Working with Steve was a delight, he was fair and considerate when my brothers and I went to his business.

It was ok. Good cars compared to other dealerships in town. But it's not my first choice to look…read morefor a car again. Trade in value was horrible and could have been more. Didn't get the car we wanted. Always tried to make us put more down. Long process. Over a dozen hits on a credit report. Immediately upon leaving the dealership the check engine light came on. It was an o2 sensor but one we continued to have issues with the whole 2 years we had the car (eventually traded in elsewhere for newer car). Even when we'd replace the o2 sensor the light would come back on within days to a week. CD player never worked and broken DVD player ...we had to buy new DVD player. Little things I feel they could have fixed. Car had zero gas upon getting it. But yet our trade in had 3 quarters of a tank for them. Smh. And could have definitely put better newer tires on it for us. As we had to replace soon after. I don't think that's right dealerships knowingly do this to people. All cars should come with new tires. I mean come on we're spending thousands of dollars at the time as it is and then have to turn around and spend another $1000 for new tires on our "new" car. That's SO wrong. other than that it was a great suv and I loved it. Ran a lot better than other used cars I've purchased from used dealerships or buy here pay here places in town. Traded in for brand new suv in late/holidays 2018. There was an oil leak when buying this suv. My fiancé said the transmission showed signs of going soon. After only a year of purchasing. But there were no major issues for us, it still ran great. 3 possibly 4 stars because of these minor issues but if I HAD to do used again and here in town I would go to them over any other used privately owned used/BHPH dealership in town. Definitely way better quality used vehicles here than others! So I do recommend P.C.T.

I was told by the…read moredeal that they could not give me what I wanted on a trade due to the fact the 1998 was an old truck and it would be sent off to wholesalers. When drove past a couple off weeks after trading it in they had the 1998 old truck in the front row. They fixed the rear damage on the left side. The 2012 Dodge that I purchased was to have had no body damage, after seeing my 1998 had been repaired I started looking at my 2012 the I just purchased and sure enough left font of truck bed just behind the cab had repair work. How can they get passed Carfax without reporting damage. THEY LIED TO ME ! and I'm sure they will lie to you !

I…read morewas in the market for a van or a suv with 3 row seating, I came into this place and noticed they had nothing but decided to ask if possibly they had another lot. Wesley informed they did not and asked what I was looking for. I explained what I needed but told him I had not credit. He suggested I got a vehicle with them because they reported to experian credit burea and it would help mebuild my credit. I thought ooo this is perfect and went along with the deal. I drove off the lot and it started pouring rain, and the windshield wipers were terrible. I thought oooo no big deal drive to auto zone and buy them. I then relized the coolant was low and the air wasn't cold. I buy antifreeze freon and windshield wipers and go on my way. 2 days later the coolant light came on. Filled it up again. In 2 days i used a bottle of coolant. It happened repeatedly for 2 weeks. I also informed wesley when hr sent me to the dmv that it was making a noise in the rear when I would break. He informed it was normal because it wasnt drove in awhile. I allowed it to work its way out and after 1 week of the noise i get it checked out and low and be hold the brakes and drums are rusted and need replaced. More money on a car i just put $2000 down on. I then am opening the hatch and the hatch falls down on me because yhe hydraulic lifts are completely busted. Then the ignition is super hard to get the key turned. In 2 weeks i put close to $500 into this car. I finally said enough is enough and called. I spoke with wesley and he informed me that this is all normal maintenance. I informed him I felt with only have the car for 2 weeks this was not normal maintenance and i felt i shouldn't be responsible for all the repairs. I informed him of the coolant issue and the ignition and he said it was normal. He was extremely rude and informed me it was my problem. Which I knew wasnt. I contacted bbb and low and behold the next day he callrd and said the owner wanted to get the coolant looked at because it wasn't normal and for me to add only water no antifreeze. Ooo and that normal locking ignition yeah it wasn't normal and that was fixed as well. Yesterday I receive a email stating they are closing the retail location. I called to speak to Wesley about questions I had he informed me he'd have to call me back. I called the number in the email and it was the owner. I asked if even though the location was shutting down if my payments would still be reported to experian. He informed me they never report payments to the C.B. and that I would need to call Wesley. I waited for Wesley to call back and asked the same question hr stated yes absolutely nothing will change. I told oooo well that's weird that's not what the owner said he informed me if the owner said it doesn't gey reported then it doesn't. I asked why he told me it would be reported at the time of signing if it wasn't and that was the thing that sealed the deal.... So that later I would have that payment history and pay off on my credit to fit my needs for a vehicle. He said well its done now and I don't know what you want me to do about it. I asked again why he lied to me and once again he didn't answer. He then hung up on me. I called the owner back and he as well said hr didn't know what i expected him to do. I asked what I needed to do to get out of the contract and he informed me to bring the car back but I wouldn't receive any money back. I was 100% manipulated into buying this car that doesn't fit my needs. I was planning on paying this car off this year and having a payment/payoff on my credit to get into a larger vehicle. Unfortunately that isn't going to happen and I'm in a vehicle that won't fit 6 carseats(i babysit) and have nothing going on my credit to get a car loan in the future. I have contacted bbb consumer protection burea and a financial burea. BUYER BEWARE

He said that the problem had been taken care of. Two hours into a week rental the check engine light came on. The vehicle was having transmission problems. This company came and picked up the vehicle while we were at dinner without informing us, and did not issue us a replacement vehicle. We had to dispute a $467 charge to our credit card because Specialty Auto was not willing to issue a replacement vehicle or refund our payment. This company is super shady. I would not rent a lawn chair from these crooks.

I would suggest staying away from the Service Department…read more I purchased a low mileage vehicle with the Ford Blue Certified program. This program included a detailed certification checklist for approval which included a 90 day/4000 mile warranty. When I test drove the vehicle it was determined it needed new tires and a battery. Englewood Ford installed the tires when the vehicle was delivered but the battery took another week to come in. Once I got the vehicle home the battery would go dead very quickly, sometimes overnight. I was also notified by Englewood Ford that a software update needed to be install. I thought this strange because software updates were a requirement on the Ford Blue Certification checklist. It would appear they did not adhere to the checklist. Englewood Ford Service Manager, Mike and my service adviser, both told me my dead battery issue was because I did not drive the vehicle often enough. I informed both of them I could drive 2 to 5 hours, park the vehicle and the battery would be dead within 24 hours. Their response was put the vehicle on a battery tender/charger at night. I then asked them to provide the Ford Guidance for connecting a battery tender/charger to prevent a dead battery overnight.........they could not because there is no such guidance from Ford. On my last service appointment with Englewood Ford, for the battery issue, they tried to charge me over $200 for checking the battery they installed 3.5 months ago along with charging the battery. Again they claimed their battery check showed the battery was good. The actual Ford Service invoice terminology is "Battery Tested Good". This was used several times on my Englewood Ford receipts when I complained of a dead battery. After several service appointments for a dead battery, software update and a driveshaft replacement, I contacted Ford Customer Support. They informed me only the dealerships could help me so I decided to take my vehicle to another dealer. By now the Ford Blue Certified Warranty had expired, This time I took the vehicle to Jarrod Ford in Port Charlotte, FL and explained Englewood Ford had installed the battery 4 months earlier and I had returned to them several times about the battery going dead and them testing the battery "as good". Jerrod Ford tested the battery and, sure enough, it tested as BAD. I was informed by Jerrod Ford that it appeared the battery was paid for and installed by Englewood Ford. As such, they claimed, instead of the standard three year battery warranty, the installed battery was only covered by the 90 day/4000 mile Ford Blue Certified warranty. It appears Englewood Ford claimed the "Battery Tested Good" for my service appointments while my vehicle was covered by the Warranty so they did not replace the battery that would have been at their expense. It seems very strange after numerous complaints of a dead battery with Englewood Ford that one appointment with Jarrod Ford revealed the battery was in fact bad. I attempted to convey this fact to Englewood several times during my warranty period. Could you imagine Ford dealership telling a customer, who bought a vehicle from you, to put a new battery on a tender/charger to prevent a it from going dead overnight? It would appear Englewood Ford was stalling me until my warranty ran out so they would not be liable for the replacement battery. If you live in SW Florida, Englewood Ford would NOT be on my list for any repair or service for any vehicle even if has a warranty.

They hit me with the famous "could not duplicate" to my concern and failed to do anything about the vibration or check the balance. Its so bad we don't even take this vehicle on the highway. They tried telling me the vibration was the lane keep system... LMAO. They never even drove it on the highway so I wonder if they even tried to duplicate the problem? I've purchased a lot of new Fords over the years and i've never had a dealer not take care of me after. This was a first. I don't appreciate the dealer wasting my time. This dealership is incapable of doing a basic diagnostic. Stay away. I know I won't be back.

When we went back this time for oil change and tire rotation, the rotated the tires, but didn't fill them up like we asked. We have a TPMS system and the tires still showed low. So we went back a couple weeks later (we'd been out of town) and asked them to rotate the tires how we wanted them, and they threw in balancing for free. After spending nearly $5,000 with this service department, the original issue still isn't fixed. The explanation we received afterward was essentially "no clue." We were told the batteries had to be charged and that there's "something electrically wrong" that they cannot diagnose. As someone in the industry, that response is unacceptable after charging a customer thousands of dollars. If the problem couldn't be properly diagnosed, replacing expensive parts beforehand raises serious questions about the diagnostic process and how those repair decisions were made. Dealership service departments are supposed to have the highest level of training, diagnostic equipment, and technical support. Charging a customer $5,000 and then admitting you can't diagnose the issue is not what anyone should expect from a professional service department. I was simply trying to help my customer get their vehicle repaired properly. Unfortunately, this experience did the opposite. Very disappointing.
