When we went back this time for oil change and tire rotation, the rotated the tires, but didn't fill them up like we asked. We have a TPMS system and the tires still showed low. The service advisor said "oh that will go away when you start driving." Yeah... it didn't. So we went back a couple weeks later (we'd been out of town) and asked them to rotate the tires how we wanted them, and they threw in balancing for free. The service manager, John, was very accommodating.

After spending nearly $5,000 with this service department, the original issue still isn't fixed. The explanation we received afterward was essentially "no clue." We were told the batteries had to be charged and that there's "something electrically wrong" that they cannot diagnose. As someone in the industry, that response is unacceptable after charging a customer thousands of dollars. If the problem couldn't be properly diagnosed, replacing expensive parts beforehand raises serious questions about the diagnostic process and how those repair decisions were made. Dealership service departments are supposed to have the highest level of training, diagnostic equipment, and technical support. Charging a customer $5,000 and then admitting you can't diagnose the issue is not what anyone should expect from a professional service department. I was simply trying to help my customer get their vehicle repaired properly. Unfortunately, this experience did the opposite. Very disappointing.

My first experience here was dropping off a car for service at that first experience mixed. Did they fix the car? Yes Were they courteous? No, well other than the young salesman, he was friendly. The sales manager told us we need to wait outside, unfriendly. We're waiting for our Uber to arrive to take us home after dropping off the car, but the dealership had just closed and he would not allow us to wait in the dealership until the Uber arrived. Although there were quite a few employees still roaming about them, trying to close a deal and get some other things done. So do I think I'll ever be back to buy a car? No, I'm 100% sure but I will not. Sales managers always seem to be the worst employees at any dealership. I don't know what it is about that job that either attracts these people or creates them. But over my years, dealing with many dealerships and buying many cars I will say that there are good sales managers out there there they're just very few and far between. The service advisor at first had the same attitude, short and abrupt, not friendly. Not forthcoming with any information we provided any details about when the car will be finished and no communication at all until the car was finished. Then he became quite friendly, letting us know the car was finished. I'd rather drive to another city and seek service or to buy a car than come to this dealership. Not because this dealership is terrible. I just don't want to go somewhere where they make no effort to make me feel like I'm a valued customer.

Their lot is at a very dangerous intersection of Bypass 41 and Gulf Soast Bulavard. There is a curv in the highway there and visibility was very limited. Ronald Foxworthy Park is on Guf Coast Blvd. To make matters much worse Plattner is parking vehicles for sale as close as they can to the highway. They are off the parking lot and into the grass right next to the sidewalk. I have asked the foreieners in the office to move them back, I have called the Sherriffs out several times. I won't even try to pull out there I have to go north and make a U- turn. There has been at least one accident there already, I'm sure there will be more, perhaps a lawsuit will convince them they are creating a very hazardous condition.

When I arrived, I told the salesman (I don't think he ever told me his name) what I was there for. We went into the office, where another man was in the back on the phone. The salesman that I was working with shouted back for him to get off the personal call and answer the business line that was ringing, then proceeded to talk poorly about the caller (I guess he recognized the number). After the person in the back hung up with the caller, he then shouted to the front where I sat with the salesman that he was going to "take a s@#t). The icing on the cake was that the salesman then proceeded to inform me that the car that was advertised for $4584 would be over $7800 out the door (including tax, tags and dealer fees). I hadn't even looked at the car!! I politely declined and went about my day.
