after…read moremoving to Florida. During that time, I regularly serviced my leased Volkswagen ID.4 there, which gave me confidence that they valued my business and would be interested in helping me when it came time to purchase another Volkswagen. When I decided to explore buying out my lease, I visited the dealership because there were approximately $3,500 in Volkswagen lease buyout incentives available. Instead of discussing my options, the salesperson, Brandon, told me that the dealership does not process lease buyouts because they are not profitable. I was simply directed to other Volkswagen dealerships, including Volkswagen of Fort Myers and Volkswagen of Sarasota. What disappointed me most was not just the refusal to assist with the buyout, but the complete lack of effort to retain a customer. At no point was I offered the opportunity to speak with a sales manager or finance manager to explore possible solutions. Financing a lease buyout would still generate business for the dealership, yet there seemed to be no interest in even having that conversation. To make matters worse, nobody took the time to understand my situation. The dealership where I originally leased my vehicle is in Colorado, and I now live in Florida. Rather than listening and trying to help, I was simply turned away. Fortunately, I contacted Lakeland Volkswagen, and the experience was completely different. They listened, offered helpful advice, and ultimately worked with me to ground my lease and purchase a brand-new 2025 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro AWD in Pure Gray--the exact same vehicle Norm Reeves had sitting on its lot. Their selling price was approximately $9,000 lower, their electronic filing fee was $49 less, and they treated me like they genuinely wanted to earn my business. The contrast between the two dealerships could not have been greater. One dismissed me because my transaction apparently wasn't worth their time, while the other earned a loyal customer by listening, offering solutions, and providing a significantly better deal. If you're considering purchasing a Volkswagen, I strongly encourage you to compare dealerships before making a decision. My experience with Norm Reeves Volkswagen left me feeling that customer loyalty and long-term relationships were not priorities. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.

I was not in the market of financing my vehicle. Very low miles less than 50,000 K. The price was too high for the actual market value of the vehicle. Kevin was the salesperson who assisted me. The sales manager Ryan Panella got involved and we were able to meet halfway as far as the price. The end result I was pleased with the price. It is a challenge to negotiate when it comes to purchase a vehicle at a dealership. Sometimes you have to set ground to get the right price based on the current market value of the vehicle or simply walk away. Of course they don't want to lose your business. So I thank the team of Port Charlotte Honda for their service and getting me into driving away with my 2006 Scion XB Greatly appreciated.

I purchased a 2022 Honda CR-V from Norm Reeves Honda Superstore Port Charlotte. Based on my…read moreexperience, I cannot recommend this dealership. The vehicle price was represented to me as $28,000, and I was verbally promised a $6.000 discount. I initially declined optional add-on products, but later discovered that multiple optional products and charges were included in the paperwork, including warranty/service contract, tire coverage, maintenance, key coverage, Repel, dent protection, dealer prep fee, and other charges. These items significantly increased the cash price and the amount financed. English is not my first language, and I believe the charges and documents were not properly explained to me before signing. In April 2026, I returned to the dealership and signed cancellation/refund paperwork for several optional products. I was told the refund would be sent to my lienholder, Suncoast Credit Union, within about six weeks. Almost three months later, my loan balance has not changed. I attempted to resolve the matter directly with management, but no acceptable written resolution was provided. Customers should carefully review every document, every add-on, every fee, and the final amount financed before signing anything at this dealership.
